Omg iwish already???? Bloody hell!!!
I'm dreading the teething. I have the bonjela packed in case it starts on hols, not that it'll prob do a lot.

A jumperoo is a seat they 'stand' in with toys all around and, er, jump lol.
Meant to be the best toy ever according to some reviews. Have found it cheapest for £72 from play.com so far.

Yeh I can't believe it klou he's only 8 weeks old!!
Oooh I've just looked on the Internet and that looks fab, are you going to get one?

Went to baby massage today and didn't even get to join in!! Joshua decided he wanted feeding as soon as we got there despite being fed 45 mins before!

Who's on FB?

lizandlulu · 17/11/2011 18:35

i am i am i am!Grin

did you get a paper handout iwish? so you can remember what to do at home? i never get the chance to do it at home. i only really wanted to go for the experience and every week the teacher lady says 'and have you managed to do any massage at home elizabeth?' and every week is the same, 'no i havent found the time' Grin but at least i know that if i do need to try it, iknow half what i am doing. like i thought the teething routine might come in handy, or the colic one, but i didnt want to turn it into something i have to do every day.

MadKatz · 17/11/2011 18:58

We tried Colief but it doesn't seem to have helped. Hoping tomorrow works.

I'm on FB Iwish

Iwish · 17/11/2011 19:01

No they didn't give me a hand out but I'm going back next week so might get to take part lol.
Did violet enjoy it? Some of the babies were crying bless them. They were all. Wry shocked that he can hold his own head up, he was lay on his tummy looking around hehe.

Yey can I be your friend lol? I'll send you my name in a message and you can add me Grin

Iwish · 17/11/2011 19:03

Anyone who wants to be my friend I am Nikkie Court. Pic is me and Joshua.

melly did it bother her when she was 8 weeks or just when they broke through?

SpaghettiTwirlerAndProud · 17/11/2011 19:32

No it didn't bother her at all, she was just constantly drooling and chewing her fingers, and also got red cheeks.

SpaghettiTwirlerAndProud · 17/11/2011 19:34

Oh and the day before it came through she was as mardy as a smacked arse and all the following week she stayed mardy.

KLou111 · 17/11/2011 19:37

All these teething symptoms are what Euan has had for weeks hence we started talking about that powder in the pub a couple of weeks ago, but can't see any white it feel anything

KLou111 · 17/11/2011 19:42

SpaghettiTwirlerAndProud · 17/11/2011 19:45

Added you iwish :)

lizandlulu · 17/11/2011 19:45

i have found you, awaiting your acceptanceGrin

re the massage, i cant say she LIKES it, she tolerates it and sometimes cries, but i always pick her up. i dont just let her cry through it, i dont see the point of shes not enjoying it, and every single time i have had to stop half way through and feed her, sometimes i am just sat holding her for half an hour watching the other lady do it to her sonGrin

this week was faces, which the teacher said most babies dont like, but violet liked it!! she just doesnt like her feet being done at all.

only 1 more week to go and i have paid up, so i WILL be going! even though i dont really want toBlush

oh and i managed to track down some of those ashton parsons powders, after going to all the chemists in town, even the manky ones where the druggies go for thier methodone, i got the last box!

Iwish · 17/11/2011 20:07

I have confirmed you melly and liz Grin and yep I'm still there klou can see you Grin

Grin at 'mardy as a smacked arse' lol!! Joshua is pretty Mardy anyway so I'm on for a treat!

klou could a tooth be hiding away at the back? Or maybe they are just moving in his gums?

Did you have to pay for your sessions liz? Glad she liked the faces one, maybe she will enjoy the last one. There were 6 of us in our group and only 3 were joing in as the others were either crying or being fed.

lizandlulu · 17/11/2011 21:05

yes, it was £50 for 5 sessions, as far as i know there isnt any free ones in my area, although i havent been to any mother and baby kind of groups to find out these things, i just found it off the board in morrisonsGrin

sounds like you got a lulu iwish! she was so mardy i never could tell when she was teething cause she was mardy all the time! we used to say 'she will be better when she can sit up' er nope, 'she will be better when she can walk' er nope. 'she will be better when she can talk' hmm a little. but now shes 6 shes nearly betterGrin

Iwish · 17/11/2011 21:37

Lol liz. I can't believe how much of a whinge bag he is. He's just had a feed and been fighting sleep so v whingy and I've had to stand in his room in the dark rocking him to sleep!
Do you have sure start centres near you? That's where I'm having my classes. They do swimming too. :)

lizandlulu · 17/11/2011 21:52

i think there is one but not been yet. will ahve to look into it

Iwish · 18/11/2011 09:29

Have a nosey. Mine has a few different things to do, even just drop in play sessions for children up to 2 years old.

Well I am very proud of Joshua. Fed at 8:30, in bed by 9:10, up at 3:00-3:30 then up again at 7:15. All in his big boy cot lol.

KLou111 · 18/11/2011 14:07

Well done Joshua clever boy!! Fingers crossed it keeps up.

So far we've had 4 nights on the trot of more or less 12 hours less 20 mins in the night. Hoping it stays like that or gets better!!!

All packed for hols, getting excited now. Just bottles, monitor and a few other things on the actual morning to go in now :)

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 18/11/2011 19:32

good boy joshua!!!!

klou do you think you might whish you had satyed breast feeding for your holiday? thats the only real faff for me, i am fine when i am home, i have a system and can work fast and efficently, but take me out of my home i i turn to a gibbering wreckGrin are you staying in hotel or apartment?

violet slept all night last night again too. she went to bed 6.30 and woke about 6.50, but not fully awake till about 7.45. i leave her in her cot till then so i can get all my jobs done easier and she was quite happy blowing raspberries all on her own.

i have been giving her half a rusk mixed with about 2 oz of milk at about 4.30 and tonight she then had 6 oz of milk at 6.10 so shes gone to bed on a full tummySmile
