Congratulations to Mr, Mrs, and Baby Girl Muser and Jeffily!!!!!!! Very difficult to fight back the tears of joy! Am looking forward to your stories, and to discovering who's next and whether we'll have 3 girls in a row! :)
Seems so much has happened after a week away from this thread! Last I checked everyone was packing hospital bags, nesting, and going on mat leave. Now many of us are going through new levels of (dis)comfort, and ready to pop!
Am impressed that some of you are still travelling and watching OBEM! I'm in total queezy denial and cannot bring myself to watching it...
Our bag is packed and we've trained ourselves to use and dismantle the pram, so we're partially ready for the coming weeks. Only gigantic prob is that we will be moving flats a week AFTER the due date, and I am living in storage HELL at the moment, not able to do anything for the baby's room, and living with boxes surrounding me...DH assures me that all will be fine, as he is very efficient with contingency plans, etc, but I would have loved the opp to walk into the LO's room right about now.
Consultant would like to schedule my ELCS on March 9th, though I've expressed to her that I would much rather prefer a natural birth. She is concerned that the baby won't drop b/c of my fibroids...can she really determine that? She said if he does drop before the 9th and I go into labour, then we'll give it a go the natural way. I still don't know what to make of this!!!
Good luck to everyone, and hope that you are all enjoying final days of rest and quality time with your kicking and contracting bumps! :)
