That floats on high o'er vales and hills
When all at once I saw a crowd
Of cackling, quaffing, ne-er-do-wells

Pull up a seat, grap a glass of vino and a piece of sushi, it's Delitime again.

Good scan news scorps

MrsFC · 15/11/2010 16:05

Thanks y'all, it does feel like a worry has lifted now I have to say!

Wonderful news score, there's nothing like that first scan is there. So pleased all is well.

And loving all the hoofing baby stories from muse and drom! Mine does do that occasionally, but the FC is always too busy watching Trawlermen or Grand Designs to be bothered to look!

What a lovely day in the deli today.

Scorpette · 15/11/2010 16:12

Orchid, was not at the Regal hossie, but the other one. We might move nearer the Regal one, but I'd quite like to stay with this one (which is allowed), I was that impressed.

My parents popped round and went melty at the lovely pics (four of 'em). I don't think they even looked at me or TYF once! We all agree the baby already looks like him [not at all fanciful emoticon] They are so happy too. Can't wait to tell the ILs (they might even express emotion!).

BTW, due date is now 18th May. Although we have a private name for the baby, on here, I'm going to call her/him Isadora, because it was giving us a proper free-form dance performance Grin

Scorpette · 15/11/2010 16:23

PS Glad that Bob is kicking merrily away, Muse. We'll have to set up our own mini PESH dance troupe, eh? Wink

RunLyraRun · 15/11/2010 16:45

Hello PESHes, just popping in to say many, many congratulations to LGG on BFP, and to Scorps for scan. Lovely lovely news x 2 which has warmed my heart on this chilly day .

ginhag · 15/11/2010 18:28

Great scan news from scorp.... and fantastic piss-stick news from ladyg!!!

MrsFC · 15/11/2010 18:32

GIIIIIIINNNNNN!!!!!!! Don't stay away so long!

Muser · 15/11/2010 20:24

When do we get ScorpScanpics? I wanna see miniScorps.

PollyPoo · 15/11/2010 21:10

Yay for GG! Congrats me darlin'! And wonderful scan news for Scropes, I'd love to be a fly on the wall when you tell the in-laws. Do you think MIL's face will crack?! And lovely news of kickingBob. Grin I love watching my belly contort, I think I will miss it when the baybee comes out.

I am tired. I think it is time for bed. Sorry it is not a very long post, I do hope I haven't missed anyone out.

Scorpette · 15/11/2010 23:23

Pic is up in the Uvver Place :) Trying to transfer the scan was a nightmare.

SilverSky · 16/11/2010 04:34

swit MB (Ma Boy) was born at 23:52 so you were miles ahead of me!

Fab scan news scorpo. Tis veh emotional seeing ya baybee and hearing the heartbeat.

How quickly is this list moving?? Bloody fast!!!!!

Medee · 16/11/2010 10:06

MrM felt the baby last night, kept making little movements just where his hand wasn't, but enough for him to feel it. It was lovely.

Scorpette · 16/11/2010 12:11

Awwwww, that must've been so wonderful for both of you. No - for all three of you :)

Can't wait to be able to feel my tiny dancer practising her moves!

LadyGoneGaga · 16/11/2010 12:21

Me too. I think it was the best bit about being pregnant. I actually really missed it for ages when Mini-G was out - felt weird with nothing in there!

Scorps I couldn't see your pic on t'other place. Am I being dim?

Scorpette · 16/11/2010 12:50

Sorry, GG, am trying to upload it to MN :)

Scorpette · 16/11/2010 13:28

Scan pic is now up on my MN profile.

laurielou · 16/11/2010 15:39

Scorps your scan pic is amaze! Who'd have thunk it - a real baybee Grin

Will try & sort mine this eve too - Mr Loz currently has it showing his probably very un-interested work colleagues.

Medee you've made my eyes damp. That's a lovely image.

Blimey, I've gone all soft.........

My boss asked me if I fancied going out for some chocolate cake to celebrate. I asked him "Celebrate what?". Fecking numpty. Chocolate cake was lovely though.

Medee · 16/11/2010 15:53

my new French colleague was asking questions, and didn't know the English for "echogram"; once I worked out she meant ultrasound I flourished my pics - not sure she actually wanted to see them, but hey!

LadyGoneGaga · 16/11/2010 15:54

Oooh Scorps - there's a baby in your tummy and everyfink! Very sweet.

My brain is turning to mush already. Completely forgot my printer pin (had to ask IT for it), forgot the name of the girl who sits next to me, went a bit dippy when talking about the beautiful eyes of the phtocopying guy downstairs. Not right . I only conceived 12 blinking days ago!!!!!!!!! Got to give a vey important presentation tomorrow too, oh dear.

Muser · 16/11/2010 16:04

It's the excitement LadyGoingGaga. Bet your presentation goes brilliantly.

I have just bought a Kari-me sling on Ebay. So I have a sling and 3 baby gros. I don't need anything else do I? I also have a very detailed email from The Nappy Lady advising me what reusable nappies would suit my requirements.

Scorpette · 16/11/2010 18:11

Aw, fanks. Isadora is a diva already! Grin

Glad everyone else whips their scan pics out at the slightest opportunity.

Gaga, it's perfectly normal that your brain is all a-tizzy at the mo. Hope your presentation went well :)

Medee · 16/11/2010 18:29

Theatre brochure has just arrived; Avenue Q finally makes it to Aberdeen, running 8-12 March. Mmm, dilemmas, dilemmas. I loved it so much in London I think I am willing to take the risk that I will be (a) comfortable enough in a theatre for 2 hours, (b) not in labour.

Muser · 16/11/2010 19:30

Go for it, I bet you'd easily sell the tickets if you couldn't go in the end. I love Avenue Q.

OP posts:
LadyGoneGaga · 16/11/2010 19:30

Oooh, Medee. I used the Nappy Lady - just bought everything they recommended in those quantities and they were spot on too, needed it all. I love my cloth nappies and the best thing is we can reuse them for free this time. In fact I will have no need to buy very much at all Sad

I have a nice Moby wrap which MiniG loved when he was little. But might treat myself to a lovely new patterned ring sling too (with the nappy money obv).

Pres is tomorrow am - have to leave house at bloomin' 7am to get to that London for 9:30. Meh.

Muser · 16/11/2010 20:03

That was me with the nappies, not Medee! Which ones did you get LadyG? I've had different brand advice from other people so not sure whether to go with Nappy Lady or not.
