Congratulations giraffe and nanny, and good luck worm and everyone else in labour/about to go into labour/hoping to go into labour!
I spent a couple of hours in triage last night after falling flat on my face like a small child, and in puddle to top it off (oh the shame!). I knew everything was fine, but that nagging feeling I should get it checked out won in the end. The doctor was a little unnervingly overly familiar - the first thing he did was squeeze my thigh and then held my hand while he checked my notes
Anyway, if he hadn't been as camp as a row of tents I'd have been worried! My hip is agony today though, and my knee bloodied and bashed - hoping G2 doesn't come early as I won't be able to kneel or do anything useful during labour if s/he does!
I also had to do a comedy running round shoving stuff in a bag in case they wanted to keep me in - so on the plus side, my bag is now half packed! Mostly with totally random and useless items, but still...
red I shall be calling that number after listening to what was going in triage - they didn't seem to have any ante natal or postnatal beds, so frankly home birth really does sound like the best option - at least I can provide my own mattress!
spag I have doughnut jealousy. A slightly green banana just isn't cutting it by comparison.
tigana 2cm is better than nothing (some poor girl I heard in triage last night had been having contractions every 5 mins for 14 hours and wasn't at all dilated - so think positive!)
