I only did it a test this morning and have not even told my husband yet!

Caz so sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself. Take time to grieve for your lost lo and try to talk about it with dh. I know it doesn't seem like it now but you will be ready to try again soon and you will one day look back on this with sadness, but a huge grateful smile at the dc you will have. Please do look on the mc boards here as they are fab.

musicalmrs thinking of you too, hope all is ok. And skinny, hope the scan brings peace of mind.

Still v faint and nauseous here...prob the beginnings of anaemia which I had last time too, sigh :(

cupcakefairy · 03/10/2011 19:08

Oh and welcome missingmalibu :)

musicalmrs · 03/10/2011 20:57

Cacacaz, I'm so sorry. I hope you have a good support network around you, and that you're feeling as ok as you possobly can be, and are not in too much pain. Thinking of you.

After Cacacaz's news, it seems wrong to post mine.. but the scan went well today. A heartbeat, and a tiny splodge of a baby, measuring at approximately 7w+6. They suspect all the bleeding was even more implantation bleeding - although aren't sure why it went on for so long. It seems to have trailed off over the past 4/5 days, so hopefully it'll stay this way.

skinny, sorry to hear you're still going through it all. Fingers crossed all will go well with the scan!

Harecare · 03/10/2011 22:06

Cacacaz - I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm crossing my fingers for MusicalMrs and Skinny.

Hello to all newcomers, there must just be about 2 - 6 weeks left in this first trimester. Bring on the higher energy, less sicky 2nd tri!!

skinnymuffin · 03/10/2011 22:09

Fab news musicalmrs! What a relief :) Hopefully the next 4/5 weeks will pass uneventfully and you can look forward to seeing your baby again at the next scan x

Harecare · 03/10/2011 22:21

Oops, I didn't notice the last post was musicalmrs! Phew! You must feel so relieved. I can't wait to hear a heartbeat.

myweeangel · 04/10/2011 05:43

The insomnia is driving me mad. 6am now, awake since 4. My own fault, couldn't help falling asleep last night on sofa at 8pm...

Weird question - been having a strange tingly, almost vibrating (???!!!) sensation down below. It's happening as frequently as every 30 seconds or thereabouts so I'm assuming it's blood pumping??? Can't ignore it although it is very subtle! Anyone else???

myweeangel · 04/10/2011 05:44

PS Sorry for TMI!!!

SESthebrave · 04/10/2011 13:57

Hello! Can I tentatively put my head round the door?
I've been reluctant to post given the fact that I've had 3mc but had a v early scan this morning at 6+2 and everything seemed fine and we saw a heartbeat :)
I also have a gorgeous 2.5yo DS - he was a May baby too and I was on the May09 thread!
My EDD is 27th May and they've agreed to scan me again at 9wks on 25th October.

Really sorry to hear of some that have had bad news. I've been there and it is one of the toughest things to deal with. Take time to heal physically and emotionally and it does gradually get easier.

myweeangel - I was awake at 4am this morning and am now exhausted! As for strange vibration type feelings, I'm not sure I've experienced similar but at this stage I think practically anything can be a symptom!

Hello to all you other lovely ladies and fx for us all!

myweeangel · 04/10/2011 15:21

SESthebrave - welcome on behalf of us all! Delighted you got to see that little heartbeat. Seems like forever til 21st Oct when I get to hear it - all being well! I'm assuming nothing - and then scan isn't until first week of November.
Shall be going for a long walk tonight and then having a nice soak in the bath and lights out no sooner than 11pm. Sleep guaranteed surely??? Oh, for a glass or two of sauvignon blanc...

dreamingofanallotment · 04/10/2011 15:40

Hello SESthebrave! Congrats on seeing the heartbeat, how exciting!

I had my booking in appointment today - loooads of paperwork, lots of blood taken and weeing in a pot. Lovely! Have a huge stack of booklets to put on one of the many teetering piles of stuff in my lounge and forget about for a few weeks read now - all seems a bit more real! Not sure it will be completely real until my scan though, and I have to wait until Oct 29th for that. Around that date is also when I'll be moving house - I'll be the bloated bossy one telling everyone where things need to go!

myweeangel a long soak in the bath and early night sounds like bliss! I'm back from work earlier than normal because of my appointment so I'm very tempted to have a quick snooze on the sofa....Zzzzz...
Oh and can't say I've had the vibrating thing either!

Hope everyone else is doing well and not feeling too sicky/exhausted/sore booby/weepy/missing soft cheese&wine/insomniac-al (delete as appropriate!)

chocolatesparkle · 04/10/2011 17:58

Sorry to read all the sad news on here, thinking of all those who have miscarried, I know how it feels and it's horrible. Welcome to all of the newbies and congratulations on all of the exciting scans.
I have given in and booked a private scan for this Friday when I'll be almost 9 weeks. It is a lot of money, but after miscarrying last time I just cannot wait until 12 weeks, and know that I would be even more distraught if I got to my 12 week scan to find that there was nothing there. At the moment the only person that knows I am pregnant is DH, but if we can see a heart beat I cannot wait to tell my mum.
It's so hard when friends ask what I've been up to and I have to keep just saying 'oh, not much!' when intact there is so much I want to tell them, but I cant do fun things because I feel sick as a dog all the time.

