Hello, Ella! Welcome to the world. :) Congratulations, jennimoo - glad you got your waterbirth.
Enjoy your new daughter! xxx

39 weeks.

shieldbug · 27/09/2010 09:03

Hooray! Congratulations jennimoo and Ella. Wow, it's all happening now.

I'm off to do some work in the library so I hope nothing kicks off when I'm there! Could be seriously embarrassing.

37+2

Vikks · 27/09/2010 09:18

Congratulations Jennimoo!
What a weekend for babies! Who wants to be next.....?
I think we need a boy. x

(Just popping out for some RL tea Grin)

nymphadora · 27/09/2010 09:40

Congratulations jennimoo & welcome Ella! Shame about the HB but it's not as bad if you would have ended up there anyway.

I'm currently sat in Asda cafe while dh shops. We came for breakfast & I only got 10ft out of cafe before my legs gave out. Was only planning on a little walk but wanted to go a bit further! Good job I've got him around now as pains getting bad. I need to start writing lists though as I know we need stuff but can't remember to tell him.

I have hospital tomorrow and am compiling a list of questions about my stay. I am v concerned about being on a ward even temporarily. I have notes from MH Mw backing me for a single room. I also wondered about getting up & about if the SPD doesn't go straight away as I wont be able to do the shuffle/holding stomach walk & will crutches put pressure on wound? I'm also concerned about the distance from the 4 bed bay to toilet if I still need crutches, would this bump me up the priority list?

BionicEar · 27/09/2010 09:42

Congratulations Jennimoo! Sorry you didn't get your HB but at least you still got to use birth pool at the hossy.

Tis exciting all these babies putting in an appearance even if they have ignored the fact they are meant to be Oct babies! Grin

Well guess the race is well and truely on - wonder who will be next?!

Elsa123 · 27/09/2010 09:59

Congratulations Jennimoo! Wow, another girl! I've updated the stats list to feature the new arrivals Grin.

I'm driving 2.5 hours down south this afternoon and dropped my DH off this morning who is heading 2.5 hours North of here. He has requested the Universe not to bring me into labour today Smile.

Tyson86 · 27/09/2010 10:02

36+5(10 days to go)

Hermya321 · 27/09/2010 10:13

Congratuluations Jenimoo to you and Ella I'm very jealous that you have your little girl. I think we're all at a point where we just want our babies now aren't we.

Nymph I hope it all goes well at the hospital today.

Elsa I hope the cosmic ordering goes well.

36 weeks today!!

dontstopmenow · 27/09/2010 10:23

Wow - congrats Floozie and Jenimoo. I am sooo jealous that you have your babies but Floozie, I am so sorry that it didn't end ideally for you. I really hope she is out of the incubator soon so you can do cuddling. Thinking of you :)

Ivytheterrible · 27/09/2010 10:31

Wow 3 babies! Congrats meanbeans Floozie and jenimoo

I had a show last Tues but no other signs yet! Last week of work for me this week so hopefully I can get through to the weekend OK and I'd really like the baby to come on Sat please [looks to stars emotion]

Right who's next?

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 27/09/2010 10:52

Congratulations Jenimoo and Ella wonderful news!!

My mum had a really vivid dream I gave birth this thurs night, so we shall see, I got it wrong in our sweepstake on here. Getting fed up :(

Elsa123 · 27/09/2010 11:17

Fingers crossed for Thursday Seashells! Right, I must really get on- I have to pack the car with baby stuff etc. Feeling all very real, moving all the stuff down south. However, what I'd really like to do is make some cookies....

I wonder if I'll ever get this nesting thing? Has anyone else had it/got it?

I may be offline until Friday as we have no internet down south. If thats the case, I hope that you all have a great week. x x

Vikks · 27/09/2010 11:38

I wonder how Loobyboo is getting on. I'm sure she was being induced today......

No news from KSal either?

I just want more baby news Grin!

RooBear · 27/09/2010 11:47

ok people I go away for a few days and we have 3 arrivals on this thread and 1 on the other! congratulations to all. I could still be 5wks at this rate and still at work, your making me even more impatient! I did put my hospital bags in the car this morning trying to tempt fate! 36+2

SilverSky · 27/09/2010 11:50

No nesting here which HI is gutted about. He has asked me what I am doing today! Going out to lunch !!

37 wks

Hermya321 · 27/09/2010 13:28

I'm going to be doing my last bits of baby shopping this week, I'm getting so excited I can't wait until my LO is here and the fact that we have arrivals on the thread makes it all the more real.

It's all very exciting!!!

Elsa123 · 27/09/2010 13:30

I know I said I was going, but I'm behind packing schedule and just got my credit card statement through with 3 fraudulent transactions on it. Grrr. Why are they always for airline tickets?! The last time was over £1000 on BA tickets and the bank actually asked me if I was sure I hadn't bought any airline tickets recently!! This time they actually just cracked on with organising to send me the paperwork etc. At least this time it was my credit card- which I got because my current account had been previously hacked into and that felt like a very personal theft. At least this one was just a credit card...and one due for renewal anyway.

FingonTheValiant · 27/09/2010 13:36

Oh that's so rubbish Elsa Still at least you're protected with a credit card - still a pain in the backside though! I hope you get it sorted soon!

DillyDora · 27/09/2010 13:53

Hi all,

WOW! This has been a very exciting read. Congratulations to meanbeans, floozie and jennimoo!!!!!!!!!!!! And all the lovely little girls! Hoping Zazie will be out of SCBU as soon as possible and that you're feeling ok floozie. Hurray hurray Mummies and Babies!

Sorry about the credit card thing Elsa must be hard to prove you are you when you're really a spy and you're really not Wink

Saw MW this morning, Tobes is 4 5ths engaged which obviously isn't much but at least he knows to put his head down. All v well with both of us, she's suggested a water birth and so I thought - fab! I think I am so prepared for the birth to be random and crazy that I keep forgetting to make plans for what I would like if all were to go to plan! Also got my TENS machine today, now must pack that hospital bag!

Big hello to everyone
xxx

sam12 · 27/09/2010 14:14

It's all go here! Congratulations to floozie and jenimoo on the new arrivals. It's great to read your stories.

I think I'm in the minority here but I want my lo to stay put at least until next Monday when we should finally be moving after yet another delay which meant had to put it off from tomorrow! Am trying not to stress and enjoy my first day of maternity leave.

Keep those babies coming

Tyson86 · 27/09/2010 15:44

I never get the nesting urge :)
I have just got back from my first ever mums and tots, and can honestly say never again, me and ds were ignored by everyone. Im quite a quiet person anyway but they were all huddled in the furthest corner with there backs to me so not exactly welcoming body language. Very glad to be home.

ILoveGregoryHouse · 27/09/2010 16:29

Aw Tyson that's rubbish. Some people are just so rude. I never go to these things for the same reason.

OP posts:
RooBear · 27/09/2010 16:34

Had the mw today, baby in the right position and its showing 2cm above the line! which freaks me out a bit as it is 38cm and I'm only 36wks. But the mw says its strong and healthy so thats the main thing. Had really bad backache today, but its not really worth getting a new chair at work for the last 2 wks is it?

thats not nice tyson I really want to make new mum friends and I'm dreading it as I'm quiet shy.
