Have messaged you ginly. and passed on your luvvs and she sends big love back to you xxx

Scorpette · 30/12/2010 21:01

Mmm, the joys of regifting, eh, Cluckers? Angry They sound as tactful and thoughtful as my ILs! Awful response to news of your redundancy Sad

Rocket, don't beat yourself up. My Mum was allowed to drink before her gall bladder scan, so that's odd. Unless my Mum got confused too and her scan was still feasible (wouldn't put it past her, tbh).

PolPot, am liking the rusty gusset update. Will you lay the first baybee of 2011? Sending you speedy developments and gentle sneeze vibes (and a massive snog).

Well, I'm glad I have food allergies, as I have not had to have the prawn cocktail made from a giant bag of prawns defrosted on Boxing Day or the world's most random stir-fry including turkey, sprouts and roast potatoes leftover from Xmas Day as well as cucumber and pilau rice. Nommy!

PollyPoo · 30/12/2010 21:04

MsFC yes please - tell me the publication so I can buy it.

I have also eaten HB's cake, it was AMAZE. She is a goddess.

Now I need cake... and will go and check the gusset too.

There will be no blowing up of pool just yet MrsFC, we bought an electric pump so it won't take long.

Would you resent having your birthday on NYE? Or would it be the best time to have a birthday?

OP posts:
rocketleaf · 30/12/2010 21:07

pol one of my best friends has her birthday tomorrow and I know she doesn't really like it as everyone is celebrating NYE not her birthday :( Keep those legs crossed til the 2nd as I suspect NYD would be even worse as everyone will be too hung over to celebrate!!

PollyPoo · 30/12/2010 21:10

Can I ask opinions on this bargain dress?

We are going to a wedding on 22 Jan in Kent (yes, with tiny baby and 3 yr old, must be bloody mad).

Ideally I want something I can breastfeed in (assuming I can BF this time). Wondering if I could BF thro the sleeves of this dress. Don't want to spend a fortune on a proper nursing dress as a) don't have the money and b) they are all nasty anyway. Opinions pls!! TG thinks it looks too much like a bathrobe. I'm not sure if I am only drawn to it because of the price.

Also, what should I wear on my feet? Obv will have money to buy shoes as dress is so cheap!

Muser · 30/12/2010 21:12

I want to buy the magazine tooooo!

Now, how does one tell one's neighbours that one is up the duff? Why, be out when Mothercare delivers and get them to take in the pram and carseat. All in big emblazoned boxes.

Oh my god. There is a pram sat here next to me. And a carseat in the other room. I might actually pee myself a little bit. What, I am pregnant.

I have just done hippo birth cd and am now going to have a bath. Mmmm, lovely.

ginhag · 30/12/2010 21:12

Thanks mrsfc that is v v impressive

Muser · 30/12/2010 21:13

I like the dress, I think it would look ace on you.

MsFC · 30/12/2010 21:13

Oh that dress is lovely Pols, and I reckon it would be easy to bf in.

I shall pm you xx

ginhag · 30/12/2010 21:21

Is nice dress poo....bit hard to tell about 'access' from the pic...

A wrap dress is another option. Easy to wop one out (ooo I'm such a laydee) and you can always wear a shawly thing if you want to be modest.

Grin muse I remember that last time!

PollyPoo · 30/12/2010 21:25

Ooh fanx Muse and msFC, I think I will order it and see what it is like. How about these to go with? I think perhaps some nice wedges would go better but I can't bear the thought of having my toes out in January. Although perhaps I could wear black opague tights. Hmmm. Any other suggestions biatches?

Gussetwatch news... little bit more pinky mucousy stuff and a few cervical twinges. Very mild though. I'm beginning to think I may have imagined them.

OP posts:
CluckyKate · 30/12/2010 21:29

That is ver priddy Pols and would hide multitude of sins be very flattering on a post-preggo so soon after laying Smile....great price too!!!

IL's are good people but have never warmed to me and this is proof, no. They are very timid, left wing, religious types & I'm, well, not. Is quite funny they've been caught out and they genuinely think I would be happy as SAHM.....hahahahahahaha.

Right, I is pooped.....off for some hippo action & bed. Would love clean sheets but can't be arsed - a job for MrCK tomorrow I think.

Scorpette · 30/12/2010 21:33

I think it's very you, Polestar. And you'd get a lot of wear out of it. It's so long you could wear some comfy boots underneath too.

Am liking the Pink Panther update. Ah, how the wheel turns - from one sort of gusset watch to another. This NYE, I am wishing upon a star that all the BESHes win ASAP...

PollyPoo · 30/12/2010 21:35

I've not been able to find a wrap dress that I like Gin. Most annoying as it would probably be the easiest to feed in.

OP posts:
Scorpette · 30/12/2010 21:42

A propos of nothing, does everyone else have enormous comedy coathook nips all the bloody time (not just cos it's cold out)? Elder BIL took one look at me when we arrived on Boxing Day, went beetroot and has studiously avoided looking at me below the nose ever since Grin

rocketleaf · 30/12/2010 21:43

V nice dress pol I think wedges and opaque tights would be a good option, I have also seen wedge shoes about recently

MsFC · 30/12/2010 21:49

Yup, I have those score! which is why I'm still suffering the underwire padded bras of pre diff. Or the cardi has become my bff...

rocketleaf · 30/12/2010 21:49

like these would pick out the turquoise of the dress? too much?

rocketleaf · 30/12/2010 21:52

yes score its not so much that I am smuggling peanuts as smuggling walnuts!! I bought new bras (as the old ones got too uncomfy) but got them on line and didnt realise they werent tea shirt bras. I now have porn nips where ever I go but have just affected to ignore them.

Scorpette · 30/12/2010 22:02

Leafy, mine also get sore quite often and I have to wap them out (technical term) in private and give them a good rub. TYF seems curiously worried to make sure I rub away the pain for as long as I need to Wink

PS those shoes are menkul - in a good way!

rocketleaf · 30/12/2010 22:07

i do like irregular choice, I could never wear those of course as I can't do much above a 4 cm heel. Their flats are always cute too tho. There was another pair on asos that were even more mental/beautiful but they were 85 nicker so didn't think it was worth posting those.

Yes funny that TB does not seem at all worried at the size and prominence of my nips either :o
