Any May babies?!

I only did it a test this morning and have not even told my husband yet!

I'm expecting our first child on 5th May which will be our fifth wedding anniversary. We're over the moon as it took us four and a half years to conceive and we'd already begun investigating fertility treatment. We are hoping and praying everything goes okay with the pregnancy.

Hi all! Had a faint positive yesterday but a BFP this morning!!! I already have a gorgeous, fantastic 9 year old son from a prior relationship, so this bubba will be the first with my DP!!!!! Very excited....!

I'm a May baby myself, as is DP. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I'm due around the 18th of May, which is two days before my birthday and 11 days after DP's!!! We've already said whoever's birthday it's born nearest to (or on!) gets to name it!!!!! We conceived on holiday in Ireland a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully this kiddo will get the luck of the Irish!!! ;)

Good luck to all the expectant mummies on here! I might be biased, but May babies are pretty awesome!!!!! ;)

I'm still only feeling a little nauseous if I need to eat; although I did wake up at 5am as the smell of my hair dye make me feel a bit pukey.

My 14mo DSD has been using my mahoosive, and now pretty sore, boobs as bouncy castles today - OUCH!

Very pleased to find this group and so many lovely May babies. I got my BFP last week due on 13th May.

Hi! I got my BFP last week. Not entirely sure of due date due to crazy cycles, but thinking it'll be around the 18th May. Still surprised and in shock!

Looking forward to sharing the journey to May with you all - hoping it'll be exciting and not too turbulent for us all!

Finally told husband yesterday - he's so happy & very excited.

I am feeling terrible, horribly nauseous & sleeping most of the morning. Somebody else mentioned pain in armpit... me too! What the hell is that?!!

Morning Ladies!
Just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant! Not really used to all the abbreviations yet, will need to look up some translations! I've been sculking around the TTC forums for the last few months, but only joined mumsnet this morning. It's so reassuring to read all of your posts - like a lot of you, I'm a first timer, so I've got absolutely no clue! Still, a little bit shell shocked and waiting for it to sink in. Looking forward to chatting with all of you!

Hello ladies!

Delighted to be able to join this thread, DH and I are expecting our first baby around 14th May. We are feeling over the moon as this was our first month ttc, although being newlyweds we have had lots of practice since our big day

We aren't sure of definite due date, as I have been on the pill for the last 9 years, I have been to the doctors and have an appointment with the midwife on the 28th.

No matter how good your life is (what with newly-wed activities...) it's about to get so much better. :o

Hello everyone. Haven't had any twinges today or yesterday which is good, although got me a little paranoid as still got very few symptoms. Did another test today and still bfp. Told both sets of grandparents and my sister today who were all delighted. My niece has ordered a girl, so we'll see! :) Congratulations to all the new ladies. Can't believe how many of us there are!

Congratulations to all the new people! So great to see so many people on here now! I haven't been on for a while as I sadly miscarried last week, I had a scan on Friday as had bleeding last weekend and there was nothing there :(Wishing everyone here happy healthy pregnancies!

*onlymydogunderstandsme" I'm so sorry to hear that. How are you feeling now? Take very good care of yourself, and although we might not be on this particular month's thread together, I hope to spot you on another one very soon.

mythical - nearly burst into tears myself earlier as the hoover started to play up halfway through cleaning my house. :s After banging it around and cursing it for a bit, I then realised the bag was full! Doh! Luckily DH just left me to it which was probably best, as he's on day 10 of giving up smoking! Sorry to hear your sad news only. :(