Little9 · 04/10/2011 18:42

Hello all. Been too tired recently to look on here. Sorry to all those with bad news. Welcome to the newbies. Not much to report from my end. Have had extremely sore boobs for the last week or so, but nothing else apart from the sleepiness...oh, and if course wind! Still seems an age til my scan on 28th Oct. Got my fingers, toes, eyes and everything else crossed for everyone :)

Marmite123 · 04/10/2011 21:52

Got brown spotting today. Not too much so fingers cross, but had mc in May which started this way really so really stressed. Got a scan on Thurs anyway so unless it gets bad tomorrow going to wait for that.

It was all going so well with a heartbeat two weeks ago, so maybe it'll be ok.

mylittlemonkey · 04/10/2011 22:12

Am 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd am also quietly excited!

Elizabeth - yes I had cramps and period like pains for quite a while and have also had with this pregnancy too. Had some quite bad pains as well when got to about 15 weeks which were scary a tine but was told was everything stretching. Congrats!

myweeangel · 04/10/2011 22:22

dreamingofanallotment - all the best with the move, stressful I'm sure but lovely to have a new start as your family grows.

Marmite123 - hope everything goes ok for you.

Got horrible cold, feeling sorry for myself and worrying how on earth I would cope with dd and a new baby if I was sick. I know I'd manage and hubby is great but I'm feeling all daunted! Another 7 months to come to terms with the idea.

Also, anyone else having vivid dreams? I dreamt Andrew Lloyd Webber was taking me out on a date to see Phantom of the Opera. I hasten to add I am happily married and have never had any inclinations towards Lord Lloyd Webber before! Confused

PopEsMummy · 05/10/2011 07:55

I've been avoiding coming on here since starting spotting last week, congrats for all the newbies and happy scan results. So sorry to hear more bad news Sad.

Got my scan tomorrow at the EPU, hopefully everything will be okay. DH is convinced it will be and I think he's getting a bit fed up of me being miserable and pessimistic about it.

I think I've figured out what's been causing that intermittant pain in my side - bloating Blush. I might have to break out some more comfy (okay, fine, bigger!Grin) trousers because the pain is just where the waisband for my jeans sits.

Good luck everyone, it'll soon be 12 weeks!

SESthebrave · 05/10/2011 08:44

Morning all!

I'm feeling much better today after a better sleep. I was so tired yesterday, my whole body was aching.

PopEsMummy - will be thinking of you for your scan tomorrow. Hope all turns out well. Don't worry about waist bands, I'm wearing leggings a lot more these days Hmm

myweeangel - sorry for your cold. LOL at your dream! A L-W isn't exactly my idea of a hot date. Maybe you can improve tonight?!

mylittlemonkey - hello! I think there's quite a few of us expecting #2. It's a bit scary and I'm a bit in awe of those expecting #3 or more!

marmite123 - fx for you. The fact that you've already seen a hb is positive - hope all turns out well.

Off to the delights of Jo Jingles and Scallywags soft play today with DS!

Quenelle · 05/10/2011 10:26

Morning all.

Good luck to all the spotters with your upcoming scans. My spotting has mostly stopped now. Still feeling very sick, especially in the evenings.

Still no sign of my booking in appointment. The clinic answered my message last week and said the community MW would be in touch but nothing yet. I'm 10 weeks on Monday and I really want to discuss the nuchal fold test with her. I contacted the private hospital where I had it last time but they've stopped doing it. The hospital does it now but it takes ages to get the results, over a week. I don't want to wait that long. Will have to do some googling today.

skinnymuffin · 05/10/2011 13:10

A missed miscarriage. My epu scan today did not show a heartbeat, it looks as though that happened in the past few days. Just not meant to be.

Good luck to all of you and wishing everyone the all the best, and lots of lovely babies next May!

x Skinny

tostaky · 05/10/2011 13:30

Oh skinny, I'm so sorry to hear that. Best of luck for you, hope you will get lots of support irl.

I've been doing fine today, slightly tired, barely any nausea so now I'm worried bc I'm only 7 weeks....

musicalmrs · 05/10/2011 17:07

skinny, I'm so sorry :( I hope you have lots of lovely support around you, and that you're doing as ok as you possibly can in the circumstances...

tostaky, try not to worry about the lack of nausea! I've had hardly any (plenty of other symptoms, mind). I'm 8w+1.

PopEsMummy - good luck for your scan.

Marmite - Fingers crossed for you...

I'm doing ok. Feeling full of cold, and cold a lot...but surviving..

SESthebrave · 05/10/2011 18:02

skinny - really sorry to hear your news :( I wish I could find words to help but take time and talk to your OH and I found the mc boards on here very helpful. Sending you virtual hugs and best wishes xx

tostaky - I've had only what could be worst described as grumbling nausea and no more. I think for me with DS it was worst around weeks 9-11.

Quenelle - that's rubbish about your booking in appointment. I just phoned my GP surgery and I get to see a MW there when I'm just over 8 weeks. Hope you hear something soon.

SESthebrave · 05/10/2011 18:03

musicalmrs - sorry meant to send you good wishes too and get rid of cold vibes!

dreamingofanallotment · 05/10/2011 18:24

Skinny I'm so sorry to hear that. Hope you've got lots of good support around you. Best wishes.

myweeangel I'm with you on the dream thing - I keep waking up in the morning and just thinking WHAT?!?! Can't say I've ever dreamt that I'm going on a date with ALW though....!!

Sounds like there are a lot of colds doing the rounds. I'm trying to use my antibacterial gel at every opportunity as the children in my class are sooo coughy and sneezy at the moment! I do have a blocked up ear which is v annoying - midwife reckoned it is because you retain extra fluid when pregnant. I just hope it doesn't mean I'm half deaf until May!
