Just waiting for TBI and then going to meet his family for dinner, they have come over for the weekend for our anniversary party. Fingers xed for a bit of sunshine on Sunday.

Hope you all have happy bloomin' weekends.

Just looking after DNephew. Had a luffly half hour cuddling in bed watching tv. He was stroking my hands. Twas magic! Yesterday I cried because I googled an image of a 5 week foetus - it already has a tiny beating heart, eyes, is growing ears! I'm excited and terrified (of things going wrong) in equal measure.

HaveALittleFaith · 25/08/2012 10:58

Reassure me it's fine that I'm not puking today and my buzzwams are less sore pliz?!

HaveALittleFaith · 25/08/2012 11:26

Never mind

blonderthanred · 25/08/2012 13:40

Oh Faith, hope you have not been too worried. Symptoms definitely come and go throughout pregnancy as far as my (small) experience goes.

Glad you have a little more vomiting to reassure you though...

HaveALittleFaith · 25/08/2012 13:58

Yes, I never imagined vomiting would be so reassuring! I'm ok first thing and can eat breakfast, it's late morning/early afternoon that gets me. It does really worry me - I think just because this win took so long overall - that every change is terrifying! I have no reason to assume this won't be a normal, healthy pregnancy. The buzzwam change is less hurry but actually still vairy sensitive. Maybe less hurry because I managedoee fluids yesterday so less water retention?!

DSis has lent me what to expect when your expecting and BIL has lent MSB Pregnancy for blokes! They have offered to lend us their Moses basket (would obviously get a new mattress) and Angel care so a couple less things to worry about!

CamelKnees · 25/08/2012 14:33

faithy glad the chundering has returned (v odd statement there ). Mine is about the same time everyday too. Oh and hurrah for borrowing some bits. Moses basket in particular will be ace as they're not in them due very long.

In other news - what a sweet blessed relief it is to be wearing an elasticated waist. I am ridiculously bloated already and can't fasten anything. So have overcome my embarrssment at being such a porker at only 5+5 and am sat here in a pair if maternity jeans from last time. Absolute bliss.

HaveALittleFaith · 25/08/2012 15:46

I still fit in my jeans at the moment but wear exercise (ha!) trousers a lot. Habit from when I used to go straight to the gym after work. I have done a hour and a bit in the garden. Looks better but hard going! I think my blood pressure is dropping as I stand!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/08/2012 10:28

No chundering is okay too, right? I still feel fine (5wks) except I have some symptoms now: farting, burping and one enormous boob.

I still fit all my clothes, but thankfully project BMI baybee that faif and I both have been doing for the past few weeks (sensible eating and lots more exercise) provided ample space in all my clothes for the slightly bloated belly. Been for a swim yesterday and awalk-run 4K today! No more sludge-gate, so I feel a bit more confident.

Btw faif Grin at the poo in bath story. How did you cope with sickness as well? How has the rest of the weekend been so far?

Wave at older PESH, please talk lots so I get to know you properly!

HaveALittleFaith · 26/08/2012 10:38

Sounds fine to me drizz! My sister had hardly any sickness through her pregnancy. I always thought I would get sickness because I'm quite a sicky person! The poo wasn't too bad sickness-wise because it settles by the evening fortunately.

Project BMI baybee has definitely helped me with this stage. Well done with the exercising drizz. I'm just watching The Biggest Loser (makes me feel better!) then I'll be off for a walk myself.

My weirdest change has to be sleep pattern - I used to settle about 10.30-12 esievislly on a weekend and sleep in. Now I'm asleep before 10 but awake at 7!

FriendofDorothy · 26/08/2012 11:14

Torrential rain yesterday = mud to our knees today. Greenbelt festival is fun today!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/08/2012 13:27

And you're still enjoying yourself dot. Well done, am impressed!!

Sleep pattern changes - I've got that one too. I always am a morning person, but it has taken stupid forms now. I fall asleep by 11pm, completely and utterly. Wake to pee at 1 and/or 3 and/or 5am. And then ready for the day by 6/7am.

Have you been for your walk yet, faif?

How sweet were you today, blondie?

On other news SB and I have coined a "help-help-hurrah" phrase as an apt variation for this petrifying stage...

