Hello good idea from tomcat

What are all your xmas tips and recipes or stuff you're doing to get you thru the next fewdays/weeks to EDD's

I going to try and make a stocking to hang in the nursery for when my little lewis comes home and for the first time bake a christmas cake.

LOL Minnie, if you don't get your shopping done soon you'd better hope it's me!!!

Kangel, hope you manage to get word to us somehow. It seems so sad to go through 9 months with you and then lose you at the last hurdle.

, thanks Nemo, knew you'd come up with some for me. Think the first one sounds a bit like I like my drink too much (although maybe I should choose it when you think how long it's been since I've had anything).
Think it has to be SantaGeorgeIsComingToTown.

I had this list from ages ago - it probably doesn't include everyone but hopefully most people - plus there are probably a few on here who have since left the thread.

I can't believe we actually made it to December! Remember how worried most of us were when this thread started! And now in either a matter of a few days or a couple of weeks we will all have our babies - it's sooo fab

Oh Sweetheart, you're in the final days. I'm soooo happy for you I could cry. But I'm at work so I won't. Gotta go beat up a deserving colleague... So crying would deffo be bad for the tough girl image.

Good luck to you!! (and to everyone else on here)

Nemo - can you make a tea of hot lemon and honey - perhaps slip a tiny bit of brandy in it?

I've added myself to the list, I know I know I have got my baby but my due date is still the same , and it may give you ladies who have weeks left to go some hope that it can happen much sooner than you expect.

I've decided that George must be going through a growth spurt as every other feed is 2 hours and he still takes the full 4-5oz what a fatty, not much good for my sleep though.

I will launch the Post-natal thread over the weekend so pop away ladies.

minnie, my tummy is horribly itchy all the time and cream doesnt help at all!! also iv had a funny itchy/ sore feeling in my palms which i put down to the carpal tunnel syndrome but the m/w said thats a sign of O.C so to get it checked out. if you are worried hun let your m/w know and shel send you for the test aswel. apparrantly its not a common condition and 99% of the time it turns out to be a hormonal imbalance which goes away by itself!! nowt to worry about really unless of course you are scratching all the time
