AllthatshewantsisanotherBBaby · 30/03/2012 16:33

Ginger thats fab news!
Ses well done you work hard so its great you are recognised!
DAs face is healing ok but having to watch him for picking! We've been swimming today so he is getting grizzly but he had fun bless him!
Kayz try not to worry, it may just be fluid, DS always measured big an he was quite small!

Had a call from work.. Have been asked to go in monday.. 3pm.. As a decision has been made.. Has really ruined my ideas of a chilled weekend but hopefully it will put an end to the situation!

On an upside we are currently watching free movies.. Complained on amazon abt poor packaging (slightly damaged cover) and they refunded whole order (2 dvds) Smile

tinkhassprung · 30/03/2012 21:59

AllthatshewantsisanotherBBaby · 01/04/2012 18:24

Hi all

Hope you've had a good weekend?
Kayz not long until THE BIG DAY!!

We have finally finished our garden, so have spent all day out in it today planting and had a nice bbq! Yesterday we had a lazy day watching movies was really nice and needed.

DS has been lovely this weekend but I've a feeling he is sickening for something!

Work have arranged another meeting for monday, I've been asked to go in even though its a day i dont work. As i understand it this will be the meeting where they define what hours they are looking for... This could go my way maybe not... Ive drawn my line in the sand and said there is no way id go full time so we can but hope i suppose! Fingers crossed!

It looks though like the final decision will be made weds... Which happens to be my dads anniversary... Sense of timing they've got eh?!

Gingerbreadlatte · 02/04/2012 08:34

Morning all

BB- all the best for the meeting today. Hope they agree to something less than full time for you. Let us know how it goes. BTW, your BBQ sounds good. :) Hope DS is ok today.

Hi everyone else.

maternity jean queen Diege are you lurking? or anyone else who knows about Seraphine jeans or Seraphine clothes in general? are they a) any good and b) do they come up big? I am struggling to remember but im sure last time all mat clothes are generally huge?

Gingerbreadlatte · 02/04/2012 08:35

Tink- meant to say, house sounds good. Do you get to choose all the fixtures and fittings etc as its being built?

Kayzr · 02/04/2012 10:46

Morning,

Ginger, if you plan to get anything from Asda it's all really big. I got size 12 jeans and they were huge. I'm a 14 everywhere. Very strange.

Tink, we've just been looking at new builds. I'm not sure if we'll go for it yet but it's very cool to see your house as it gets built. Hope your doing ok. Smile

BB, I hope it all works it out with your job.

I am waiting for some stuff to be delivered and I want to go out. Sad I'm bored!!!

choccytink · 02/04/2012 12:51

Happy Wedding Day Kayz! Hope you have a wonderful day Grin
Glad that you know what's happening at work BB - hope they don't keep you hanging on too long re. the other role.
Yay for long weekend - how are you feeling Ginger? Are you 9 weeks now? Is flying by from my perspective, but probably not from yours?!
Ses, belated well done on your rating - expected nothing less of course Grin
Hope you and DH are getting somewhere with the future discussions in case it comes up again.
Sorry haven't posted for ages - have been lurking, but not getting the chance to post. Some catch-up....
Can't - glad things are working out for you as a family with DH's new role.
Tink - glad you have a plan re. Cards and you're feeling better now DH knows. I don't have any credit or store cards because I would be rubbish with them.
I can't remember anything else - big wave at Rugby, Diege, Bumps, Gruff and anyone else lurking.
Btw - anyone know much about children's glasses - looks like DS needs them, but have a follow up at hospital next week for the back of his eyes Confused to be looked at first. Do they get them free still, or will we need to pay?

Moosy · 05/04/2012 16:45

Hello Star, nice to see you! DD2 has had glasses for a year now, it's very easy. You go to hospital where they test their eyesight (how old is your DS? If v young they put drops in to help the test) then you get a prescription for glasses which you take to an optician/glasses shop. They're covered on the NHS for any frames up to £35, if they cost more you have to pay the difference. I've found the little independent opticians are better than specsavers, her ss ones were forever bending and slipping down, but her new ones are SO much better - had them about 6 weeks and they still look new, they're Rip Curl but were still free!

Kayzr · 05/04/2012 18:06

Quickly popping on to say thank you!! I'm married now, the weather has been brilliant and it's been an amazing day!!! Grin

Starshinetiger · 05/04/2012 18:13

Ah thanks Moosy. They came into school and tested and he got referred to hospital. We went on Tuesday, but he has a flicker so needs to go back on Thurs with drops in to see the doctor (he's 5, in reception). Thanks for your advice. Have never been a fan of specsavers for myself either. Was really hoping he had inherited DH's 20/20 vision rather than mine Sad. Sounds like I'm going to have specs envy of him Wink
Currently sat here letting the kids watch scooby doo with Hedrin in... Been using nice n clear and combing for 2 weeks now, but seems to have limited effect in term time, hoping to get rid of the crawlers in hols - you have any tips on treatment for lice too? Hedrin is v. Expensive!!!

Starshinetiger · 05/04/2012 18:14

Congratulations Kayz (I mean Mrs) Grin! Glad you've had a fab day.

Moosy · 05/04/2012 19:50

I use hedrin - it is a bit pricey but seems to work really well first time :)

Congrats mrs kayz, hope there'll be pics on fb soon!
