Wow, that's brilliant news scrambled!! Can't believe baby was missed so many times but you must be so relieved.

Spagbolagain I have the week by week pregnancy book too! I love it, but have been too scared to read past the weeks 6-10 chapter in case it brings bad luck! So silly, I know. However, tomorrow I will be 10 weeks so can start reading about the next few weeks ahead, very exciting!

I actually vomited for the first time on Monday morning, once before my shower and then again after it. Not very nice and was late to work! Since then have been feeling really nauseous. When's all this supposed to die down again? Is it 12 weeks ish?

scrambled - great to have you back. What good news! Although not cool to have to go through that rollercoast first. Anyway, I'm glad all is well. Smile

Can't wait for my scan (a week on monday) - just want to be reassured things are ok. Don't want to tell people at work until then although I'm getting fairly rotund so i'm sure some of them must have guessed but thankfully are too polite to ask!

Hi every one I had another scan today 10 plus 4 and saw our bay moving his/her arms and legs really active baby. Dh and I were so pleased. I will have my nucal fold scan think next week but the sonographer asked if she saw anything would we want to know. She had a look and our baby looks good. The bleed I had there is a little more blood pooled there but she thinks that isn't a problem. So all is good and also got new uniform for one of my girls who will be starting a new school in September and also picked up elder son from his secondary school visit as well. A very good day for me though ended up falling asleep for 2 hours this afternoon as I was shattered. afterwards.

forgot to add the sonographer thinks I might have the beginnings of fybroids joy!

Thanks everybody. It really was a rollercoaster week.

Spagbol I've no idea where it was hiding. But I reckon it was down to an old ultra machine. Or I'm sprouting trees in there and baby was behind one.

Bellakins my morning sickness subsided around 12 weeks last time round. Fingers crossed yours will too.

Nanny what are fybroids? Must remember to google later on.

DH is after getting drunk on my behalf. He'll be feeling the morning sickness in the morning :)

Hello everyone! Can't believe we have filled a whole thread!

scrambled that is such awesome news!

I have the pregnancy bible and finding it very useful. Did anyone else get the purple book from the MW? I thought it was really quite good without too much detail - might be worth getting DH to look at it ?

Counting down to scan now - booked for 27 June. I am sure this will all feel a bit more real then, even if the nausea, exhaustion, tears at everything and hard little belly haven't convinced me!

What an emotional time you must have had scrambled! I'd have been a gibbering wreck. So pleased the camera shy bean turned up safe & sound :)

I was well impressed with the NHS book - have been eating peanut butter since I read I was allowed in there on Monday :) the leaflet the surgery gave me said no.

I'm feeling superstitious about buying a book so I've done a deal with OH that no books until after the scan.

Went to the hygenist today for 6 month tooth scrub - gums bleeding all over the place! She said it's hormonal. I have to go back in 4 months rather than 6 as she doesn't see people more than 6 months PG because you can't sit in the chair properly or comfortably.

SlightlyScrambled - that's the best news, congratulations! I've been holding fx for you and I'm so pleased! What a tricksy bean you have hiding out like that lol!!
D0gFace - have a look at 'What to expect when you're breastfeeding' by Clare Byam-Cook. It's brilliant and really helps to explain it all. I didn't manage to bf and was utterly devastated at the time and it was my brilliant mw who helped me to stop when the mastitis got so bad. Turns out our dd has hypotonia so poor gal didn't have the strength to suck although it was nearly 18 months before she was diagnosed. She's a total bruiser these days so if I can't manage next time I will be much more gentle on myself!

fishandlilacs I hope you're feeling better after some sleep, I was I'll with a cold a couple of weeks ago and I felt bad enough without any other problems.

I have brilliant nails for the first time in my life. I keep strumming them on tables which is a novelty (usually they're short).

Welcome k4mi!
