rocketleaf · 31/12/2010 19:10

I didn't cook, I just assembled cold things, that doesn't count. Wink

Medee · 31/12/2010 19:23

tonight is some M+S turkey (we have had our own mini-Christmas dinner in between Christmas and New Year) with various trimmings. TOmorrow is traditional steak pie, mash and cabbage.

rollerbaby · 31/12/2010 19:35

Peshy pops, I know I've been hideously rubbish at keeping up with you all of late. What happened to babies keeping to strict timetables and letting you sleep?

I just wanted to swing by and drop off a bottle of sambuca and some fois gras, and wish you all a truly fabulous new years. Tonight, the highlight is dinner and Jools Holland. I may even brush my hair later on.

Now Polly get laying - we want a new years baybee!!

Muser · 31/12/2010 21:08

Happy New Year honeymonster. Have a lovely evening with your boys.

Scorpette · 31/12/2010 21:21

I is BACK! Never before have I been so happy to see chavs throwing chips at each other in the road and drunk women at the bus stop getting their tits out for passing cars!

Have been back for a few hours but it's taken me that long to be able to form cohesive thoughts that don't include murder.

Rocket, glad your scan went okay today and hoorah for seeing lovely Sprout in close-up. Hope the results are good news (or as minimal as poss)

Pol, try to hang on for @ 30 hours - peeps born 1st Jan always feel jipped cos everyone's hungover and partied out on that date! But it sounds like things are moving in the right direction now so keep on trucking towards that luffly home birth

Scorpette · 31/12/2010 21:42

Also - I'd just like to stuff AncientsofMooMoo's head between my massive comedy norks and give her a right good motorboating. That all right with you, my lovely? Grin

Scorpette · 31/12/2010 23:56

Next year is the year when our lives change forever. Is bloody massive thing! Am scared in the happiest way. Big luffs to all the ESH - those of us who became mothers in 2010, those of us who already know they will become mothers this year, those who don't know it yet but will also become mothers in 2011 and those who might have to wait a little longer still (no-one, I hope)! Luff you all! XXXX

ginhag · 01/01/2011 00:05

Happy 2011 to all the ESHes.

Smoooooches, headbutts fer auld lang syne.

Xxxxxxxxxx

Muser · 01/01/2011 00:15

Happy New Year! It's been a hell of a year, but we made it through. And 2011 is going to bring great things for all of us.

SilverSky · 01/01/2011 02:07

Oh rocco soz about my crap bamboo suggestion. I knows nuffin about nuffin.

rocketleaf · 01/01/2011 08:00

Happy 2011 Everyone!!! I think I should just quite score because she said it far more eloquently that me.

"Big luffs to all the ESH - those of us who became mothers in 2010, those of us who already know they will become mothers this year, those who don't know it yet but will also become mothers in 2011 and those who might have to wait a little longer still (no-one, I hope)! Luff you all! XXXX"

silvs sorry didnt meant to get on a textiles high horse there! Viscose is no worse/better than many another fibre really, I just a/ get a bit annoyed at the supposed 'eco' credentials as I feel its misinforming da public, and b/ wanted to show off my completely pointless and otherwise useless knowledge Wink

score you are braver girl than I watching OBEM, I saw the trailers and decided to swerve it this time less I get the fear and decide to sew up my foof so this babay never has to come out.

How can it be this dark at 8 am? and how can I now not sleep after getting to bed til 2? I am tempted to have a rant about the guests that TB didn't want to invite (he turned out to be sooo right) but don't want my first post of 2011 to be negative so instead I am going to say what a lovely time I had, food went down really well, have loads left over so we are good for the rest of the weekend unless you PESH all want to jump on the train? :o

rocketleaf · 01/01/2011 08:02

oh and hello to mooo I hope all is well your end, and you had a lovely chilled out night! I don't think anyone is gonna hold not keeping up against ya Wink

CluckyKate · 01/01/2011 08:35

Happy New Year you lovely PESHes - what an amazing year 2011 promises to be.

Hope you all had a brilliant night xxx

LadyGoneGaga · 01/01/2011 08:56

Happy New Year all. I fell asleep putting MiniG to bed so poor MrG had to spend it on his own with Jools Holland. Should have just gone to the pub poor guy.

Glad you're back in the land of sensible food options and good hygiene, Scorps. Another year done.

Sorry you had a knob guest, Rocket. There's always one prick in a bunch of roses.

