He is having lots of fun with mummys quilt on the living room floor now!
dp keeps telling me he wants this baby out now, hes fed up with waiting now.......Oh really!?? Ha, how does he think I feel then!

Think I will still go for sweep tommorrow, will probably decide in the morning, judging by how I feel by then......right now I feel like Ive been run over by a bus!

hello ladies, just thought i'd pop in and see how you are all doing?
GO sharon! I'll be thinking of you this evening sympathy Busy - you sound so fed up!!
chacha cleaning has got to be a good sign surely...cleaning frenzy doesn't seem to go away after birth. i have become a cliched mum, pumpin the cushions up and tidying away plates etc, and ironing like a crazed woman. it's all these visitors haven't helped...have had my work colleagues drop in (some of which i know well and others just curious to see bub i guess) you can't really stop them from dropping in can you....? yet feels a bit like privacy being invaded (iykwim??) having to check no lochia visible in bathroom, toilet, bin etc etc...might just be easier to go on in to work............

Hope you late ones start labour very soon
will check in again to here the news

Hi everyone

Just a quick post to let you know baby Isabella finally decided to join her family. She was born yesterday weighing 9lb 1oz.

Unfortunately, had to be transferred to the hosiptal, because head was not descending and midwife was concerned about the size since I'm only 5ft3, so didn't get my homebirth. Did manage the entire labour at home which more enjoyable and discharged myself after 6hrs.

Feeling a little bit drained but doing well. It was really nice to cuddle ds today without a huge belly in the way. He is completely amazed by Isabella and taking it really well so far.

Can understand how you are all feeling. Try to hang in there. Keep taking your RLT (didn't take it this time and definitely noticed the difference.)

Hope Sharon has a nice easy and quick labour.

Chacha - You could be me. I was OTT with housework during the last 3 weeks and even now can't help but get annoyed if the smallest thing is dirty or out of place.

Alice & Busy - Hang in there. BTW, Italian induction worked for me in the end.

Right, my folks want to meet their new grandchild on webcam better not keep them waiting any longer.

Oh CADS!! Congratulations Wow, so very happy for you! Sorry you didn't get your homebirth but sounds like it all went so well. Well done you!! Yes, we'd like to see some pics too when you've time . Your parents are in S.Africa if i remember correctly, are they due over soon? My dad arrives tomorrow.

Sharon - Can't wait to hear your good news! Thinking of you and all the best Lucky you!

Busy - Sorry you're feeling crappy

Jenjam - LOL @ work at home scenario. Hope all is going well for you.

Glad I'm not the only one with that OTT cleaning instinct. I didn't sleep at all well last night and now at 8.30pm I am contemplating a tidy up upstairs...I must be mad!

Hi Londoner - Yeah, a new thread would be a good idea...I've started one already so would anyone of the other November ladies like to start a new one (for those of us still hanging on?)

Oh CADS I'm so so pleased for you and I love the name Isabella. And you've given me some hope that things might happen for me before saturday.

Well def had a show last night but nothing to show for it iykwim. But midwife is coming later so I'm going to ask for a 2nd sweep.
One good thing to come from being overdue is my brother rang me for the first time in over a year. Dh answered the phone and didn't know who it was, I was dishing dh's tea up and nearly dropped it on the kitchen floor I was that shocked. We do get on quite well but my sil hates my guts for some reason and they live in Bath which apparently is a different planet with only intermittant communication with the real world......I'm a sarcastic cow aren't I!!!!

Nothing much planned for today apart from dh wants me to fake a false alarm so he can come home from work, I said I'd rather have the real thing personnaly.

Have a good day everyone

hi ladies quickets ever message sorry hope you're all ok can't see me ever catching up with th e thread .
Had a little boy on Tuesday well 8lb 14oz !!
Had a long labour as he was back to back and wouldn't move after 36 hours and threat of c section he popped out after just 30 minutes of pushing and was born at 15:30
some mucle tears and a swelling I can't say name of thay threatened to take me back to theatre to drain and re-stitch but then didn't thank God
still was awake for 45 hours and didn't eat for most of at as theatre beckoned, feeling very tired and weak and little Sam feeds every 2 hours so I'm a bit of a wreck at the mo.
Saying that he is perfect and gorgeous and feeds and sleeps thankfully.
All will feel a hundred times better when I can do a little more for myself
Will post a piccie as soon as I can
Love to you all with babes in arms and those still waiting
was no worse than I thought it would be only longer saying that had epidural in the end and that was a godsend !
Love Sharon and Sam (22-11-05 15:30 8lb 14oz)
will someone add us to stats please x x
