Hi everyone, just a quick hello , so tired and busy as Sam feeding every 2 hours, congratulations Sarah, well done on the due date!!
Don't know how you all manage to post still !!
Must find the post natal thread anyone any hints how I'm useless !!
Sam was born 8lb 14oz and on day 10 was 9lb 8oz !!
No wonder I'm tired !!
Lots of love girls x x x

BEKsmum · 04/12/2005 22:01

Yay congratulations Sarah, well done for being punctual and bang on your due date what a clever girl she is!.

Hope everything is going well for Chacha, sorry not to wish you luck but have been in wales since Thursday internetless!

Keep smiling Kristina & LilJ!

Well done Sarah, love the name too!

Sharon, hang on in there. I seem to be feeding lots too. Ella was only 10gms down on her birthweight on day 6. She'll be weighed again tomorrow & I predict a good increase, judging by her chipmunk cheeks!!

Chacha, hope the birth went well & can't wait to hear all about it.

Kristina & Lilj, my heart goes out to you both. Hope you're managing to keep your sense of humour.

Big hugs to you all. x

jinglediddle · 05/12/2005 07:40

RodeHoHoHo · 05/12/2005 13:49

sob sob

emilygrace · 05/12/2005 18:52

sorry wrong thread

LilJ · 06/12/2005 01:33

I knew it! I knew I'd be the last one standing!! My internet connection went down so haven't been able to keep up with everyone, but Kristina may also still be out there, but I bet she's had her baby now ...

So yes I'm still pregnant, but being induced on Wednesday evening if the rather vicious sweep the consultant gave me today doesn't take - will probably have a baby by Thursday?? He also estimated that the baby will be probably around 9 lbs - so much for the 0-3 months clothes my Mum brought over from the States.

Anyway having all the problems of being 10 days overdue - can't sleep, baby very very active, and can't really do anything as too bl**dy pregnant. On the bright side I am now a whole two centimeters dilated (only eight more to go!) and having regular, but not very effective small contractions. Am beginning to lose the will to go on, but I know that when the baby does finally decide to come out to play I'll forget all about how frustrated and grumpy I am now.

I'll keep you posted ... probably will have to let you all know on the post-natal thread as no one will be left here .

Anyway ChaCha - I hope you have a wonderful little baby now and congrats to Sarah Sausage and Kristina if you're still out there just know you're not alone!

J xx

RodeHoHoHo · 06/12/2005 09:27

Aw, LilJ, we thought you'd popped!! Just think though, this time next week you'll at home with you're little one, it'll be lovely

If the sweep's not worked already, hope the induction goes well on Weds. Good luck! Looking forward to seeing you on the other side!

Kristina, I think you've probably popped now, hope everything went well and you're enjoying your newborn little boy. Looking forward to an announcement soon!

mincepee · 06/12/2005 09:31

Any news from ChaCha?

Kristingle · 06/12/2005 09:53

Good morning everyone? Supect i am talking to myself now... oh well, always knew i was a bit mad. Lil, if you are still out there, all the best for tomorrow. Hope the induction goes Ok. Sorry your sweep was so nasty but maybe it has worked by now?????

I'm trying to be positive and see this waiting as an opportunity to get lots of Christmas things done. Fortunately I am still able to sleep ok (toddler permitting) and i know that will be a rare luxury in a few days......

Off to do some more bits of Christmas shopping. Why is there always soemthing else to get??

BTW the Italians know nothing

tessasmum · 06/12/2005 11:20

LilJ - you should be fine with 0-3mths for a while, just ditch all the newborn stuff, it will never fit
Then again I've never known a consultant get it right yet. Anyone willing to bet this one gets it right?

Hope contractions pick up a bit and the baby does decide to come out and play soon, if not then good luck for Wednesday.

Kristingle - know what you mean about Christmas but then I still haven't got much. Keep buying nice food when we do ordinary shop so we won't starve but there's not much in the way of presents yet!
Hope the shopping tempts the baby out

goldenoldie · 06/12/2005 19:17

LilJ - look forward to you joining us. We've already started out post-natal lunches sans babies at Giraffe. Hope you will be joining us soon.

LilJ · 07/12/2005 07:33

Well the baby now has 12 hours to come before I'm induced. Last evening around 5 pm started having fast and furious contractions - 4-6 minutes apart. Rang hospital who said to take some paracetemol and take a hot bath and by 10 pm the contrcations had all but worn off. Still having mild ones and have been having spottings of old blood, but not enough going on that I'm actually in active labour - arghhhhhhhh! Would prefer not to be induced, but at this point anything to get this baby out!

Any news from ChaCha? Kristina - how you holding up? I'll check the post-natal thread to see if I really am the only one left!

Golden Oldie - looking forward to seeing you at Giraffe - yummy! And right off the bus for me!

J xx

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 07/12/2005 08:07

Good luck girls (the few that are left).
Here's to bouncing babbas and lovely easy labours xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Big Congrats to the ladies who have had theirs. Must admit, be very sad to see this thread go. Before we know where we are there'll be another but I'm sure the girls won't be as fab as the ones I met on here.
