Hopefully no one else has done it while my phone is messing about!

Bubs kicking manically was my prompt to leave work. Arghhhh so much to do and so little time left to handover. Oh well 12 working days left.

Looks like he's doing ok though. Measuring at 33 and LOA - what are the bets on him staying like that for the next 5 weeks give or take a couple :)

Mum2be79 · 29/11/2011 19:11

Lie in tomorrow, MW at 11am, rest of the day off to put my feet up (not really, things to do, places to be!), Antenatal class tomorrow evening and 2 days left at work! Replacement is doing more classroom 'stuff' so I can gather things together, sort out things and basically 'wind down'.

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 29/11/2011 19:14

Oeisha - my life insurance is only £6 pcm, but that would be enough for DH to get £3k pcm for 5 years, so not too bad if that helps you budget at all.

Mum2be79 · 29/11/2011 19:16

Just been to the right hand side of the page to the Most active list and apparently we're on it!

Says a lot!!! Grin

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 29/11/2011 19:18

We're on there quite a lot... Blush

FrillyMilly · 29/11/2011 19:20

Hello everyone. Room for a late arrival? I've not just found out I'm expecting but on only just found this part of the forum. I'm pregnant with DC2 and due on 17th Jan. I already have a DD who was 3 last month. I'm on maternity leave already. Started at 29 weeks due to being signed off for pretty much all my pregnancy thanks to hyperemesis and SPD. Baby was breech at last appointment but not sure if he's turned. Kicks dont feel as low down anymore.

So glad I don't have ante natal classes to attend this time. Found them so dull and didn't learn anything I didn't know. Hospital tour was worthwhile though.

Oeisha · 29/11/2011 19:23

Welcome frillymilly! Always room for more! Grin
Stats list if you wish to add your LO to it, by EDD. Or just work out when we're all supposed to be popping!

Mum2be79 · 29/11/2011 19:54

Hello Frillymilly

Apparently, we're the most active thread. Could have a lot to do with the speed at which our mouths operate. Of course I'm not one of those ....

Just a thought (can't remember who it was that pointed it out to me the other day on the previous thread) but I now have 33 days to go!!!!

ParsleyLion1 · 29/11/2011 20:36

Shock @ mum2be

Moobee · 29/11/2011 20:53

redhead the course wasn't that intensive and some of the time was spent learning massage techniques for during labour or relaxation techniques. That was fun. :)

I don't think I'm good at relaxation. We were told to imagine we were in a space suit floating through space peacefully and safely. Then next we were on a cloud. How can someone in a spacesuit sit on a cloud? Logic just disrupted the relaxation for me!

They mixed us up into different groups so we weren't working with our spouses for much of the time and that meant you could chat with the others easily. It was good.

cakes I'm sorting out a will too. I've been meaning to for a while and it seems as good a time as any.

oeisha I like your stats story - it always bugs me when people get stats wrong!

Welcome frillymilly!

fishandlilacs · 29/11/2011 21:04

Welcome Frillymilly :)

BigHotMama · 29/11/2011 21:23

Ahh lovely new thread with a cracking title!

Find it hard to keep up on here but when I go on ml I will definitely be more active on mn.

Been to mw app today and all is looking good. She said head is down - ceph long? And my ppbs result clear. Bump
Is measuring 32 wkd so spot on.

Got dh to take a pic of my belly to see if it had changed as definitely feels bigger but looks same size as when I was 25 wks? How bizarre? Also belly isn't fully out and rounded looks a little squarish?

Decided to opt for a VBAC if possible. Consultant said I will have regular sweeps to try and get me started around38-39 weeks to go into labour spontaneously. But the one thing I'm worried about is going over and being induced as it didn't work last time. She said I could have the option of elcs at 41 wks if no sign of baby as they wouldn't do another induction due to failing first time.

Anybody ever had a successful VBAC?

BigHotMama · 29/11/2011 21:26

Welcome frillymilly Smile

shonnomanom · 29/11/2011 21:28

giraffe love your chrimbo decorations! I will attempt some when I'm next on the laptop.

mum2be that was me, 33days to edd! Week! Shock

Welcome frillymilly pull up a birthing ball and grab a string of tinsel

I'm quite annoyed tonight. Had a close call at brownies. Found out 2 of the girls haven't told me about dietry needs and allergies. What's the point if health forms if the parents aren't going to fill it in properly?! Luckily the girls had the sense to sit out of the activity. [Shaking head at incompetence of parents]

Got the mw again tomorrow as they couldn't fit me in next week. What's the chances of baby changing position over night Hmm

sho maybe if you sleep on your hands and knees...... :)

FrillyMilly · 29/11/2011 21:44

You never know sho. Baby has been breech since 26 weeks. The other night he had a mad one. Was waking me up all night wriggling and now I'm pretty sure he's head down. Although I'm never certain. I will probably go next week to be told he's still breech just with long legs.

Nanny01 · 29/11/2011 21:45

LOve the title to. I'm hoping not to have this one till after his due date.

Nanny01 · 29/11/2011 21:47

Had melt down today as new sat nav didn't work and I got throughly lost. On a good note got a new little annorake for baby, minor achievement.

Baby is head down which was a relief and I am still amazed at the 10lb weight loss.

debs39 · 29/11/2011 21:55

MakesCakesWhenStressed have messaged you to ask you to add me to facey club...am feeling v alone and unloved right now as hubby gone to Cairo but the daft idjit hasn't phoned to reassure me that all is well....

mummyzoe2012 · 29/11/2011 22:51

hope all are fine, sorry not been on here in a while! x

shonnomanom · 29/11/2011 23:09

Hope you feel better after a good night sleep debs, how ling is dh away for?

Grin @ giraffe

This panda baby has been breach since 28w. Baby woke me during the night when he/she was renovating the living quarters.
Tbh I don't know that babys position is going to make much difference to what the consultant will decide given the pgp and the budha baby ...

debs39 · 30/11/2011 05:41

shonnomanom my story is worse than even I first thought...the flipping ignorant selfish idjit decided to visit friends before he flies to Cairo on Saturday for new job and didn't want to tell me as thought I wouldn't let him go...(erm...thinks to self - you live 3000miles away...our relationship is very much abut independence and trust or so I thought...) as his friends are UK rugby mates in Thailand for lads trip ( Dubai 7s is on dec 2 and 3 so they are doing Thailand and then over to Dubai ( idjit husband is in Arab Emirates working ) ) His phone has been turned off since Friday to so been unable to ring him and have been facebook messaging all his work contacts etc etc as was scared about Cairo situation and also he has had terrible problems with visas etc...and this can lead to being arrested and jailed over in UAE if paperwork isn't perfect..

Hopelessly incapable of covering his tracks though as fool that he is , i know his yahoo mail passwords so found all this out my stealth at midnight last night...including hotel details.

Let's just say, was able to get put through to his hotel room a short while ago and he appreciates the error of his ways....

Or does he...am I just a flipping idjit myself?

This has truly made me hate him and now my much longed for 2nd baby and Christmas with my darling little boy now seems so tarnished

addictediam · 30/11/2011 06:47

:( debs when does he get back?

My pushchair arrives today :o I'm very excited.
