That floats on high o'er vales and hills
When all at once I saw a crowd
Of cackling, quaffing, ne-er-do-wells

Pull up a seat, grap a glass of vino and a piece of sushi, it's Delitime again.

MrsFC That sounds like an excellent plan! No way would you want to be induced after a c-section!

Casserole · 15/11/2010 12:20

Gagaga wonderful news, very happy for you. Sending you Velcrovibes and this here slab of Brie.

MrsFC that all sounds good. I'm fairly sure I'm going for an elective this time so was nice to have the recovery thing confirmed. I am v excited about 12pt's sweepstake, too. After that can we do guess the sweets in the jar?

laurielou · 15/11/2010 12:26

LadyG that is fantabulous news! Well done.

Also a big well done & congratulations to Okie & Reggie

Scorps Pliz to be reporting soon.

Blimey, it all go here...........

Muser · 15/11/2010 12:26

Wonderful news Gaga! We have an industrial stapler over here we could use to staple the little BOC in place.

Medee · 15/11/2010 12:30

Fantastic News gaga, sending sticky vibes.

And good news, MrsFC!

Ariesgirl · 15/11/2010 12:33

Cass I'm not entirely sure being the sweet and naive thing that I am, but I think you're being a bit rude. Are you?

Shall we start at 9 lb?

Orchid12 · 15/11/2010 12:33

WOOOOOOOOOOWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEE for she'salady What exciting times we are currently living in! Does that mean you're a July baybeee layer too? I also think I've got a blue one on board!

Mrs FC great news on the plan of attack being one you are happy with. V. pleased you're got good people sorting you out.

Scorps come and show us your piccies pliz!!

Chez Orchid is currently still very sickly. It really is a good job that we do such a good job of forgetting this bit, otherwise we would all be only children. I feel so horribly bleurgh all the time and am running out of ideas of how to deal with it. I have taken the day off work today as I am sick after every meal and can't face my longest teaching day feeling like this. When I was PG with mini O I managed to get through 10 weeks of 9am lectures standing on a stage with 200 students looking at me whilst shaking and having just vommed. I think I am more wussy this time but I just can't do it Sad. I am going to brave going out soon and get some anti sickness bands and some B6 to see if it helps. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Ariesgirl · 15/11/2010 12:34

.....DELETE POST DELETE POST DELETE POST DELETE POST DELETE POST DELETE.....

Clearly I misread it and as such, I'm the one with the questionable taste in jokes. I just saw the word "sweep" you see...

Muser · 15/11/2010 12:39

I hope everything is going well in Scorpsland .

Casserole · 15/11/2010 12:43

No rudeness intended... just went off on a summer fete tangent.

Orchid12 · 15/11/2010 12:43

Rie and Heads great to see you guys Smile (well apart from Ries taste in jokes in that is Wink)

LadyGoneGaga · 15/11/2010 13:05

Yes Orchid but only just! 28th July according to FF based off the ov date. Went into labour with Mini-G on his due date (born day after following 24 hours of joy) so may make July. Likely to be a fellow Leo though! What date are you?

I too am fretting re: Scorps. Hopefully she has gone out to do some celebratory shopping fuelled up on Gaviscon.

Scorpette · 15/11/2010 13:45

I'm here! And so is my perfect, gorgeous, wriggly baybee! Grin We were there for over 3 bloody hours! Not that I could care less, as everyone was so wonderful, caring, thoughtful and helpful (could've done without a teeny 6 stone waif nurse weighing me, mind Wink) and we got to see our baby! I only drank half a small bottle of water but didn't require dildocam (huzzah). Baby was perfect size, dated as 13+5, kept jiving and kicking, the nuchal translucency was completely normal and the nasal bridge present and normal (huzzah) and of course, it is the most beautiful foetus in the entire world, ever. I shall never forget the look on TYF's face when we saw baby on the screen for the first time My eyes were moist and I was choked up but I managed not to bawl :)

And yes, it's just one, you gits! They told me some women do get a big bump early (like my mum did). BP and urine normal. Spoke to a lovely medical student and then the consultant, who suggested different drucks for my reflux (as these ones are giving me severe headaches - I've not taken any today as can't bear another) and a better druck for headaches (an anti-depressant which has the effect of relieving headaches) and complimented me on my 'mature' attitude to labour (I ain't saying yes or no to anything, will take it as it comes, water birth if everything's cool) and best of all, he thinks I'm fine to have a MW-led birth, on the proviso that we remember that because of my health ishoos, I'll prolly tire much quicker and easier than other differds.

One wonderful thing was that the nurse doing the bloods for Down's testing said I could ring her personally from Friday onwards to get the results as they normally take up to 3 weeks and there's a big party for my Dad's 70th next week and I won't be able to hide my pg if we're still waiting for results (I kept telling her I didn't expect special treatment, but she insisted. How lovely is that?!).

Well, that's it in a nutshell. TYF was great and it was a lovely experience. The hospital is very clean and everyone was super-professional.

Huzzah for LGGG! Sending you velcrolicious snogs of congratulations :)

And yay for MrsFC for sorting out your birth plan. Sounds like you're in good hands

Thanks for everyone's wishes and fretting. MWAH!

TwinkleToes76 · 15/11/2010 13:51

Hurray for Scorpette-ette's big screen debut. Sounds just lovely and I'm already eager to hear about when you tell your family at the big bash. x

Muser · 15/11/2010 14:12

To continue the good news. Normally Bob is quite shy and as soon as TBG tries to feel the kicks they stop. However, last night Bob put on quite a show and my belly was jiggling away as it got booted from the inside. Cue much delighted laughter from TBG. Bless him.

LadyGoneGaga · 15/11/2010 14:22

Smashing news, Scorpulina. It's a wonderful moment. Grin xxx

Orchid12 · 15/11/2010 15:03

So pleased to hear all is well scorpulicous Grin. Did you go to the regal hozzie or the other one? Have heard good things about both but because of where we live I'll be at the regal one. Can we see a piccie?

Lady the 28th is my wedding anniversary so is a good date in my mind! My EDD is 6th July according to me, but something like the 23rd June according to my silly doctor who couldn't figure out that having a non-standard cycle throws things a little!

Muse glad Bob is kicking merrily. 'Tis such a nice feeling.

CurlyCasper · 15/11/2010 15:26

Orchie, my cousin brings baybees into the world at the regal hossie over there. Will have to keep tabs and see if either of you get her Smile

CurlyCasper · 15/11/2010 15:27

Oh, and excellent to hear of the bouncing babbymuse bonding with BobDad!

laurielou · 15/11/2010 15:45

scorps that sounds wonderful.

muse yey for kicking Bob.

Sorry to be a bit 1-liney. I'm vay busy today & whilst I'm feeling great I'm going to do as much as I can.
