That floats on high o'er vales and hills
When all at once I saw a crowd
Of cackling, quaffing, ne-er-do-wells

Pull up a seat, grap a glass of vino and a piece of sushi, it's Delitime again.

PerfectDromedary · 15/11/2010 11:14

GAGAOohlalaOhmigod! Amazing, amazing news! Congratulations!

MrsFC · 15/11/2010 11:21

LADEEEEEEEE!!! Brilliant news! Lovely to have you. Here - have a brie baguette. We want you to stay.

How was your scan score? Did you have to wait long?

I had my 'OMG are you sure it's not a horse inside you' appointment today, following my growth scan on Friday. MUCH excitement I actually saw my consultant!!! I had the same one eight years ago for the boy child, never clapped eyes on him - but he is real.

Anyway - he confirmed that 'yup, he's a whopper alright', and I now have an actual birth plan. My birth with the boy was a bit of a nightmare as I've said before. Three days of failed induction followed by a section. Now, I have my head around having to have a section again, whatever gets my baby out safe & all that, but it was the three days in hospital just WAITING that completely did me in. So... he has suggested that I wait till 40+12 and then if nothing happens then go straight to the section - no faffing around. I'm delighted. OBVIOUSLY I would rather have a VBAC, but this is the next best option. He also confirmed that planned sections DO have a better recovery rate than emergency ones, so that would be another bonus.

Lovely man, lovely NHS. I'm really pleased. Grin

Headbanger · 15/11/2010 11:21

Dear, dear LGG, I am so thrilled for you I have faceache from grinning. Many congrats, old thing, and a very unBESHly squeeeeeeeeze :)

Headbanger · 15/11/2010 11:23

And hurrah for the NHS, MrsFC ... Glad you've got something you can be happy with!

Ariesgirl · 15/11/2010 11:25

Hurrah for GG!! Well done old bean and here's hoping for a stubborn, sticky one. Excellent news.

Gawd bless the NHS MrsFC. I may have to start running a Guess the Weight sweepstake.

rocketleaf · 15/11/2010 11:33

I've said it over there but I'll say it over here AGAIN. So very very chuffed for you gaga :o:o:o

Mrs I'm glad you have a plan. It must have been awful going through all that the first time round so its good you won't have to do that again! Glad you are pleased with the outcome. Big up da NHS.

Hope score comes back with scan news before I have to leave for the lakes.

glad you are lurking m'lady. Hope all is well.

CurlyCasper · 15/11/2010 11:34

Well, that was worth rebooting my crashed computer for! Well done gagagoogoo! Very pleased for you and ready for the nekkid jigging Grin

And glad you are happy with the plans mrsFc. I know noone can plan the birth they will get, but it must feel pretty close to that, and very comforting - especially if you are producing a foal!

Nice to see therealGinshady back in these parts.

rocketleaf · 15/11/2010 11:35

Slightly scared by all the mammoth babies recently. Confused (i am not confused, its just the one that represents how I feel the closest)

TwinkleToes76 · 15/11/2010 11:38

LadyGG!! Congrats, that is fantastic news! Lend you some of my superglue?

GinnyGinGin where have you been?? Hope everything going well for you.

LadyGoneGaga · 15/11/2010 11:42

Aw fanks everybody. Can't quite believe it. Am a bit sh*tting myself tbh but hopefully will all work this time. Have felt very pregnant since 5 or 6dpo so hoping it is asserting itself nicely. Early feeling i have is that it is a boy (I felt the one I lost may have been a girl and Mini G is a boy). Am a mentalist but a happy one Grin

Hope Scorps scan is going well. Come back and tell us xxxx

PerfectDromedary · 15/11/2010 11:47

Good luck for scans, Scorpula.

MrsFC That all sounds brilliantly positive, and bloody good show the NHS.

Rocket Am actually weirdly less terrified because lots of people seem to have given birth safely to mammoth babies - more scary when there are horror stories, I fink.
