Hello! I've just found out that I'm pregnant and due on the 23rd March! I'm 29 and live in London with my husband, dog and cat. So far at 4 weeks things are going very smoothly! I'm very excited about going to the doctor (even if they don't care) as feel it will make things more real!
If you're expecting in March too please join the thread and share a bit about yourself and how your pregnancy is going!

Thank you everyone. I think more than anything its the 3d scan thats made it real. Its really amazing. Its a little early for it, think they reccomend between 24-28 weeks for the best photos but to see her in 3d live on the screen is awesome. Could see her sucking her thumb and everything. Not chosen names yet. Tho the mass shopping spree begins! Who's next then?x

Good luck both of you! I have to wait a full week for mine, I'll be 21 weeks then. Grrrgh! Are you both planning to find out the sex if you can? X

Carlitawantsababy · 03/11/2011 22:26

Not planning on finding out the sex - might ask the sonographer to write it down & put it in an envelope - a break in case of emergency envelope!
Will report back later this morning (up at this hour cus I woke up hungry! WTF?)

DorcasGailen · 04/11/2011 05:09

Ooooh i had to have midnight snacks last night too! Good luck with the scans today, looking forward to the updates!

Carlitawantsababy · 04/11/2011 06:40

Good luck ladies who are in for scans today. Sorry cant name you due to bloody internet issues. Best of luck. X x x x x x

knitterati · 04/11/2011 13:59

Thanks all

So... 20wk scan this morning :) Pics on Fb group, but it was just fabulous. Had the same lovely sonographer as before - explaining all the body part and what she's looking for etc. Everything growing as expected and enjoyed seeing the baby wriggle about, cover its ears, drink some amniotic fluid (yummy)?!

Didn't find out the sex - DH wanted to, I didn't, so we asked to to write it down and put it in a sealed envelope we gave her. So if I we change our mind, we have the option to find out. DH thinks he knows from looking at the images, but he won't tell me what he thinks bump is!

Can't quite believe we won't see bump again before it makes its' grand entrance into the world!

Carlitawantsababy · 04/11/2011 17:12

Baby is absolutely perfect and beautiful! It's a boy! GrinGrinGrin

Well done ladies. Glad it went well. Thats it now. We are half way thru, maybe more than halfway for some. Bring on the next 20 weeks. I cant believe we started this thread when we were 4/5 weeks pregnant and were all now having are last scans!

broodylicious · 04/11/2011 21:02

Evening all! I can't believe we're half way through either. Aren't we clever? Wink

Got our scan on Monday, sooooo excited after hearing your experiences Smile Anyone else got theirs on Monday?

I went to preggo yoga last night - has anyone else tried it? I absolutely loved it, it was fab. Think I might even take it up after baby is here, I found it so relaxing!

Carlitawantsababy · 04/11/2011 21:06

I'd like to try it broody, been thinking about it. Going to start aqua natal on Monday. Smile

You girls are all very good with your exercise classes, I'm counting DIY as my main exercise at the moment... I bet your baby will love the Aqua Natal, Carlita- mine gets excited enough just having a bath! So funny to watch my tummy leaping up and down!

Good luck for tomorrow, Broody any more scans next week? I'm on Friday.

X

Carlitawantsababy · 06/11/2011 11:03

kiki you can see the movements already? Wow, didn't know that could happen so early, how exciting! Grin

OP posts:
KikiRC · 06/11/2011 14:57

Maybe it's because my bump is very small? I can only see it when I lie down (i.e. in the bath) and when the baby is very active. Lovely though! X

KikiRC · 06/11/2011 16:27

I mean I only see the movement when I lie down, not the bump! X

Moffit · 06/11/2011 23:31

Congratulations knitterati and Carlita, glad that all went well with your scans!

Good luck for your scan tomorrow broody, I have got my scan on Tuesday and I can't wait! Smile

KikiRC · 07/11/2011 10:30

Good luck Broody & Moffit!! X

KikiRC · 07/11/2011 12:06

Oh, I meant to ask those of you who have had your 20 week scans- did anyone's due date change? X
