I have quite a few knitted jumper dresses or long jumpers which have been brilliant. Its bottoms I think I need to sort because my leggings are starting to be tight and not comfy round the waist. Lots of my tops and shirts were already empire line or gathered below the tits because i was a bit parnoid about my pot belly, actually loving the fact I can show it off now as I have an excuse Wink

fc my cousin had so much milk she was expressing and freezing for the milk bank every night!!! That freaked me out a bit.

rocketleaf · 31/12/2010 10:39

oh yeah pol gusset update required pls?

PerfectDromedary · 31/12/2010 10:46

LGG Blooming Marvellous went into administration. Think they're still about online somewhere. I used to have to walk past their shop on my way to work every day and they became the face of all that was evil and taunting me, so I have not investigated further.

And I spent a lot of last night awake and scratching.

Muser · 31/12/2010 10:47

Anyone got a view on Tommee Tippee closer to nature breast pumps? They are half price at Boots.

Medee · 31/12/2010 10:47

morning all!

I have had delivered a pair of bargainous work troousers from Mothercare, and have a pair on order from jojomaman, along with some PJs, and I think that will have to be me. I got frustrated that a lot of the preg tops are short-sleeved (yes, H+M, I am looking at you) but Uniqlo heattech tops in a bigger size have solved that problem.

My boobs now touch my bump - for someone with small boobs, this is a weird sensation.

rocket so nice you got an extra look at Sprout - though clearly less so at the gallstones.

ginhag · 31/12/2010 10:47

Bleurgh. Combination of over-excited men (which sounds much more exciting than it was Grin) and frequent BHs/baby pushing into hip (weird) means not much sleep was had here. Ho hum...

rocket nice of sonographer to scan baybee! Seems strange she couldn't say owt re gallstones (specially if she was the sort of person who would do a whole extra scan!) but maybe them's the rules round your way. am pretty sure that when I had kidney stone they gave me some idea at the time (was a while ago tho so I could be talking shite...)

Hope you get results n doc appt thru asap. If it was me I would want to know exactly what I was dealing with!

I'm not buying any more mat clothes either. I've quite liked mine this time round, maybe cos I bought more than last time and also cos I don't have to look proper smart for work like some of you...

Muser · 31/12/2010 10:48

I think Blooming Marvellous got snaffled up by Mothercare. But I may have made that up.

ginhag · 31/12/2010 10:49

I also want news on gusset watch. NOW.

Muser · 31/12/2010 10:50

rocket my dad and SIL both had surgery for gallstones and recovered very quickly. They had keyhole surgery and are now back to normal. Hasn't affected what they can eat in any way. My dad celebrated coming off his low fat diet with a massive sticky toffee pudding.

ginhag · 31/12/2010 10:52

Ps next maternity pjs = soooooooo comfy and perfect for bf too, I LOVE them. Which makes me Saddo McSad the Saddest pesh in Sadville.

Muser · 31/12/2010 10:53

PJs. That is what I do need to buy. I am thinking about my hospital bag. In a "oh yes, need one of those" ways, not in an organised way.

ginhag · 31/12/2010 10:56

muse get black stuff. Obvious reasons. Also nighties are not bad idea....

Is hard to get dark mat/pg sleepwear. Fucking pastels everywhere. My lush next jammies are dark on the bottom tho which is where it counts. Think I should buy another set, am washing them all the time at the mo.

ginhag · 31/12/2010 10:57

Aaaaaargh just am no fucking italics!!!!! That is driving me mad.

Muser · 31/12/2010 10:59

Is it these ones you have gin?

ginhag · 31/12/2010 11:01

Yep indeedy. wearing them at this very moment! And wondering if I can wear them to work on tues Grin

PerfectDromedary · 31/12/2010 11:03

Bloody hell. Now I have to spend money on maternity sleepwear. Gin You is eeeeeevil.

PollyPoo · 31/12/2010 11:03

Morning all. Gusset watch update.... still getting bit of dusky pink (do we need a new colour chart?) gusset. It all seemed to stop overnight but started up again at breakfast. Bump is now smothered in clary sage oil and I've made a half hearted attempt at tweaking nips. Reckon I will do more of that tonight while I bounce on my ball - maybe it will get us in the mood for the sechs. Or maybe not. Hmm

Midwife due at 2pm, not holding out much hope for low BP - I get a feeling in my chest when it is higher, bit like palpitations and shortness of breath. Still, going to curl up on the sofa now with the dog and do my hippo cd. Boo is busy with her xmas pressies and cbeebies so I should get some peace!

Rocket so glad you got to see Sprout. Good luck with the results.

Someone was asking about long-sleeved mat tops - have you tried Next? I got a 2-pack of scoop necked 3/4 length sleeve tops that are tres comfortable, but there were lots of other sleeve and style options.

Right, off to put feet up now. Will check in at lunchtime for more gusset watch.

Muser · 31/12/2010 11:14

Have ordered pjs and nightie. Gin is eeeevil.

Muser · 31/12/2010 11:15

Get nipple tweaking Pollster! Hope the midwif appointment goes ok and the hippo cd relaxes you nicely.

rocketleaf · 31/12/2010 12:24

wow Next, I never thought I'd say this as I normally dont like their stuff but the mat wear looks good! Nice one. I am feeling a bit happier about being able to kit myself out now.

NYE plans have gone tits up as hostess has terrible flu, so I ma hving a couple of people round here instead. Actually secretly happy about this (obv not at her having flu :() development although means tidying house (TB on case already) but justifies a trip to Waitrose for goodies, whoot!

rocketleaf · 31/12/2010 12:26

oh soz x post pol good luck with MW visit later, deep calming breaths now. I knw what you mean about that tight chest feeling, I get it when stressed and although have never had high blood pressure when tested I am sure that must be the same thing.

Medee · 31/12/2010 13:43

those are lovely PJs.

I have these on order www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+Pyjamas-Nightwear-Taupe-Pyjama-Bottoms+B4072

Am currently pumping up (very slowly) a gym ball - hopefully that will help my crock back.

Medee · 31/12/2010 13:48

good luck for the MW visit, Polly.

Muser · 31/12/2010 14:47

TBG is putting the pram together. I am directing him. So far my contribution has been: "can you make the seat unit facing please". Which threw him a bit, but I'm sure he'll figure it out.

It really is quite a dinky thing. I am impressed. Ooh, it's built. That was fast!

Medee · 31/12/2010 14:53

very exciting, Muse. MrM has been finishing off the pumping up of my ball. They do have their uses, after the initial one!
