That floats on high o'er vales and hills
When all at once I saw a crowd
Of cackling, quaffing, ne-er-do-wells

Pull up a seat, grap a glass of vino and a piece of sushi, it's Delitime again.

MrsFC · 12/11/2010 09:12

WOW! What a whopper - stirling work there moomoo!!!
Congratulations and don't be tempted to look down at the damage to your undercarriage - only look at the prize!

laurielou · 12/11/2010 09:41

Moo congratulations! That is wonderful news to start my day. Good ole size too! Ignore your undercarriage, it will be fine. Well done, x

Sorry to post & run yesterday, my scan was all good. Baby prodded into a spot of gymnastics, which was fab. Told my parents who were stunned, sister, who I thought was going to faint & my Nana who cried with joy. Then she shouted at her dog for jumping on me. She has a Yorkie Grin

Backinthebox · 12/11/2010 09:48

Moo! Congrats! A HUUUUUGE boy. I can speak from experience and say that I have a vague inkling of what your down-below may be resembling atm, but fear not - it has an amazing ability to heal itself up. For the first week I felt like all my innards were going to drop out whenever I got up. The way to deal with this is not to get up, and have everyone run around after you. That doesn't last long, so milk it while you can. Then after about 10 days everything started to get a bit more normal again, and at 5 weeks all was well enough to actually get on a horse.

My top tips are have a bath with tea tree and lavender oil in morning and night for the first week - keeps it clean and has antibacterial and healing properties. Put the oil in a spoonful of milk before you put it in the bath - helps it disperse better. I also got a little spray bottle and put clean water and some of the oils in there too, and after using the loo I had a little spray to clean off and then dabbed (don't wipe!) with the softest loo roll you can get your hands on.

And NO GOINg OUT, for anything. Not even a pint of milk. That's what OHs and friends are for.

PerfectDromedary · 12/11/2010 10:02

lozza You are a VERY NAUGHTY GIRL! Was starting to worry that everything was ok. Am delighted for you.

Muser · 12/11/2010 10:07

You had us worried there laurie. Glad everything was ok. You're having a baby!

OP posts:
rocketleaf · 12/11/2010 10:16

Phew, glad it went well lozzer

moo I guess now the plastic jug makes sense! Hope it heals up nice and quick, bet you cant even feel it when you look at your gorgeous boy :o

Medee · 12/11/2010 10:23

Hurrah for BabyMoo!

And good scan news, Laurie - don't disappear like that again, we had virtual search parties out for you.

Scorpette · 12/11/2010 11:14

HUZZAH for Babymoo! That was quite some calf you laid there, Moo. So sorry about the undercarriage - but keep your eyes on the prize (just wait till I'm on here whining every 5 mins about me downstairs after laying and remind me I said that!) Grin

After all that waiting, he decided to shoot out, eh? Menz, tchuh! Wink

Lozza! So glad the scan went well! Must've been so lovely to be able to witness your family's joy for you :) But be careful with that yorkie - I reckon he might weigh even more than a cake! Shock

Tum is worse than ever. Doc is coming round in a bit. I will a) bollock 'em for being so useless and letting me suffer for so long and b) get some proper drucks (thank gawd, the stuff for severe acid probs don't affect baybees at all). Actually, I should probably get the drucks THEN bollock them, shouldn't I?! The pain is so unwavering (even yesterday after the Gav there was still a core of pain) that I'm worried some lasting damage has been done. 2 months of acid constantly splashing on the oesophagus? Can't be good Sad

Muser · 12/11/2010 11:54

I hope they sort you out Scorpio.

Can it be 5.30pm now please? I am ready for the weekend.

OP posts:
AlpinePony · 12/11/2010 12:15

Absolutely wonderful news laurie - does this mean you are actually genuinely diffed? With a baybee and everyfink? Pls to reveal how many?

Scorpette · 12/11/2010 13:05

I has drucks! One pill, in the morning, turns off the acid. I felt like snogging the lovely LadyDoc who was soooo sympathetic. Also got an apology for other Doc not listening and an admittance that GPs do sometimes wrongly attribute everything to morning sickness or early pg woes (I was very nice, not at all shouty or accusative). Frankly, I didn't care any more - I has drucks! Wish me luck it works!

Muser · 12/11/2010 13:13

Hooray for drucks!

OP posts:
PollyPoo · 12/11/2010 13:55

Well done on the drucks Scorps, hope they work!

TwinkleToes76 · 12/11/2010 14:36

Congratumalations Moo!!!

Muser · 12/11/2010 14:49

I have been counting. If Reggie has laid that is 18 baybees from the Deli now. 18!

And what is OhhhhhOkieCokieCokie up to? Laying? Quietly freaking out about 9lb babies?

OP posts:
laurielou · 12/11/2010 15:33

Scorps Woo hoo for drucks! Just sorry you need to have them in the first place.

Ski Apparently I iz really really diffed with a real life baby. Though I still cannot get my head around that what is on the screen is an image of my tum. It just feels like the latest DVD we've received from Love Film Grin. Oh, and just the one in there, thank Jebus.

Moo I can't stop thinking & smiling to myself about how quickly babymoo came along when he put his mind to it.

MrsFC · 12/11/2010 15:58

A Dr paid a home visit to you for your morning sickness score? Fuck, that is a brilliant service - you wouldn't get that in London I can tell you. That's great. Glad you are finally feeling better.
