Plu thanks will have a dig around archives, it's not a paid thing just me trying to help her out on one of the days I finish work early. Good luck on the preschool search, sounds very promising that your DS loved the place. DD loves hers as well and has to be bribed to stay home when ill.

Honey & Cheap how are you doing now?

Seven How's Eva settling in at home? And also how are you doing?

kri5ty · 24/11/2011 18:54

cheep slightly late of my imput but I love brynn :) x

jomouse · 24/11/2011 19:03

Kri5ty - cup boob outside nipple in c shape and sort of press backwards towards your chest and round to get the ducts stimulated. Then squeeze a little to draw it out. You will see dark golden liquid. It's strangely satisfying!

kri5ty · 24/11/2011 19:14

Sounds confuzzling lol... will give it a go though!

OiMissus · 24/11/2011 19:42

Ok, have tweaked and done colostrum bit, have seen YouTube vid for reflexology points and done 5 mins or so poking of feet, have done sex bit Grin - baby will be here before breakfast, right?! Smile

HoneyLovesCake · 24/11/2011 19:49

fusam nothing here...still a bit sore but I think I was just too tired to deal with the pain, had a long nap & I feel better. Too tired to go into labour this week; need a week of ML first :)

For anyone considering natural induction methods I found these videos on youtube that look like they might be worth a go Oi on the vid about acupressure points she mentions a point that's supposed to help get LO to drop & engage Hmm.

cheeptrick · 24/11/2011 20:04

Hi

Contractions every 5 min but only for a few seconds and not strong and still losing lots of jellyfied mucus plug. I have called deliver ward and i can stay at home untill i have a blood show, my water brakes, the pain gets worse and i want pain relife or if the baby stops moving.

MW on phone told me that this could go on for days Shock I feel so unconfortable and i'm just waiting for it to get worse.

aethelfleda · 24/11/2011 20:10

If its every 5 mins I suspect they will get stronger and you head on in!!!

Good luck xxx

DarciesmumandBump2 · 24/11/2011 20:13

Cheep Good luck, sounds promising Smile

Oi Envy Sex? what's that again, I'm lucky if DP is in the mood. Welldone on all the rest too Smile

OiMissus · 24/11/2011 20:14

All the best cheep -hope things move quickly for you.
Yes, honey I was poking the bit to get the baby to drop, engage and go. We shall see! Smile

HoneyLovesCake · 24/11/2011 20:16

Good luck cheep. How exciting, looks like we'll have a baby by the wknd after all Grin Maybe you could try some acupressure to intensify your contractions?

cheeptrick · 24/11/2011 20:18

Thanks everyone Smile

We are just waiting now.............

I will go get some sleep soon as i think i will need it for later. I just hope this does not go on for days and it hurry ups.

HoneyLovesCake · 24/11/2011 20:24

Excellent Oi interested to see if it works for you as I plan on giving those vid's a go with DP next Friday if nothing's happened before then as he's taking the day off to drive me to the Orthodontist. Hoping to have one of the 2% of baby's born on their due date Wink

msbuggywinkle · 24/11/2011 20:40

cheep hope you get plenty of sleep, then are woken up by moe exciting contractions!

Can someone please tell my baby that she is not allowed to arrive until Saturday? Have had a couple of contractions in the last hour, but I want them gone!

KateM77 · 24/11/2011 20:52

Have a good rest Cheep

Oi! Miranda! Behave!....How's that for you msbuggy?

Having a bit of a rough time with DD's bowel problems at the moment. Just want her to be well, and it's making me panic about how I'll cope with her and a newborn if she's still this way when it arrives and I'm here on my own with the two of them :(

hawthers · 24/11/2011 21:00

cheep good luck - hope things continue to intensify and look forward to following how you get on.

HoneyLovesCake · 24/11/2011 21:05

Pleased to report GirlWithTheMouseyHair is also in labour; she hasn't posted on here in a while but she's on the homebirther's thread.

Earwigwam · 24/11/2011 21:18

Wow, it feels like I need popcorn or something with the number of babies that might be arriving soon.

Relaxing labouring vibes to all those with signs of things starting...

AwomancalledHorse · 24/11/2011 21:22

Good luck to everyone in/going into labour!
It seems we're like buses on this thread Grin

msbuggywinkle · 24/11/2011 21:39

Well, it worked kate haven't had one for half an hour now!

Actually, Miranda needs to stay put until after the 6th because I'm having my Blessingway then! My doula is organising it, so far it will include an artist friend doing a cast of the bump (& she has offered to paint the cast too!), I'm going to be henna-ed, we're doing wishes for Miranda which will be sealed up for me to read in early labour and everyone will be bringing beads to make a birthing necklace for me too. Then a pot luck lunch...I will be making large amounts of cake!

KateM77 · 24/11/2011 21:56

Pleased to be of service Grin

Hope you all have good nights. Off to hopefully get a decent amount of sleep myself now

plupervert · 24/11/2011 22:48

Blimey, I go offline for the afternoon, and look what happens!

HoneyLovesCake · 24/11/2011 22:55

The 6th is my birthday buggy & it sounds like you have a far more exciting day planned than I do Envy glad your contractions have stopped :)

jomouse · 24/11/2011 23:02

Wowsers! It's all kicking off on this thread. The November thread has gone labour mad too. Wonder if it's the moon or whatnot...?
Wishing you all the very best for safe and quick labours and births. Wishing a delay for mrsbuggy though

plupervert · 24/11/2011 23:15

Speaking of lunar events, I was looking at my diary this evening, and saw that my 40 week "deadline" is a full moooooooon.

I must have been very innocent, the first time, to imagine that I might get to 40 weeks, innit?
