Just got my BFP this morning and so excited! Managed this conception while DH was out of the country so very chuffed that it worked! Already have two DS, one who is 3.2 and an August birthday and one who is 16 months and a June birthday so bring on the Summer parties!

Have never been part of an antenatal club on here before but as this is planned to be my last pregnancy am hoping to find some other July mums to share the journey with (although know I am very early!) Am already worrying how the birth will go as DS2 was born unexpectedly in the kitchen after a 90 min labour with the midwife only just there to catch him, so am a bit worried if subsequent labours are supposed to go quicker whether I will have anyone with me for this one, but at least I have a while to go yet!

Blueberryjam I think I'm feeling the same way as you. We had a contraceptive 'failure' and here I am... I'm hoping that by talking about it here I will start feeling better and excited about it.

Congratulations to every one who is here. We aren't telling anyone for as long as possible TBH because I'm not sure of reactions and because I want to get my head around it first.
Am feeling icky and tired, which is why I did a test TBH, so am shovelling food in like I'm starving.
12 weeks feels like such a long time away doesn't it? I should phone the doctors really but I don't want to yet, I suppose I'm a bit in denial.

Twit DD was a surprise and I felt numbs for ages. People kept asking if I was excited but I just couldn't feel excited - I was so shocked. It passes and excitement kicks in.

I'm not telling many people at the moment because I don't want to have to talk "baby" this early. I want time to get used to the idea of having another one before everyone knows.

I like sharing here though, that's a bit different.

I know what you mean Hulla. I had a surprise with ds3 as well, [failed pill that time] so it's familiar territory. I think if all goes well after this one, I will ask to have my tubes tied and DH will have his done too.
Its so awful to think that my reaction to being pregnant is 'meh', especially when so many people are overjoyed.

It'll come, hopefully all will be well at the 12 week scan and I'll start getting excited. It doesn't help that at the moment being pregnant consists purely of feeling 'meh'.

Twit- in some ways I'm quite envious of you feeling "meh". I'm so ridiculously excited it is actually quite embarrassing.

Hi everyone, can I join you?

BFP 30th Oct after ttc #1 for about 18 months. Had a mmc last time I was pregnant 7 years ago so although I am thrilled I am also terrified. Think I'm due around 11th July although dates are currently guesswork as last period was 26th Aug! Have spent the last week having blood tests and scans after suspected ectopic and then concerns my HCG levels weren't increasing enough but fingers crossed everything is now progressing fine. Dr thought she could see the flicker of a heartbeat this morning so hopefully things are looking up. Although it still seems to be smaller than it should be (I thought I was 6 weeks today). Have 4th scan of this pregnancy next Monday and hopefully we will then see little bean plus heartbeat.

Have added myself as 11th but may need to change it when get results of next scan.

Congratulation everyone. Found out a few days that I'm pregnant. This is my first pregnancy. I think I'm due 20th July but have fairly irregular periods so fully expecting that to change further down the line.

I'm having loads of symptoms already, waves of nausea throughout the day, terrible spots, starving most of the time, weeping at at least one news item a day and sore boobs like you wouldn't believe - even the water from the shower hitting them hurt. What an exciting journey!

Hello to everyone and contrats on your pregnancies. I'm 6+2, first pregnancy. It's all a bit new. Sore boobs - definitely! Sickness, on and off but was horrid this weekend. Told my parents and inlaws but otherwise keeping it very much under wraps. I think I'm due on 9th July using one of the online due date predictors.

Oh I also meant to add, I've had ME/CFS for 3.5 years so I've got that to contend with as well - and rather annoyingly many of my ME symptoms are similar to pregnancy. Has anyone else had anything similar to deal with?

Pesha - I noticed you have MS, is it affecting you any differently in pregnancy?

Wow lots of new people. Seems we are getting busy!

We told our families yesterday. In-Laws house as very busy and it took 3 hours to get PILs into the same room! But they are very pleased.
Then over to my family. My parents and my SIL (DB's wife) cried, which was really touching. My Mum is so excited.

I am 4+2 today. Still ravenous and trousers a bit tight, but anxiously waiting for more symptoms. Apparently my Mum wasn't very symptom heavy til past 8 weeks, so that is good to know.

It is beginning to feel a bit more real. DP talks about "the baby" and "I'm going to be a Daddy" but I am still at the "it" and "when things change a bit next summer" stage. Sometimes I just get a wave of excitment and it is great.

Congratulations everyone!

I just found out I am pregnant with DC2, due on 23rd of July. We already have one DD who is nearly 19 months. It took a year (And a miscarriage) to conceive her, so I am still in shock that this has happened so quickly (We weren't even properly trying yet, just 'having fun' on holiday before paying attention to my cycle when we got back!)

Added to that, I am concerned about the amount of alcohol, antibiotics & painkillers I have taken over the last few weeks! (I was sick while we were away).

I am excited but also terrified...I am suddenly wondering what we have done and how we will afford/cope with another!

Hi Brightside, congratulations on youre pregnancy, im a bit the same, took nearly a year and having test to fall pregnant first time round, had cancer last year when my DS was 13 weeks old and told the chance of having kids after radiotherapy was 60/40 (in my favour) and ive just fallen on without really trying.
Its a bit of a shock isnt it when your not expecting it, a happy one at that though.
