Aww, a boy! How lovely. Boys are fab. Congratulations Scorps. I was starting to panic a bit, glad it was all good. You iz having a baybeeee!

maswera · 04/01/2011 17:17

Ahh, congratulations scorps! Does it feel even more real now?!

And a slippery nipple for Polster. Come on baby!

rollerbaby · 04/01/2011 17:18

Congratulations scorps that is the best news!

MsFC · 04/01/2011 17:32

Congratulations 8score*, welcome to the boy club!

Medee · 04/01/2011 17:37

ace, welcome back, Scorps. I too was starting to worry a tad.

Medee · 04/01/2011 17:38

I'm also slightly jealous that you know.

Muser · 04/01/2011 17:42

MsFC, if you hang on a few weeks you'll find out and save the cost of a scan! You are very close to the finish line.

PerfectDromedary · 04/01/2011 17:44

A boy! Now you can get cracking on buying super-cute clothes. Congratulations!

Hope Pol and Gin are ok.

I just ran for the bus. At 32 weeks. And my pelvis did not snap. But have I hurt my baybeee?

MsFC · 04/01/2011 17:53

I know mine muse, I'm a boy club member! I had to find out because I was quite up for a girl, so I needed the time to get my head round it. Now I'm very excited about being the only girl with my boys!

I'm also looking forward to Saturday mornings in a peaceful house while they all go & play football in the rain...

RUNNING drom? Don't tell the baybee police.

MsFC · 04/01/2011 17:54

And I KNOW football is stereotyping, but if it means I get a boy free house every Saturday morning - they are all going whether they like it or not!

Medee · 04/01/2011 18:03

I'm sure you will be fine drom! as long as you weren't also carrying cake.

Scorpette · 04/01/2011 18:17

Ha, we are praying ours doesn't like footie!

TYF is being no use with names, only offering things like Ethelred and Adolf Hmm He's already wondering how early a child can learn the ukulele, sigh. I bloody hate noise.

Drom, your baybee probably had a fine old time leaping about going 'wheeeeee!' when you ran. But I know what you mean about worrying if v active things can be harmful

Medee, go for it if you want to know the flavour - was v exciting :)

Medee · 04/01/2011 18:21

are you telling the GPs the flavour?

Muser · 04/01/2011 18:22

I bought my nephew a ukulele (an ukulele?) for his 2nd birthday. He LOVED it.

Durr, can't tell my Medee's from my MsFC's, too many Ms! S'true for Medee anyway, not long for you either.

Right, I am off to my first NCT class. Oh wailey wailey.

Medee · 04/01/2011 18:23

enjoy, Muse!

PerfectDromedary · 04/01/2011 18:26

Bless you, score. I was slightly taking the piss about a short run for the bus being remotely damaging. And Berwhale is kicking me quite hard, so I suspect ze is alright...

Given the contrary nature of children, I am expecting a slightly dumb, rugby playing lad who is terribly popular at school - so that TNB and I will have NOTHING in common with him. It would be amaze, if only to see how confused we would both be.

Casserole · 04/01/2011 18:41

A boy! Fabulous news. They are BRILLIANT.

Scorpette · 04/01/2011 18:59

Enjoy your class, Muse.

TYF can play over 20 instruments (all well, not tinkering about), so I have no chance on that front Grin

Yes, Medee, have already told my parents. They are just happy that everything was okay. ILs just not v interested, but will tell 'em later. As they were really rude about preferring a boy, I'm hoping that the news will make them more involved when The Lad is on the scene at last.

Scorpette · 04/01/2011 19:02

Sorry, Drom, I thought you meant you had proper mentalled it for ages down the road! Blush

PollyPoo · 04/01/2011 19:28

Congrats on the boy flavour! That is fab news, I'm so pleased for you. Grin

Well, it seems that hopefully we won't have much longer to find out what flavour ours is, as my waters went at 7pm! Had reflexology at lunchtime, 7 hrs later things are starting. Thank bloody gawd....

Just had second mild contraction so I think it is time to ring the hossie. TG is busy filling the birthing pool as well as trying to get a very excited Boo ready for bed. I am sat on an inco pad on the sofa trying to figure out the tens machine. Ma is on standby to come down first thing tomorrow to help with Boo. I am SOOOOOO excited* I am finally going to meet my baybee!!!!! (and yes, I think overuse of exclamation marks in this case is perfectly reasonble). [grin}

Wish me luck ma biatches!

  • and a little bit scared. Eeek!

Ah lovely news re the blue flava score and also your early scan biteme Does it feel a wee bit more real? Mine was a 10 weeks too so very tiny and a bit blurry , you will get a bloody shock when you see the next scan thats all I can say :D

TB wants to find out what we are having but doesn't want to tell anyone else. I think this will be nigh on impossible. He has also banned me from telling you lot because of my RL friends on here (sorry boo n *cinco if u are there)) which I am very Blush and :{ about but I think I have to respect his wishes, at least for a week until he accidentally tells someone and it all comes out :o

:o at droms running for bus 'scare' I went shopping for 5 hours, pretty sure my baybee is fine but I am wrecked! Was a bit of a fail on the legging front as H&M have run out but as I managed to buy the wring size trousers so I am going to have to go back in at some point anyway (humph) But I got some of the other bits I was after and also some fabulous and bargainous purple patent and suede Mary Janes with a block heel from Clarks of all places for only £22. I have told TB they are also Maternity wear Wink Nearly succumbed to some really cute sleep suits in Mothercare sale but managed to reel myself in.

Right supposed to be going out but think I need a lie down first.

rocketleaf · 04/01/2011 19:34
