Hi all,
Ginger - enjoy the scan
Ses - lots of SPD sympathy from me, I'm suffering too mostly at night. It isn't fun and I'm dying for a really good nights sleep but we don't have long to go
.
BB - do you want to come over and do my garden too
. I'm trying to get it tidy ready for my peas, tomatoes, strawberries etc but it's very slow going. What are you planning to grow?
Cant - so so so happy to hear that your DH is feeling better and home life is much better (I won't comment on the bedroom - the SPD, sore hips and constant indigestion have pretty much killed the bedroom mood and DP has more or less moved into the spare room so that at least one of us gets some sleep
. So different from my last pregnancy ).
As you can probably guess from my comments above I'm finding this pregnancy much harder than with DD and really looking forward to it being over - just 7 weeks left hooray
. The nesting mood is seriously setting in too and I've suddenly got a huge list of jobs I want to get done in the next 2 weeks before my brother and his family visit:
Paint playroom, buy some new shelves/storage, put up corkboard for DDs paintings, sort out the toys and have a tidy.
Buy new drawers for DCs room then sort out all the baby clothes etc and put in room
Pack hospital bag
Look out and clean the moses basket bedding
Get pram out of storage and give it a clean
Buy new changing bag as mine has big velcro strips that keep catching my clothes so they all bobble
Buy last few baby bits - changing mat, nappies etc
Have a big general clear out to get rid of some of our clutter and make some space
Get garden tidy and start planting veggies
I guess some of it could wait but I just want everything done, organised and tidy NOW
. Luckily FIL is coming to help with the painting and sorting the garden out next week but I'm just so frustrated that I can't do as much as I want to myself. After just an hour of gardening I'm shattered and my hips ache - bloody pregnancy hormones!
In addition DD has been asking to have her nappy off at home in the afternoon/evening and has been doing very well with using the potty so I've decided to just go for it with the potty training while she is interested
. Day 1 today and so far 1 accident at toddler group but 2 wee's and 1 poo on potty at home. We'll see how she does at home/garden/park tomorrow and then it's nursery on Weds. I think she'll find it hard when there are distractions but nursery seem okay with it (just said to bring loads of spare clothes) and I guess the only way for her to learn is to go for it. What do you think???
