So who is due February 2012?....

Im due 1st February with baby number 3!....Already have 2 Sons, age 8 & 4....

Found out on Monday :)

louby I found eating helped. Bread sticks are great and v portable - easily stowed in your workbag! I ate loads of oatcakes last time. I found it useful to have something on my bedside table to eat as soon as I woke up, before I'd even got up. TBH, ginger did SFA for me and I would cheerfully have punched the next person who suggested it! Hope it settles soon - it is so miserable.

Bloody hell you go away for a couple of days and you miss loads of stuff!

Well the sickness has kicked in with a vengence, not so much on a morning, but come teatime till bedtime, I am absolutley green. Must get some ginger ale to see if it makes a difference. I'm living off dairylea slices on jacobs crackers at the moment, I can't seem to get enough of them!

Had to go and start looking at some maternity clothes the other day as I an living in leggings for work as I just can't get into any work trousers, my stomach just seems to have given up, even though its years since I was last pregnant.

Have seen this which might be handy if I get it in a bigger size, then I can just wear with a vest top/cardi when I'm at work and it will hopefully sit under my bump without too much trouble. I can wear it all summer and I won't have to shave my legs

Am very of this with scan dates! lucky buggers, I have yet to see midwife or doctor.

Agree about nibbling and sipping to keep sickness at bay. Had a stash of crackers, biscuits etc in my desk drawer, and a drink on the go at all times. I like herbal teas, smoothies, and also drank a lot of milk. This time I really like chai rooibos tea, basically spicy redbush. It takes the edge off the greenness. Am trying not to snack on or drink sweet stuff too much this time as my teeth/gums will suffer but carbs e.g. a slice of toast, a cracker, are good if I need something mid morning or mid afternoon.

I sold all my baby stuff last year as thought we were gonna stick with one.. Oops.

madeindevon I have also got rid of all our stuff, am hoping that friends and freecycle come up trumps!!

Oh my, busiest bus ever! I've not been about for a few days and its mobbed...have been suffering with a tummy bug, either that or I'm manifesting a whole new pregnancy symptom of never being able to leave the toilet. I guess it beats feeling sick all the time!

I've got a lovely ginger and lemongrass cordial, which seems to be taking the edge off the nausea a bit, and its not overpoweringly gingery.

I'm quite jealous of all you first timers...just so exciting! Not that no.3 isn't of course, but I loved the newness of the whole experience when I was pg with dd1, lol, plus the pampering that you just don't get with subsequent dc's!

Scan is booked for 19th July, two days after we come back from holiday. Can't wait! Got my booking appointment this Friday morning too! With my favourite midwife too, to say I've had some rocky times with her is putting it mildly! Am not looking forward to getting weighed one bit. Will probably break the scales!

I'm unable to copy and paste list as on my phone but would someone mind putting me on for the 20th please? Only told oh last night and he just laid down with his eyes shut and not mentioned it! I know he thinks the house is too small, I need to finish college, we should take the 2 kids we already have on holiday etc but bit blooming late now.

I don't really have any symptoms apart from sore boobs and tiredness, booked in with doc on Tuesday, moved to a new area since the last baby so not sure how it works or even where the nearest maternity hospital is. Anyone else in the bristol area? When we have broadband installed, I will get on the laptop to read the thread and get to know you all better!

Can someone add me please? I'm not sure how to on my phone! I'm 33 and due on 24 feb. Baby no 1 (fingers crossed!).

Sickness - definately second eating little and often and a decent snack (read another meal lol) before bed

Bill I have also dug out the fat pants. Dc4 my poor body has given up! For those of you who think its not worth buying in betweeny clothes trust me it is you will wear them again for a while after birth.

Does the busyness of this bus not bode well for packed labour wards??
Is it bank holiday babies?

My pregnancies were all different but dd and ds2 were most alike. However I have a theory that your pregnancy reflects their personality...
Ds2 was a nightmare pg and he can be a difficult child. I sold all my stuff when he was little as I wasnt having anymore!
Never say never and all that!

Morning sickness has stopped, but has being replaced with sicky all day - nothing stops this, even nibbling all day, ginger, plain stuff etc. Only thing that helps at all is just getting on with stuff, thank god i am not being sick yet!! Massive boobs are still there; but soreness has now being added. Tiredness is still a cripple, napped twice yesterday and slept 10 hours overnight!!!

I booked my scan today Friday 5th August i will be 11+6 :D I cannot wait... I tried to get a dating scan around 8 weeks and an NT scan at 13 but no chance lol!!! Been shopping with my dad today and he bought me non alcoholic wine (bless him), tropicana orange juice (usually get cartons) and Value tortilla chips (because as i said, what baby wants, baby gets :D ) Tortilla chips seem to be a very early craving, how far along do cravings usually come?

Morning sickness has been a bit intermittant. Some days I think I've imagined it (and obviously the whole pregnancy thing) and others I feel sick as a dog. Today is one of the 'doggy' days so I'm still in my pj's on the sofa.
I think I feel the tiredness a lot less this time as am at home with 2yo DS instead of full time work.

Have been massively craving fruit this time. Last time it was lucozade and KFC so maybe this time I'm having a mini personal trainer .
