Sorry for the new thread and crap name but i needed to start one oi how are you doing good luck xxx

I have fallen off the face of MN for a week or so and have loadsss to catch up on! I have been busy doing coursework and seriously nesting!!

PGP is awful, to the point of making me cry, finally got a pyshio app, but not for another 2 weeks :( doesnt seem much point. OH continues not to even attempt a massage if i ask and rolls his eyes.

Been having really bad shooting pains that take my breath away, but seems as though baby is head down (and very low) im guessing its a nerve he is on.

Very strange and TMI... but earlier (when i went to the toilet) i could feel what felt like the head bulging on the outside, through my lady garden lol... freaked me out!!

Good luck oi !! Fingers crossed

tye glad you took the sick advice!!

I'm convinced that this baby is not coming out until 42 weeks. Possibly induction required. But I'm not going to stress about it, because there is no point.

mopsytop · 14/11/2011 18:18

My date is a wished for, I bet mine will be really late too.

AWCH do not fear, I am no Bon Jovi fan either. My playlist will heavily feaure Ben Folds, Rufus Wainwright, lots and lots of violin concertos and lots of Shostakovich!

jomouse · 14/11/2011 18:28

Hello everyone,

sorelip I would definitely have had a tantrum by now if I was you. People are gits, just total gits.
tyel your music list has just totally inspired me. I was stuck for the kind of thing to get lost in. This sounds perfect.
I have my father and his wife staying at the mo. I feel rather invaded. DH is having to work late (which I think is tactical parental avoidance tactics) while leaving me to entertain and cook a massive meal. I would rather nest and cuddle the cats...
I am so jealous of the epi no progress. Sounds amazing. I need to get busy with the sweet almond oil. Is it too late to start at 37.5??
As for dates, I would like to hold out past Nanas funeral this Friday (one life leaves, one arrives etc etc) but my bump is still quite high so I'm thinking I may get to open an advent calendar door or two. Let's say 10th Dec...

Keep on truckin ladies. We are so nearly there and have done amazingly xx

DarciesmumandBump2 · 14/11/2011 18:31

AWCH I make cards to earn a little extra money so can make for any occasion. I've even made my own wedding invitations :)

Bon Jovi is yummy and music is brilliant - even better when live, up close & personal Grin

kri5ty · 14/11/2011 18:38

Today I have cleaned the house, sweeped all the leaves off the garden and path, batch cooked loads, and froze veg.... pooped now!

Hmm I haven't started with the massages yet... hopefully 4 weeks will be enough to avoid tearing!!

I am under strict instruction to call them if feel funny again it might just be excessive iPod use but sight just not right feels like when I wear my contact lenses better not be my glasses again I only got this pair in February. Massive hulk ankles have me with legs on a heavily cushioned side table for a footstool it's actually very uncomfortable sittig like this with bump and all.

I am officially putting head in sand over perineal massage and opting out. Did get some colostrum out last night felt very proud!

LittleMissFlustered · 14/11/2011 18:59

AWCH I have already demanded a new thread title:o

I am estimating January 13th if previous form is anything to go by :(

I predict 3rd Jan as that would make me a week over- and last time I went to 41 weeks and was SO impatient by that point!

Thread titles? How about The Only Way is Out, Baby! ( from the cheesy 1988 Yazz single of (almost) the same name...

DarciesmumandBump2 · 14/11/2011 19:13

Whats everyone having for dinner tonight?

The intensity of my cramps seem to have gone down, thankfully. Although cervix still feels slightly heavy. See what happens over next few days!

kri5ty · 14/11/2011 19:15

... ok so the weird vibration is happening again!

OP posts:
kri5ty · 14/11/2011 19:16

Glad they have calmed down darcies I'm having carbonara, made loads in one of my batches to freeze lol

OP posts:
DarciesmumandBump2 · 14/11/2011 19:20

Kri5ty Sorry to see you keep getting these vibrations, hopefully they will disappear soon.

