Grin booty. didn't fucking work though...

LadyGoneGaga · 08/06/2011 12:36

Wow Loz - wasn't expecting that! Really hope Bug is not been naughty and fannying about for you. If they do ECV though surely not much room to turn at 41 weeks? But sounds like you'll have that baby really soon Grin. Good luck with it all and will be thinking of you.

Orcs congrats on last day of work - and enjoy the birthing workshop. I really enjoyed my last one.

Bitey I just ate an entire Easter egg. I too haz ham arms. And fat thighs. And a big cellulitey arse. And happily watched Embarrsssing Fat Bodies the other day without vomming as it boosted my self esteem .

I am very excited. Horrid buyer has accepted the £2000 and promises to complete on 24th June - two weeks. Will be almost 36 weeks pregnant which is just about doable. Hurrah. There WILL be room at the inn and hopefully will not have to give birth in the moving van

tanquerayWitch I have voted, I think. It took a very long time to go through so may have to try again. Very good suggestion re: the CD.

gaga Huzzah for stupid buyer coming through! Although if your waters were to break on their carpet as you were leaving would that be such a bad thing? Wink

The thing is, I knew abut the fat thighs, and terrifying arse but I didn't realise about the ham arms until I saw a pic of me at a friends wedding last week. It's been quite a shock and I have had to have a rice puding and some sesame snaps for medicinal purposes.

occie you've probably finnished by now! Enjoy your workshop and the start of you ML!

Ocarina · 08/06/2011 12:54

Hurrah for stupid buyer getting their act together. Hope MicroG has got the message about definitely not even thinking about arriving early!

Sorry the mw didn't bring better news Lorry, thinking of you as you find out what's next. But excited that Bug will be here soon, whichever method of arrival into the world s/he goes for.

Thanks for shopping list suggestions, I'll make a list! I suspect my sister will have far more ideas than me about things like breast pads and Lansinoh and all the other scary things I've been not thinking about.... I'm wondering how many things we can buy to scare TH with when he returns from his work trip.

Hooray for last day of work Orchid - can we add you to the clusterlay now?!

ginhag · 08/06/2011 13:00

Cheers mate. They are a fucking great band and I really want to see them go far. I really think they've got what it takes, just a case of getting the right exposure I think. Hence me shoring myself around mn.

ginhag · 08/06/2011 13:00

WHORING obv.

LadyGoneGaga · 08/06/2011 13:08

Have voted as enjoyed Gin's whoring Grin

good lord loz talk about throwing it all in to the mix at the end Shock

all the best for the hossie, which ever way it turns out.

LadyGoneGaga · 08/06/2011 13:37

Have just heard, following her sweep yesterday, SiL is now contracting too. Only 20 mins apart at the mo but it's a start! How exciting - will be lots of babies very soon Grin.

OP posts:
Ginfox · 08/06/2011 13:41

Lozza fingers crossed that Bug has assumed the correct position, and the midwife with tiny hands is wrong. But whatever happens you are going to meet your baybee very soon. Yay!

GinHag have voted - not just because it's you, although it helps - but I watched the YouTube clip and they're just my kind of thing.

LadyG huzzah for stupid house-buyers finally giving you a break. Although giving birth in a stable and having to put baybee in a manger would make for an interesting story (sounds familiar. Has that happened before?). Also how did you manage to not eat the Easter Egg before now?

Yay to Orchid for last day. Hope you got spoiled at work, and are now commencing Operation Chill Out.

Truffers up until 20wk scan time seemed to be passing very slowly indeed. But since then it has gradually sped up, and now a week passes frighteningly quickly. Hope it slows down again when FoxCub gets here.

LadyGoneGaga · 08/06/2011 13:46

Was actually MiniG's egg . But children don't appreciate chocolate like I do.

OP posts:
owlbooty · 08/06/2011 13:59

I could not do the voting thingy as it demanded I allow something access to my profile and I am a highly suspcious luddite type person Grin

GG Thank fuck for that. They're clearly still a bunch of bastards though for messing you around. I am jealous of your easter egg consumption and have long since stopped caring about the dimensions and weight of my thighs or arms. Think of it as having saved MiniG from Bad Food Consumption. See? You did a heroic thing today.

Ivegotmrbitey · 08/06/2011 14:17

Yes, owlie is quite right GG. Little boys' chocolate consumption needs to be strictly monitored.

Scorpette · 08/06/2011 15:03

Loz - just remember the timeless adage: All is well and all is well and all manner of things will be well. Whatever happens, you and Bug will be fine and snuffling together pretty soon :) Things not going to plan don't matter when you hold that baby in your arms - take that from a master control freak who just had to go with the flow. And Bug might turn round of his/her own volition at any mo and their attempts to turn him/her might work a treat, so I'm sending you hellastrong vibes for a turny baybee. Keep positive and know we are all here for you And I second taking some stuff in that reminds you of home; even if you can just see the book you're currently reading poking out of a bag or something like that, it really does help.

Hope your last day is a breeze, Occaroonie :)

Scorpette · 08/06/2011 15:06

Oooooh, yay for *GG's' SIL! :)

owlbooty · 08/06/2011 15:12

Bites I'm in the Ford of Ox so I doubt even your bingo-wingage in the making can send a breeze that far but I shall check next time I go past The Motherland and see if the Severn Bridge is still upright Grin

Btw talking of ham, there seems to be a thing on here about 'nice ham'. Anyone?

Also, I am finding myself sniffing things. In a weird and unsettling way. Is it wrong that the cuff on my BP monitor smells appealing to me?

Forgot to say earlier - Orcs hoorah for the last day! How very, very lovely that you can put your feet up at last.

TwinkleToes76 · 08/06/2011 15:30

Afternoon all - our baby girl arrived in the birth pool at home this morning after a 4 hour labour. She's a bit of a whopper and bloody beautiful! Am utterly in love again but totally knackered.

Thinking of you Lorry x x

CurlyCasper · 08/06/2011 15:37

wow, quick work Twinks! Well done and many congrats. Another little girl, hurray!

Ariesgirl · 08/06/2011 15:56

Well done Twinks and congratulations!! Four hours? In the pool? At home? I love it when a plan comes together...

Ginfox · 08/06/2011 16:00

Great news Twinks. And 4 hours! We need more easy sneezy - or at least short - labourings (me pliz!)

AlpinePony · 08/06/2011 16:03

twinkle Grin Well done you - sounds like Clucky (who only managed to post her magical birf story today) is soon to be ousted by you! I am so thrilled for you because of everything you went through to get here. x

owlbooty · 08/06/2011 16:23

Oooooh Twinks congratulations on the home water birth & arrival of MiniTwinks :)

CluckyKate · 08/06/2011 16:41
