MrsFC well, you don't hang around do you? Grin Hope the news on PE is OK & that you managed to get some rest last night. Sorry you had to stay in though.

So........what's the news this morning? Any more leakage? Induction? Are you already snuggling & eating the mandatory fish & chips? Thinking of you anyway x

Thanks everyone for the good luck scan wishes. I'm on an absolute high thanks to Pol, Scorps & her boy flava, now MrsFC, & to top it all my scan. I think I'm going to be very annoying today.

7 hrs til scan time. Pliz not to panic if I don't report back immediately. I'll hopefully be running around the rellies showing off new pics.

In other news it appears Bug likes "Fire" by Kasabian. Tummy was flip-flopping all over the place as I sang that this morning Grin

How the hell am I meant to work today?

Muchos luffs to everyone else...

rocketleaf · 06/01/2011 08:26

Just checking in for FC news. gah its just too exciting! Hope you managed to get some kip my love, rooting for you today!

Lozzer think I have a critic in my belly, got loads of movement when I was belting out "Lets hear it for the boy" in the car yesterday. Prob just complaining at me murdering the high notes :o Ah super excited about your scan later!! Please try and let us now asap, we should come before moldy ole rellies Wink kidding of course!

score how TYH (The Young Hampster) today? Sorry, I am picking up your lack of sympathy :o None related OMGESHTRIPLETS would be a coup wouldn't it!

silvs lovely that your NCT group are such a support, I am hoping that will turn out the same for us although TB is very much dragging his feet (he thinks he hates meeting new people, although he is actually very sociable once forced by me in the situation)

Stuck in today as TB has a courier collecting something. Gonna try and make a start on the mountains of paper work. BORING! Think I'll head back to bed to read for a bit first.

Muser · 06/01/2011 09:18

I want MrsFC news! I wonder if there is a new ESHbaby already.

*not that ring, you filthy mares!

RunLyraRun · 06/01/2011 10:57

Hello layers. Just popping in, about 6 pages late I see, to say CONGRATUMULATIONS to the very clever Poll and her gorgeous wee girl.

I've not been in for months so also excited to see that Scorpetta is having a boy! Glad you had such a lovely scan experience old pal.

No real news here. Been TTC almost 18 months now, and waiting 6 for IVF. GP has diagnosed underactive thyroid, so that's another piece of the puzzle. Keeping plodding on. Fishslaps to all xx

Scorpette · 06/01/2011 10:58

Am typing whilst pacing - hope MrsFC is doing well (and might even have her baybee right now!) :)

RunLyraRun · 06/01/2011 11:04

Also - good luck for scan Lozza.

rocketleaf · 06/01/2011 11:06

LYRAAAAAAAA! you dark horse lurker you, so good to see you, :( re under active thyroid but I guess its a step in the right direction to get a diagnosed so they can help with it? Hope you don't have to wait too much longer for the IVF. Will you still be able to go to the other none NHS place?

score TB has sworn never to dance again incase he will 'dance like a dad' :( shame cos IMO he still has those snake hip moves that enticed me up on that podium to Daft Punk all those years ago :o

Scorpette · 06/01/2011 11:07

Lyra! So fab to see you, my gorgeousness! TTC for that long is crap, but the low thyroid diagnosis actually sounds promising - it is very easy to treat and I know of 2 RL women who were TTC for ages and found out they had thyroid issues and within a few months of getting the right level of treatment, they were diffed good and proper. Not trying to blithely get your hopes up by suggesting it could be a miracle cure, but it can be the piece of the puzzle that changes everything for many women

Shouldn't they be IVFing you up good-style v soon now? 'Bout time they got a wriggle on.

Was thinking about you and Family Lyra over Xmas - hope you are all okay. Biggest luffs to you all

PrincessBoo · 06/01/2011 11:17
RunLyraRun · 06/01/2011 11:33

Aww fanks Leafy and Scorps. I should pop in more often for the luffs! Letter from PCT back in August said we would be referred in January, so I am going to phone them tomorrow to check that is still the case. Yes, still supposed to be going to the non-NHS place, as far as I know.

Dad is steadily losing weight, good days and bad, but pretty much the same as he has been for the past 6 months really.

Hi Boo :)

LadyGoneGaga · 06/01/2011 11:33

Hey Lyra. lovely to hear from you! I have underactive Thyroid too. The good news is that it's very easy to treat once the right dosage is found. Maybe pop over to the thyroid board on Conception if you have any questions as quite a few of us on there inc one lady who'd been trying for ages and conceived a couple of months after starting Thyroxine. Can only help anyway. Also you feel miles better in yourself once on Thyroxine - it was magic for me, like a light being switched on.

Anyway, ramble, ramble. Lovely to see you.

Where is that MrsFC? Hopefully is sneezing a baby out right now.

RunLyraRun · 06/01/2011 11:35

Thanks GG. I am having a second blood test tomorrow to confirm, expect be put on thyroxine when the result of that comes through next week. Will defo pop over to your thyroid thread then.

Scorpette · 06/01/2011 11:43

Extra big luffs and a whole vineyard of virtual grapes for PapaLyra

rocketleaf · 06/01/2011 11:44

Also been thinking for you a lot as my dads depression has got worse making hims lost a lot of weight, therefore he has convinced himself it is the C word, when in fact hypochondria is part of his MH problems. I am sympathetic to him but part of me wants to shake him as I know that is actually happening to your dad. :( Its hard to be patient. Which reminds me, I should phone him.

I hope the good days out weight the bad, luvver. The thyroxine sounds promising then? Please keep us posted.

laurielou · 06/01/2011 11:50

LYRA!!!!! (Yeah, over use of !!!, so what?) Tis lubberly to see you.

Sad to the TTC for so long, it sucks. But I suppose its a watery Smile for the underactive thyroid & being something that seems fairly simples to treat. I hope that you get on the medication you need soon. Muchos luffs to Family Lyra. Enjoy the good days, x

MRSFC We DEMAND news! (Realises I'm being uber - fuck! what's the word I'm looking for? begins with "c" I think........ Pliz to help! I said earlier I prob wouldn't jump on here with scan news, but am expecting others to jump on here with news. WHAT IS THE FUCKING WORD? Can I blame PG brain, or am I just an idiot?)

Medee · 06/01/2011 11:53

Lyra hello, lovely to see you. Sorry to hear you are still waiting for IVF, but at least one piece of the puzzle has been solved.

Scorpette · 06/01/2011 12:00

'Caring', Loz?

laurielou · 06/01/2011 12:10

That's very sweet Scorps but it wasn't that nice a word. Hypocritical! That's what I was thinking of (yes, I know it doesn't begin with a "c"...)

RunLyraRun · 06/01/2011 12:10

Not as long as you Loz, and you got there in the end, so hoping it's the same for me.

Sorry about your dad, Salad. It must be so frustrating. Am going to stalk you elsewhere matey :)

rocketleaf · 06/01/2011 12:11

i was thinking 'confused' 'contrary' 'constipated'? Wink

laurielou · 06/01/2011 12:17

I did get there eventually, yes. And I firmly believe everyone else will too. Some may follow the "as the crow flies" path, others the scenic path & take a bit longer.

Plus, 1 month TTC is too bloody long once you've made your mind up

Reminds me - any of yesterday's champers still hanging around?

rocketleaf · 06/01/2011 12:30

Rattles half full bottle with fork in top, get some glasses. lozzer I am celebrating not only the lovely scans and the wonderful births but also a rather productive convo I have just had with the tax office which proved i had completely over calculated how much I owed them! Here's to self assessment being a minefield and my paranoid fear of debt!!!
