Happy birthday Teladi!
Good luck with the scan Annie! Think whether it needs to be transvaginal depends on individual. I had a scan at 6 weeks, 6 days and they couldn't see much with the abdominal so decided to do the transvaginal - but apparently my uterus is a slightly funny shape or something. I'm also overweight which can make transvaginal more likely. On the plus side it was fine and didn't hurt - which for someone who has endometriosis and finds smear tests, internal exams and even sex painful (sorry TMI) is pretty good going!
Have just been catching up with the thread and am craving jelly babies now :)
tel1 welcome and good luck, waiting is really hard! Think lack of symptoms at 11 weeks is normal, apparently things like morning sickness may lift about 9/10 weeks - I'm hoping mine will....
nickstermum Yes, keep getting indigestion on and off, Rennies are a godsend and OK for pregnant women. Also bizarrely keep getting diarrhoea, rather than the constipation we are all warned about.
MrsStevo - lol, yes it does seem to go really slowly. I feel like I've been 8 weeks for ages, now finally into week 9. Had booking in appointment today which just seemed a lot of paperwork, she didn't even ask how I was feeling, tho wrote down I was feeling OK!
Apparently I can't go to Bishop Auckland midwifery led centre which was my first choice, because my BMI is 39 and therefore am too high risk. A bit disappointed, apparently consultant led care is my only option. Hate to think what they'd say if I asked for home birth! Anyone out there got experience of high BMI pregnancy?
Take care, everyone
