Due July 2011?

Just got my BFP this morning and so excited! Managed this conception while DH was out of the country so very chuffed that it worked! Already have two DS, one who is 3.2 and an August birthday and one who is 16 months and a June birthday so bring on the Summer parties!

Have never been part of an antenatal club on here before but as this is planned to be my last pregnancy am hoping to find some other July mums to share the journey with (although know I am very early!) Am already worrying how the birth will go as DS2 was born unexpectedly in the kitchen after a 90 min labour with the midwife only just there to catch him, so am a bit worried if subsequent labours are supposed to go quicker whether I will have anyone with me for this one, but at least I have a while to go yet!

Hello all,
Can I join please and be added to the list.

I am 5+5 today and found out last week. I had a previous MC at the beginning of October so am stunned to be PG again so quick.

So my stats are EDD 17.7.11 PG#3 age 36 (DD8,DD6)

I am feeling ok in myself. Have achy boobs that feel like they are heavy and squashed in the mornings, dont feel sick so much as a little nauseaus every now and then but thats about it.Grin
Would be nice to have people to share this with as havent told anyone in real life. I think people will think we are insane and to be honest I dont think work will be too thrilled either Sad
Its funny how one or two babies are a happy occasion but number three onwards people make sometimes negative comments Sad.

So in a way I am sooo nervous about telling people !

Dear all,
need to check out of the thread. I have been confirmed with a miscarriage at 7 weeks- Embryo has no heart beat any more but all the placenta and membranes are still growing. Unpleasant to still feel sick for no good reason.
Anyway my EPU was great, very kind and I am booked to have an ERPC (small operation to empty the womb ) as I just can't go through the whole bleeding thing and manage 3 active children and a job without being able to make some plans.
since I am the oldest in the thread it shouldn't worry anyone- I was quite rightly the one it should happen to and since it is a crazy afterhought I shall perk up very soon.
it is our third misc though and i wonder that my character has been well formed already.
Anyway we shall give it one more go and see what happens.

The best of luck to all of you- for those first timers you are about to embark on the best rollercoaster of your lives- it must be or we wouldn't want to do it all again. We have enjoyed our children so much and think they are the best gift we can give to society and we are only just good enough as parents! Smile

LadyGoneGaga · 19/11/2010 13:03

Really sorry to hear this. Take care, Crazy. Hope the next throw of the dice is a lucky one for you. It is all too common Sad. Many thanks for your good wishes.

LadyGoneGaga · 19/11/2010 13:05

Welcome Inbetweener. I recognise you from my lurkings on the mc board. Hoping for extra sticky beans this time for both of us. Am hoping that my body is extra well prepared for pregnancy after last time. That's the theory anyway! Grin

Peed on another internet cheapy this morning and am getting a pleasing darkening from not visible to a half decent line.

Scottygirl10 · 19/11/2010 13:09

Hello ladies, I'm a newby graduate from the July bus :) first baby, due roughly 6th July, tho having an 8 week scan on Wednesday so will know real dates after that. Have the most hideous all day all night nausea!!! X

inbetweener · 19/11/2010 13:50

Hi lady I recognise you too Grin !! Hope this is succesful for both of us. I am petrified.

Am at work at the mo and coleague who has been on maternity leave just bought her 5 month old son in for a staff lunch. OMG he is soooo scrummy and I just wanted to shout out " Im having one of those lol !!!"
I already have two girls so a boy would be lovely but honestly, I dont care, just a long as it arrives happy and healthy I genuinely do not care Smile

Stangirl · 19/11/2010 14:05

Crazy as a fellow oldie i was particularly moved by your post. I am so sorry to hear your news and wish you all the very best for the future.

youpie · 19/11/2010 14:21

Did another test this morning to make sure I am definitely pregnant before making an appointment with the midwife Blush
Was getting worried as symptoms are still missing in action.

mamafoof & Crazyafterthought very sorry to hear that :( sending you lot's of hugs.

Hulla ds started to go a bit weird on the breast ... he has started playing with them Shock rather than feeding, I think it's time to stop because it is freaking me out a little.

LadyGoneGaga · 19/11/2010 14:22

I have a boy but honestly don't mind what I have. I have a feeling it's another boy though Grin. DP is one of three boys so we'll see. DS desperate for a baby brother (he doesn't know am pg, just been saying it for ages).

Somehow feel my symptoms are a bit more definite than last time (although still really early days for me) but hopefully that is a good sign.

How many sticks have you wee'ed on so far? I'm terrible...

MissLolita · 19/11/2010 16:36

Crazyafterthought I'm so sorry to hear your news xxx

Icklelilly · 19/11/2010 17:06

Crazy, thanks for your words, I hope I become as adept at managing the curveballs that life occasionally throws at us and accept it with half as much grace. Your in my thoughts. xx

scrivette · 19/11/2010 17:18

So sorry to hear your news Crazy. Thank you for your best wishes in what must have been a difficult post for you.

emmywoo · 19/11/2010 17:35

Well, I have booked an early scan for 7th December (private) to make sure everything ok and for peace of mind, however god knows how the hell i am going to be able to wait that long!!!!
Felt okish today, had lower back pain this morning, is that normal?

xxxx

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2010 19:44

emmywoo, i am increasingly wanting a private scan im only 6w now i hate to think of another 6weeks wait at least for a scan....getting increasingly paranoid. Tho i have been feeling really sick and drained all day. found the supermarket shop really tough earlier particularly the fresh meat...ewww!

emmywoo · 19/11/2010 19:56

Hi nicolamumof3, it is a dating scan and to check if everything is ok, it is £60.00 which I am hoping will be worth every penny. xxxx

sues1974 · 19/11/2010 21:45

so sorry to her your sad news crazy. Hope things work out for you next time. im one of the oldies on here and it is worrying especially when symptoms calm down but that doesnt mean anything either way.

highheelsandequations · 20/11/2010 09:57

So sorry to hear your news crazy, sending hugs your way xx

nicolamumof3 · 20/11/2010 10:03

feeling truly truly awful. so nauseous i can't think of food. not good with my lo's here to look after. yuck.

LadyGoneGaga · 20/11/2010 10:46

Sorry you're feeling awful Nicolamumof3 but it is a good sign in terms of your hormones etc.

Mitchell81 · 20/11/2010 17:53

I completely sympathise with the feeling sick, I feel sick from the minute I wake up until I go to bed. I have done so for every pregnancy. Hmm Grin

nicolamumof3 · 20/11/2010 19:57

i've got seabands on and not sure if they are helping but i did manage to eat a huge dinner Grin i feel so exhausted as slept terribly with the constant night time/day time nausea the past week. Will see how i feel in the morning. Will be thrilled if they work.
