We have been given a second-hand Baby Bjorn - shall see how we get on with that first and if needs be investigate other options.

Oh, & I saw someone walking along with my pram! Not my exact one obv. It looked vay nice. Lady & baby sat at table next to us, then met fella who was obviously on lunchbreak - gave me a nice little look into my near future Smile

AlpinePony · 25/03/2011 14:09

See you on the mummy side medee. x

Medee · 25/03/2011 14:33

now, that was definitely a show!

OP posts:
Muser · 25/03/2011 14:38

A show!

laurielou · 25/03/2011 14:47

A show you say? Woo hoo!

owlbooty · 25/03/2011 14:54

Tis a good thing I have the pom poms ready

Go go Meds Grin

Many teeny tiny things turned up in the post today. I have squeeeeeeeeed at all of them and may do some cooing later just to leave the sorry remains of whatever DHB reputation I had in tatters on the Deli floor. The Tesco things are gorgeous, especially the little jacket with orange and green stars on. Squuuuuueeeeeeeeee again!!!

milanomum · 25/03/2011 15:01

A show! Grin
Go meds!

Owlie Sqee-ing at small baybee clothes is allowed. Especially when there are green and orange stars on them.

I suffered from awful swollen feet with no.1 so much sympathy to all the sufferers. Great excuse for putting your feet up tho.

laurielou · 25/03/2011 15:24

Oh, have only just realised Queen of ESH Don'ttry & first ESH baby is 1 today! Jebus! Meds that is a fine, fine day to be having a baybee.

Happy Birthday to MiniDon't & soon-to-be Meds

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Scorpette · 25/03/2011 15:26

A show! That's what we like to hear! You might not need any faffing with at 4pm, Medee, but even if you do, be happy that laying has started all on its own :) Good luck for later and a big ginny snog

I think pacing will be especially good for those of us in the Trotters Brigade!

Sounds like you've had a fab lunch, Loz (even with Captain Tactful in tow!). Bet Cardiff Bay looks bloody amazing at this time of year. Did you see any of the Torchwood staff Wink

I ended up having an oj outside a lovely country pub when some old pals I've not seen for ages popped by spontaneously on their way through the county (they were impressed/terrified by my bump size, ha!). Good times.

I haven't seen that jacket in my local Tesco, Booty - sounds amaze! They do some utterly melty pirate puppy-themed stuff for little boys there, which me and TYF have bought plenty of.

The bottom of my womble feels reeeeeeally tight, inside and to touch. Is not BH, cos it's not a muscle contraction thang. The Lad must be settling himself into the right position for near-future laying (EEP!).

Scorpette · 25/03/2011 15:35

X-post! Happy birthday little MiniDon't - what a lovely omen for Medee and a BESHpiration for those ESH still fighting the good fight

Medee · 25/03/2011 15:42

ooh, Happy Birthday BabyDon'tTry!

That's me signing off now, see you on the other side....

CurlyCasper · 25/03/2011 15:57

thinking of you meds. Squeeeeeeeeeeeee!

And happy birthday babyDon't! (Eek, I'm fourth on the birthday list)

Scorpette · 25/03/2011 16:01

See you when you're MUMMY MEDEE! Hope you still get the birth you want and do us proud :)

Casserole · 25/03/2011 16:06

A show! Grin

There's no business like showbusiness, like no business I knooooooooow.....

rocketleaf · 25/03/2011 17:26

Argh! I go for a nap and miss the show!!! Goooo meds Let the pacing begin.

What an auspicious day to begin laying on too. Happy 1st Birthday MiniDon't.

I love that little stars hoody bitey I also love the hooded fleeces they do but couldn't decide between the purple spotty one and the green stripey one so ended up not buying anything

MadameBoo · 25/03/2011 17:33
Muser · 25/03/2011 17:51

Rocket you loofa, in that situation you buy both!

Ooh, next time we hear from Meds she'll have a baybee.

LadyGoneGaga · 25/03/2011 19:19

Go Meds - soon, soon, soon!!!

Breastfeeding in sling took me ages to master. But can be done. I loved my Moby so looking forward to getting it out again. Guaranteed to put fractious babies to sleep - magic.

I'm frigging knackered due to a huge commotion outside of bedroom window at 4:30 am. Was an otherwordly screeching. Looked out to see a fox, trying to kill something. I was terrified it was one of my cats so flew out into the street in pj's screaming at it. (We live on a suburban terraced street by the way!) God knows what it had - not one of the cats thankfully. Couldn't get back to sleep after that. Rubbish.

I like a bit of squee-ing over tiny clothes, Owlie. Few more weeks then I will get MiniG's newborn stuff down from loft and wash it all I think. And the nappies Smile

Casserole · 25/03/2011 19:36

I've got a Closer sling. I didn't breastfeed in it until ministew was about 5 months old; couldn't get the hang of it when he was littler - but once I did get the hang of it I loved it. Provided support and privacy when feeding out and about, too.

I can't remember about the crossing it over / not aspect. I think it was quite easy to rethread... as I recall their website has the instruction manual on, which might shed more light.

Casserole · 25/03/2011 19:38

Sorry - a Close sling. Not a sling made out of the pages of a crappy celebrity magazine Grin

MadameBoo · 26/03/2011 09:03

Medee, Medee, Medee ...

CurlyCasper · 26/03/2011 10:33

Gah, no news! Hope all is well, snuffly and happy in medee land.

Scorpette · 26/03/2011 11:33

I'll be out between 12-30 and 5 for my NCT class - I hope Medee won't be so thoughtless as to announce whilst I'm out Wink

Actually, that GUARANTEES good news! Hope you're doing well, Meds, whether you're snuffling right now or still waiting to meet your baybee :)

I hope all our excitement doesn't feel like pressure - we can't help luffing you!
