De-lurking to say I'm so sorry, JJ. Pleased to hear that your dp and dd are looking after you, but totally gutted on your behalf. I really hope that you're able to look after yourself these next few weeks, and wish you all the very, very best for the future.

I was waiting to add myself to the list as I'd had a few scares in early preg - bleeding at 5 weeks and 7 weeks, and hardly any symptoms whatsoever - and even having had good results from today's scan DH and I have agreed not to make the news widely public until the 20-week scan. We'll tell parents at Christmas, but that's it. Still, very relieved that - for now, anyway - things look fine.

ceej I also have a near-useless supervisor. Am actually rather looking forward to sticking two fingers up by taking my maternity leave (AHRC funding) three months before my submission date - will extend things from September 2012 until March 2012, in which time I should keep my maintenance grant. Trying very hard to get as much work as poss done now, but am finding my concentration levels depleted not near non-existence!

Will go back to find the list now, and shall try to add myself to it without mucking things up...

Hello everyone, sorry i haven't posted in a while. I have been as sick as a dog the last ten days...15 weeks now so i'm a bit miffed it is getting worse rather than better!

jj I'm absolutely gutted for you. Can't believe it. I'd hoped we were all passed that stage and the risk was slim. I really hope you're coping ok and take strength from your DC.

Told work yesterday and they were great to big weight of my mind. Just trying to cope with the constant heartburn. Tiredeness is much less but think the amount I have to do before Christmas is bringing it back...and the tears!

Hope everyone else is ok...totally shaken by jjs news

ffnorm just read your post...appalled! That's an awful way to be treated. I would ring and demand scan sooner. I'm sure everything is fine but better to be reassured. Don't let them treat you like that.

jj I'm so sorry to read your news, as Warlin said, I can't really believe it, though I'm sure that's nothing compared to how you're feeling. My first pregnancy ended in a mmc so I have some idea what you're going through. The support I got via Mumsnet at the time was absolutely invaluable. If you want to chat, either about how you're feeling or about the practical decisions you may have to make about where to go from here, please just give me a shout. It's totally shit. I'm so glad you have your DP and your DCs there to look after you. Would you like us to take you off the list, or would you rather stay put for now? Just let us know and we can update if that's what you want. Sending you lots of love.

JJ I am so so sorry for your loss.

Captain nero on one of the other months threads after a couple of new threads they restarted the list and got everyone to re add themselves, that way anyone who'd stopped posted for whatever reason goes off it and those who post are easier to see :)
I think it is better to remove those who've posted that they have lost though.

Oh JJ I'm so sorry for your loss, as someone said previously I thought we had got to the 'safer' stage now, it's really shaken me up. I hope you get all of the help and support you need, we're always here for you if you need or want us!
