What on earth are horselips??? I'm utterly fascinated.
Gosh, loads to catch up on again. I'm glad everyone's out of hospital and ok!
I've spent the day at home with DD, as she has a dreadful cough, and then yesterday her lips went blue very briefly. We were all set to go to a&e but it went away again in a couple of minutes and she was absolutely fine, so went to the doctor today and got told off for not taking her to a&e. oh well, we'll know for next time (and knowing our local a&e it would have taken until this morning to get her seen anyway!)
Went to Mothercare as I was, ahem, working from home, and came out with nothing other than 3 vests for DD! I'm in such denial about poor G2! So, in a nutshell, absolutely nothing in any form of bag whatsoever. It's lucky I'm not due till the end of Jan... On the positive, we did decorate the Christmas tree and all the decorations are at DD's height in a bundle together - the Christmas fairy may have a little reorganisation later!
frilly how did you get yourself down for a quick discharge? I'd have no problem giving up my homebirth (which clearly won't happen anyway and I do wish they'd stop lying about it), if I could guarantee a quick discharge (presuming all is well). It's the hanging round on hospital wards that I object to more than anything.
