Welcome back or welcome to all the lurkers Grin

Today I am EXHAUSTED!! Got to work for 7am instead of the usual 930-10 am start!! DP had to bring me in because my beloved Ka died yesterday after having a lovely relaxing spa day with a couple of pals. Relaxation kinda ruined!

Also I have feet in rib sydrome... and a severe lack of lung space as a result.

Our bedroom is coming along... although still not anywhere near where I'd like it to be! Even DP is getting sick of climbing off a futon in the morning (imagine it at 35weeks preggo, divvy!!)

Anyway, Dad is on the case of the Ka today... and I am sat suffering with fat feet and fingers at my desk... 6 days left in work after today... PHEW!

35 today Wink

OddEyes · 30/01/2012 09:44

So tired 3 hrs sleep, not ideal!

Xavielli · 30/01/2012 09:46

littlemonkeybix · 30/01/2012 09:51

Lost a huge about of show this morning! (Sorry if tmi) but im actually hoping labour doesnt start soon, DD has viral conjunctivitis :( typical! Think i had 'the clear-out' last night too :/

39 weeks today!

ZhenThereWereTwo · 30/01/2012 12:49

Good luck OddEyes :)

Sounds promising BabyC and Phlossie, hope to hear lots of baby news soon!

So our bedroom is decorated, got the furniture back in by midnight last night so that we could put kitchen boxes in front room.

They are starting kitchen tomorrow now so get to relax today which is good as I got to bed at 2am last night after watching Call the Midwife, which made me very grateful for all the medical advances made in maternity care since the 1950's!

Hospital bag is ready, feeling pretty pleased with myself, was much less organised last time :)

36 weeks today

louby86 · 30/01/2012 13:19

Good luck oddeyes

deardear · 30/01/2012 13:41

Good luck oddeyes and babyc - fx more babies.

I turned over to eager out of bed this morning and had a little rush of eater. Really didn't feel like I needed a wee so not sure if it was waters starting to go. Did the same about an hour later and had some BH and some light period pains but nothing more. Didn't sleep well at all last night but have had an hour on the sofa with a doggie foot warmer and a doggie boob warmer. Went to the loo 4 times yesterday which is a bit unusual but not squits.

DD2 started off like this. I yelled out in pain last night sat on sofa when he turned his shoulders in my pelvis. Was agony.

Sat watching episode 2 of CTM. Couldn't get into first episode but Miranda is fab in it.

If I have missed anyone out sorry but not long for any of us now and will need a post natal thread soon :)

notcitrus · 30/01/2012 17:55

Good luck oddeyes!

Just after posting yesterday they phoned back to say actually there was another test done which showed too much protein... so in fact I needed to see a consultant today and possibly get induced after all. AAAGH! So much for a nice snooze all day while MrNC took ds out. And of course dc2 now only moves for a few episodes a day, and couldn't find TENS or bf cushion, so I was panicking a bit.

However MrNC and I then found the TENS and lots of other baby stuff, have packed my hosp bag and I calmed down a bit.

Consultant today basically said my bp is exemplary, they just need to see if I have a mild UTI, but as long as I get weekly bp and urine tests (which my GP's nurse has agreed to do), then I'm released from their care until the 20th (40+1) when they may think about induction but probably just more monitoring.

Phew!

Though rather hope to give birth earlier, as couldn't walk to nursery today. Luckily some of the nursery staff are up for the idea of extra money for collecting ds in the mornings - some park almost as far as my house anyway!

PamBeesly · 30/01/2012 21:25

Good luck OddEyes

I'm with Ray81 little boy can stay a bit longer, I'm very nervous about being a mum. I can't believe that within a month little chops will be here...unless of course he is very overdue.

Good luck to everyone with 'signs' hope they are the start of labour for you :)

littlemonkeybix · 31/01/2012 05:04

Fingers crossed citrus

Im awake... heart burn and fat feet. just come downstairs for the sofa and I'll catch up on call the mw while im not busy!!

Poor little broken car should be fixed tmw... so only 2 days of silly lifts to work. And a dent in the pocket. So cba!!

Hope we're all ok XxX

Xavielli · 31/01/2012 10:37

Hope oddeyes is having lovely snuggles! And woowa has gone quiet too...... Babies babies babies!!

phlossie · 31/01/2012 11:00

Ooh, Babies.

I got my home birth kit in order yesterday - old towels, tarpaulin, angle-poise lamp, gaffa tape (for sticking down tarpaulin)...

babycarmen · 31/01/2012 22:32

Still no baby. The cot is up and looks adorable imo. :) I feel 'ready' to go into labour now, i had a bit of a wibble for a few days but i feel as ready as i ever will be! In fact im quite looking forward to it. I just wish it would hurry up, it feels like its never going to happen and im not even overdue yet! Id also like her to get a move on as DP is on his 3 weeks leave from work now so id like it to be sooner rather then later. I just cant imagine going into labour naturally because i was induced with DD at 37 weeks.

I feel really light headed tonight :( So off to bed i go, dreaming of my baby girl and staring at the empty cot! Come onnnn baby!

Another (lurking) bus-baby has popped. A sweet DS by CS. Posting from shoddy phone, so will save the finer details 'til we get ourselves safely back home.

Wow congratulations enraha! Lovely news x

Any news from woowa or oddeyes?

Sorry for crap short post - on phone in bed and hands playing up!

woowa · 01/02/2012 09:58

hello! Sorry for the delay, Raphaiah was born on Sunday 29th, 9.10pm, 8lb1oz, hooray and praise God, I didn't have to be induced. NOrmal sort of labour, after 9 hours, only 6-7cm dilated, MW broke waters, baby flew out :) Nice and speedy and no need to push. phew!!

Lots oflove to all, i will catch up on thread...

woowa · 01/02/2012 10:00

ps, tens was fab, for all those wondering whether to get one. Tens for 8 hours 50 mins, decided I'd save the gas and air for the last 3 hours, and in the end only had it for ten mins of labour - and then all the stitching, ug.

louby86 · 01/02/2012 10:07

Congratulations woowa Grin

QueenFee · 01/02/2012 10:08

More boys :)

Congratulation Enraha and Woowa