Taking MiniG to his Dad's later and then I may get rid of this feckin' Christmas tree that is currently shedding all its needles all over the rug.

Medee · 01/01/2011 10:52

morning all, very excited about 2011! It's so exciting for us all! Toasted in the bells rather soberly with a glass of pink juice, and a sip of MrM's fizz and a smell of his whisky. Opened the door to let the New Year in, and heard the ship's horns at midnight, and could see the rather-good fireworks from our window. Also saw the London ones on the TV which looked amazing (though someone needs to teach the crowd Auld Lang Syne properly.)

Rocket if you won't make your first post about the knob guest, I for one would be delighted if you would make your third post about him!

rocketleaf · 01/01/2011 11:01

Morning meds I decided to post it in AIBU as a form of therapy and spare those of you who arent interested ;-)

It is here if you can be bothered to read my rant!

You are so good, I caved and had 2 glasses of cava and berry juice (only 1 glass in total) We also wanted to hear the ships last night but I think the wind was in the wrong direction, you can normally hear them on the Mersey.

I am knackered, defo think I am going to have to perfect the afternoon nap today.

Medee · 01/01/2011 11:06

was only good as I have over-indulged (relatively speaking) of late, so probably reached my limits.

Medee · 01/01/2011 11:08

excellent ranting, Rocket, and completely justified.

SilverSky · 01/01/2011 11:53

rockstar no apology required dear gal. I was pissed that I fell in to the trap that I thought bamboo was Eco/earth muvver shiz. Denied!!!

I echo what ScoreScore said and said perfick like.

Look forward to seeing you all in the Spa. Nay fear there are plenty of lockers and complimentary fluffy White bath robes for every ESH. No need to make an appt. Whenever you are ready just pitch up at Reception!!!!!!!!

SilverSky · 01/01/2011 11:58

Oh and YADNBU - she is!!!!! What a topic to talk about!!!!!!! Inappropriate.com

MsFC · 01/01/2011 12:19

Ooh, thanks for posting rocket, I was hoping you'd tell!

PrincessBoo · 01/01/2011 13:11

Happy New Year PESHlets :) I have a good feeling about 2011 - I like odd numbers :)

PollyPoo · 01/01/2011 14:26

Happy New Year ESHies one and all. May 2011 be the year we ALL win our baybees.

Rocket they sound vile. I'm surprised you didn't kick them out! Each to his own and all that but to tell two pregnant women about your late term abortion is just every kind of wrong. Angry I'd say she has ishoes.... What did MrRocket make of it all? Was he awake when they were coming out with all that crap?

Gusset watch update.... gusset watch update... This is getting very tedious. No real change. Still having a show following yesterdays sweep. I am going stir crazy and need to get out. I am stinking of clary sage oil - so much so that Boo keeps asking what that horrible smell is and won't cuddle me! We tried the sechs this morning but it was a failed attempted. It just felt really weird - having sex to try and get a baby out is even worse that ttc for 2 years it seems! Add to that, I just do NOT feel like a sexual being when duffed and TG is not the kind of bloke who gets off on the pregnant shape... well, it was just a disaster. Sad I half jokingly suggested he jizz in a pot and we stick a funnel up my foof and pour it in. Expected him to screw his face up but actually he is not against the idea! Seems all kinds of wrong, but I am just desperate enough to try it... after all, the spermz is supposed to be the best way to bring on labour. What a story to never tell your children and grandkids eh? Grin

Right, I think I might go for a little waddle walk. I need some fresh air.

OP posts:
rocketleaf · 01/01/2011 14:39

oh poo sorry I know I shouldn't laugh but that IS quite funny. It reminds of the jokes TB now cracks every time we see a turkey baster Wink

Hope the walk helps the cabin fever and gets things to move a bit quicker. We are sposed to be going out again in a bit and I REALLY want another duvet day. Must try afternoon nap.

rollerbaby · 01/01/2011 15:22

Poo are you having a show? Surely only days away now, iif that! I had one on Monday and weds the little guy decided to make his move... Get up and down those stairs!

Rocket OMFG is all I'm going to say. I would be furious. A few choice words wouldn't go astray. If they are true friends they will apologise.

I'm knackered after feeding 3 times last night and my right nipple is about to fall off. I also just ate 5 mince pies and cleared out my wardrobe.

Oh and happy new year!!!!!!
