YAY for Rocket and lovely little Leafette. Sorry to hear about the BF-mare; hope you get the help you need, my lovely. I think I should hand over my DHB badge, Rocket, cos I couldn't have got through my Sytocyn without my epi. Mind you, a fucktarded junior consultant turned mine up to 36 instead of 12, which no-one noticed for an hour and a half (5cm to 10cm in that time, woah) so it was probably best I had one (this, and other exciting details, may be available in the CRESH some time today - if I can stop staring at Mr T long enough to do anything).

I bought 6000 muslins but Mr T isn't a possetty baby.

Loz, I hope something works for you soon. Those last days are uugggh.

Medee · 27/05/2011 12:27

ouch, scorps.

CurlyCasper · 27/05/2011 12:36

I figured that it was all the staring keeping you away scorps Grin How is the lovely MrT today? and when do we get more piccies?

On the Muslin front, I bloody love them! I had a refluxy baby, but even now, with that long behind us, I never take her out without one. They're great for dribbles, snot, food - anything you can mop. At one point Squeaks preferred to sleep with one over her head (I quickly decided it was safer to peg it to either side of the cot in a muslin-tent fashion) and it's never too early to start muslin peek-a-boo. We still sometimes drag them slowly across her face to calm her down. Magic little cloths! Oh, and you can break a Karvol capsule onto them and tie to the cot/basket. And swaddle a tiny baby on a hot day. Hmmm, time for a book on 101 uses for a muslin in baby's first year...

Great packs of them in Tesco and Asda. Cheaper than Ikea, but more plain. All work just as well though.

rocket I hope you've had some help this morning.

CurlyCasper · 27/05/2011 12:37

and Angry at the buyer gaga. My theory is that you always end up hating the other party when it comes to house buying and selling.

CurlyCasper · 27/05/2011 12:44

sorry for the cluster post, but I have just seen the MrT pics and I am melting! And scorps looks far too fabulous for one who has just had a baybee Envy

Ivegotmrbitey · 27/05/2011 12:49

Thanks casper Tesco has a 12 pack of plain white ones for £5.78. That's more like it!

Happy staring score Smile

LadyGoneGaga · 27/05/2011 15:18

The pics for MrT are soo lovely. He's so wee. You forget how little newborns are. and I agree with CC, Score looks so well!

Good shopping skills Bitey.

Want to go home now. Had enough work. ML starts 4 weeks today!

Medee · 27/05/2011 16:42

He is so teeny. Can't believe how quickly they grow.

Ivegotmrbitey · 27/05/2011 19:14

Skaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! What a cutie!

CurlyCasper · 27/05/2011 20:23

bitey does that mean you are on FB?

I have just been flicking through the MrT pics again and making MrCasper go "aaaaaaaaaaah"

Ivegotmrbitey · 27/05/2011 20:37

Me too curly! The FDH is clucking like a happy hen Grin Yes am on face crack, I'll PM you a link if you don't mind being stalked want to be friends?

CurlyCasper · 27/05/2011 20:37

A BESH can never have too many friends! Smile

Ivegotmrbitey · 27/05/2011 21:00

Quite right! Have PM'd you Smile

CurlyCasper · 27/05/2011 21:47

Ta, I've just sent request, after a technical delay! Forgot to write a message though.

Scorpette · 28/05/2011 00:52

Eye test appointments/tenners in the post for all your lovely flattery - esp. as keep getting upset about how rank I look right now. Still, Mr T keeps looking at me like I'm the most amazing thing he's ever seen (the feeling is mutual), so that truly is all that matters to me.

He's been asleep for 5 hours after a mental clusterfeeding avo, but haven't been able to sleep myself for more than 2 hours. Nightmare clusterfeed night ahead too, I bet. I can't sleep because I want to look at him all the time to a) drink in his beauty and b) check he's all right. You've got all this to come, laydeez (and it's wonderful!).

owlbooty · 28/05/2011 10:24

I have muslins! I will probably buy some of the cheap ones from tesco as well though. About 6000 required, yes? :)

Scorps Bloody hell and ouch. Junior doctors are not to be trusted and I think I shall get a MW to check anything they attempt to do to me should I end up in the hospital - I do not trust them an inch.

Also; SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I cannot believe how dinky and gorgeous the Lad is. I have just melted into a puddle, no wonder you can't stop looking at him Grin

GG That is just rubbish. Last time I sold a house the buyers faffed for almost 5 months - I was actually ready to wring their necks by the time we completed. I hope that they see sense and stop faffing so you can get settled before TinyG turns up.

MadameBoo · 28/05/2011 10:26

Just been squeeing all over your pics Scorps :)

Ivegotmrbitey · 28/05/2011 12:33

Sounds like the mutual adoration society is going well there scorps, in fact it sounds bloody fantastic! If you could manage to look a bit more exhausted and less radiant in the next batch of pics it would be muchly appreciated as you are setting the bar impossibly high for us spottier mortals!

I have solved the muslin problem too, am just going to steal all of owlies Grin

Scorpette · 28/05/2011 17:02

Send me some more luffs, pliz; have to go back to hossie cos my BP is dangerously high, so need to be monitored. Oh, and my episiotomy has torn open, which is a barrel of laughs, pain-wise Smooches to all and hey... where is Loz? Wink

LadyGoneGaga · 28/05/2011 17:15

That's rubbish, Scorps. Hopefully you won't be in for too long and it is just precautionary. And how have you managed to split your episiotomy? Not been back shagging again have you? Seriously though, sounds ouchy. They're sore enough without that. Big hugs and get well soon and give MrT a snuffle from me.

I've decided I can't resist the nesting urge any more - move or no move I have retrieved MiniG's newborn stuff from the loft plus the two new outfits we have bought for Baby Gaga and they are in the washing machine as we speak. Plus a dozen muslin cloths. Did feel a bit teary remembering MiniG being so little. Want to pack my just in case hospital bag. Have cleared my bottom drawers so they can all go in there for time being. Going to leave the whitening of the nappies for a really sunny day so they can get nicely bleached in the sun. And I won't use cloth until all the meconium has gone anyway.

How is everyone else today?

OP posts:
laurielou · 28/05/2011 18:05

Scorps Boo to the high BP & ouch to the episiotomy. Hope you don't have to stay in too long. I've only just recovered from major league squeeee-ing at pics of Mr T. He is GORGEOUS!

Well, I have one lazy / comfy baby, who doesn't seem in a rush to be going anywhere. Sorry for lack of posting - I'm just not up to very much. In fact today has been muchos lazy - lots of lounging around watching crap TV & reading. Mr Loz went into work for a few hours to finish off one piece of work - he has now given me permission to lay as he's in a good work position.

I've been on raspberry leaf tea, pineapple, bouncy ball, reflexology yesterday - which was A-MAZE on my poor swollen feet - & Mr Loz is going out to pick up a curry soon. Am doing my best Grin

Hope everyone else is OK, x

LadyGoneGaga · 28/05/2011 18:34

Maybe Bug would like to be a June baybee, Loz? June's a lovely month too. Enjoy the lazing about - sounds like perfect pre-birth preparations to me.

OP posts:
Muser · 28/05/2011 19:37

much luffs to Scorp.

Ginfox · 28/05/2011 19:53

Luffs to Scorpetta. Glad it wasn't just me wondering what you were up to when you burst your stitches Wink

Glad you're ok Lozza. Sounds as if you are now expert at chilling out.

Medee · 28/05/2011 21:23

Oh dear, scorps.