I'm eating a bowl of Kelloggs frosted wheat cereals - bad heartburn :(

OiMissus · 14/11/2011 19:25

My early date is pure wishful thinking. My lower legs and ankles have had elephantisis since last Saturday. Trying to raise the legs pushes up the bump - not the best position for me either! Sad
Am knackered after being on the office today. No more. Working from home for the rest of the week. I don't want to be pregnant any more. I want pate and martini.
Another low is that the letting agency have let Springfield - the house we were wanting to buy! I left them my details for if they got new instructions and the ba**ards didn't call me. What happens if the renters decide to buy it privately and it doesn't come back on the Market when the owners finally get the deeds?!?Sad

High - must think of one to balance my whinging... My breasts are working, and leaving White milky stains on my black bra! ( had a tweak this week and soon had wet fingers, so that must be good.)
Just had a lovely bath.
Now going to make dinner in time for university challenge. Smile

No classics for me on the iPod, I'm afraid, it'll be James Morrison, arctic Monkeys, Paulo nutini, adele, the Raconteurs, and other stuff to sing along to. Bring on the cheese.Grin

kri5ty · 14/11/2011 19:26

It doesn't hurt or anything, just driving me mad as I'm the type of person that NEEDS to know what things are lol, it is prob nothing to do with pregnancy but it is so strange, they last about a minute and I can only feel them when I'm lay down relaxing!

Sorry about the heartburn :-( but I think I may have some frosties now!

OP posts:
OiMissus · 14/11/2011 19:27

Am also on pasta... Something with courgettes and mushrooms and garlic I predict... Grin

I've just had marmite on toast (anyone else a marmite lover?), which is the same dinner I have every night DH is at work late...don't see the point in cooking/defrosting for one

kri5ty, could it be hiccups? When I'm standing up/moving around Squatters hiccups feel different to when I'm lying down..more vibrate-y, like a shuddering?

Darcies, glad the cramps have calmed down!
I love making cards & general crafty-ness, but I'm not good enough to be able to sell them! Has your DD picked up your craft skills? I'm hoping LO gets interested in something like knitting/crochet so MIL can teach them a skill I can't get my head around...I can sew/dressmake but the very basics!

DarciesmumandBump2 · 14/11/2011 20:18

AWCH I LOVE Marmite :)

Yeah DD loves making cards with me. She has her own little craft set.
see here

can't stop sneezing!

DarciesmumandBump2 · 14/11/2011 20:21

*link is to some of the cards i've made previously for people.

sevensevenseven · 14/11/2011 20:54

darcies I'm fine now thanks. My BP went back up a little before I managed to get hold of my MW so I gave up in the end! I'm glad it wasn't anything too important though.

Another Bon jovi fan here, though I have to confess I'm a bit :( that JBJ is starting to look old.

Congrats on the colostrum figgy, mine is still elusive.

I've come across a potential BFing problem. I showed DS a woman BFing a baby in my pregnancy book earlier to get him used to the idea, he told me later he wanted to drink milk from mummies boobies.

DarciesmumandBump2 · 14/11/2011 21:01

Seven glad your feeling better. I'm sure DS will soon forget about the idea Smile

I think JBJ is still looking fine Grin I wouldn't say no lol

kri5ty · 14/11/2011 21:08

OK TMI but need help...

Finally got around to doing perineal massage (2 weeks late), and i can't do it! I can't get in a position to get two thumbs in!! My bump gets in the way, i tried squatting, standing, leg on a chair they just wont go in lol

I can get one in properly, but i doubt this will work??

awch i havent felt hiccups, it could be, kind of feels like a bee buzzing inside me for about a minute, then it stops!!

OP posts:
DarciesmumandBump2 · 14/11/2011 21:10

baby has got lots of hiccups right now! hope it stops soon.

DarciesmumandBump2 · 14/11/2011 21:10

Kri5ty can't help you sorry

LittleMissFlustered · 14/11/2011 21:16

aethel I'm still rooting for "we've got big bumps and we cannot lie (down comfortably)" from the Sir Mixalot series of posts earlier in the thread. Mostly because it makes me hum the tune for ages and gets me funny looks from the kids:o

No idea on how to do a solo perineal massage kri5ty you might have to rope your partner in. Which I can see going down well considering his approach to relaxing massage >_<

If any of you have an asda near you, they ave soe Eric Carle hungry caterpillar bits in the baby clothes section. Sweet!
