Quite exciting for me, although less so for you guys as you don't know her but SiL finally had her little girl this morning. 8lb 13oz. Scarlett Eliza. And now I can breathe a sigh of relief as she hasn't used any of my possible girls names. In face I ruled out Scarlett (even though I like it) on basis we already have a Will.

Massive congratulations to Twinks, sounds like a fab birth. And I hope Laurie is snuffling as we speak. It's so very good to get to share the joy after having shared so much of the heartache to get here.

And yay for Gaganiece, especially with lovely but not-already-chosen name!

Congratulations on Auntieness gaga

I have seen the consultant today, he was the nicest man I have ever met and I love him a litttle bit. All signs so far are very good but I will be having a late late scan in two weeks to make sure. biteybach showed his appreciation by doing some lusty bladder kicking but I didn't pee myself while he examined me Then I did a tour of the birthing centre, it was lovely! Spotlessly clean, no beds just ergonomic couch things that you can lie on, sit on, or kneel next to, birthing balls, hand rails everywhere and no sign of any medical equipment (although it is all there just hidden away). Also had a nose around the pool which was also spotless. It was nice and cool there as well considering it is blinking hot today. Hopefully be heading there in a few weeks. Eeeeeeeeep A few weeks! Holey Moley!

AuntieGG lovely name indeed but glad she hasn't chosen one of yours; I worried about that too as my SIL had a baybee in April and we didn't know if it was pink or blue. Thankfully it was pink so name-stealing not an option.

I'm desperately in need of news this morning, yesterday not only was loz about to snuffle, but an old uni friend's waters broke 5 days early. She's a BESH too.

I think Scarlett is a beautiful name - vetoed this end, but also possibly inappropriate for my boy-baybee.

Birthing centre is lovely and I was really relieved which is a sure fire guarantee that I will end up in the manky labour ward which has blood stains up the walls! Won't take the dettol wipes out of the hospital bag just yet....

I ordered these blinds last night for the baybee's room. Hoping they will go with all the pictures of trees and birds and all things woodland. I can't decide if they are bit girlie though?

Gives careful consideration to calling biteybach Scarlett in order to provoke ski .