HaveALittleFaith · 26/08/2012 13:38

I have been a walk, just under 5k :)

Excellent phrase drizz. I feel exactly like that. Not that I have any reason to expect the worse (other than perhaps too long on MN and the fact that I'm fat) but just because it took so long to get to this point.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/08/2012 13:47

Exactly the same for us, faif. No other reason to doubt this diffage except excess knowledge of the stats, the LONG wait and a little excess weight... But it has been so long that it makes it harder to believe and much harder to have faith (see what I did there?) that this one will stick it out. But it just might :)

Massive well done on the walk!

HaveALittleFaith · 26/08/2012 14:04

I also swing between wishing I'd got slimmer before I got diffed and being delighted to be 8lb lighter than I was when I was weighed in at the gynae clinic.

I told MSB I will do a bit/rest a bit. Did a walk and unpacked books - we are trying to get to the point when only 1 room still needs tidying/unpacking. After I watch Dawson's Creek, I will hoe the border I chopped back yesterday.

blonderthanred · 26/08/2012 14:24

Hello, just popping in before my wedding anniversary party (will be ten years on Friday!). V nervous as suddenly had a few texts and fb messages from people not able to come. TBI's family over from Ireland so we definitely have some guests but I always panic before a party that no-one will come.

Sugariness seems to be ok so fingers xed it continues like that. Well done on all the exercising and healthy eating good PESHers, excellent work all round.

HaveALittleFaith · 26/08/2012 14:26

Oh I knwk that feeling blonder! I'm sure it'll be grand. 10 years is marvellous. Glad to sugary management is going ok.

dor I hope you have Wellies?!

CamelKnees · 26/08/2012 14:49

Well faif and drizz you've inspired me to me more active today so I'm off to a national trust place in a minute for a huge great walk. Really must try and get the podge under control while it's still early days.

dor I am v impressed with your uber cool festivalling.

blonde well done on the sugar management and huge congrats on 10 years!

I am typing this post through gritted teeth as HY refuses to come with me and the little 'un for a walk (despite the fact this will be our only chance as weather is forecast as shite for tomorrow) because there's sodding football on at 4. Beyond annoyed.

HaveALittleFaith · 26/08/2012 14:52

I was alone for my stroll too as MSB (to be fair did a bit round the house) is watching all the stupid football too. I rather enjoyed the last couple of weeks - no league, no World cup/euro malarkey, no Olympic football. Back on it now and I've even spent my hard earned cash on a man u shirt for his birthday!

CamelKnees · 26/08/2012 17:19

Snap faith re sport free couple of weeks! We don't row a lot but his sense of entitlement when it comes to watching 'his' team always sets my teeth on edge. Grrrrr

cakeandcava · 27/08/2012 11:51

Morning all,

blondie congrats on 10 years, and on well-managed sugariness! Excellent work all round :)

How's everyone doing today then -more vomming? You have my sympathies. I'm super impressed with all this excercise! I spent my first trimester wedged to the sofa eating crisps and putting on 11lbs

Just back from my 32-week appointment. All was fine -no sugar in urine this time. Minicakes has turned and his head is facing down, 'getting himself ready' according to midwife. Waaaah!!

HaveALittleFaith · 27/08/2012 12:20

No vomming here for nearly 48 hours! Confused I think it's because I've been eating better. Normal biscuits and tea seem to set me off. I really, really miss tea. But it's just not worth it! Interesting new sign, super sensitive to noise as well as smell. Need the tv down low.

Good to know all is well with minicake! Have you started buying stuff yet? I am being offered many loans of stuff from DSis which will be great. She may have another baybee but not for a year so we can use it in the mean time!

HaveALittleFaith · 28/08/2012 09:33

Eurgh. That is all.

How is everyone?

CamelKnees · 28/08/2012 10:04

Morning all

faithy general diffed bleurgh-ness or anything in particular?

I had a particularly sicky day yesterday but not feeling too bad today. Stil really suffering with a cold though - it's been over a week now and just don't feel like I'm getting any better.

On a more exciting note - have a mini milestone today. My phone appointment to ring up and get a booking in appointment. A bit of a palaver but vaguely exciting nonetheless.

How is everyone else doing?

HaveALittleFaith · 28/08/2012 10:07

Just diffed-tiredness. Have found that no tea and a higher protein diet seems to minimise my vomiting (good thing).

Good news about your almost appointment cam!
