((((hugs)))) to you.

floozie congratulations on your baby girl! What a shock for you, but thank goodness they got her out :) big hugs, hopefully the ebm does wonders for her and you will be together soon, muddling through as we all do. How long will they keep you both in? Xxx

nymphadora · 26/09/2010 18:46

Just had dh home made ice cream -YUM!

Elsa123 · 26/09/2010 19:06

Congratulations on baby Zazie Floozie! What a story. I know you didn't want to have another SCBU experience, but you held on so well considering and I am sure she'll be absolutely fine. I hope you are feeling better too. x x x Oh BTW thats exactly how I would have pronounced Zazie too Smile.

nymphadora · 26/09/2010 19:25

Sorry cross posted before! Congrats Floozie Is she doing ok despite the earliness?

FingonTheValiant · 26/09/2010 19:31

Congratulations Floozie and Zazie :o Thank goodness you were surrounded by HCPs and that they took such good care of you! Good luck with the expressing. Do you know how long she'll be in the SCBU for?

By the way, French DH is very impressed by your name choice, he's already gone to find his Zazie CD so I can listen to it :o

AbFabT · 26/09/2010 19:46

Heloo, Zazie! What a pretty name you have! Congratulations to you and your family, floozie. Glad you are both doing well. Not ideal with the burst cyst but she is out safely, and you are ok, and that's brilliant! How exciting!

Vikks · 26/09/2010 20:17

Congratulations Floozie and what a beautiful name for your daughter. I hope you'll both be at home together very soon. x x Smile

SilverSky · 26/09/2010 20:24

Floozie that sounds like an adventure and a half. Stunning name, I really like it. Congratulations to you all!

floozietoozie · 26/09/2010 20:39

Thanks for the good wishes. Zazie is doing ok right now. She's in an incubator with what's called c-pap (continuous positive air pressure), like a littje tube that sits under her nose which just keeps oxygen levels up and the incubator's keeping her warm, and they'll watch her for two days and see how she goes.

Elsa I'm glad that's how you would have pronounced the name that way. Makes me more confident other people will too.

Meansbeans your delivery sounds great. Can't see the pic either sadly. Enjoy your new wee girl. I can't wait for my first proper cuddle with Zazie.
Must try and sleep now. Will be tricky in a bright ward with lots of crying children Grin.

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 26/09/2010 20:42

Sleep well floozie- zazie is a lovely name :)

ILoveGregoryHouse · 26/09/2010 21:04

Thanks- she's very cute!

I'm trying to be next - raspberry leaf capsules, pineapple, curry today, and dh and I weighing up if sex is really necessary ?!!!

BionicEar · 26/09/2010 21:15

Just having a quick read as about to crash out for the night after spending much of day sorting spare room out with my lovely SIL help.

Meanbeansmum & Floozie congratulations on your little bundles of joy! How exciting! Although Floozie guess it wasn't very exciting the way Zazie arrived - hope you both make swift recocery.

nymphadora · 26/09/2010 21:22

Aw sweet!

Guess we are waiting on jennimoo next? Hopefully she is either in her birthing pool or snuggled in bed with a baby

moonstorm · 26/09/2010 22:47

I'd written a long post on the last thread, but somehow it didn't post.

Congratulations to meansbeans (gorgeous photo!) and to Floozie

Sorry it didn't turn out how you had hoped, Floozie but glas all is well with you both. FWIW I was told that at 35 week 99% babies have no problems whatsoever as they grow. Hope she gets out of SCBU soon. xx

Was getting worried earlier that I hadn't felt much movement, but the baby seems to have made up for it this evening.

Dh and I nearly divorced yesterday while trying to put together a Little Tykes climbing thing for ds's birthday! It's still not up, but it seems to be going togethe3r more easily now!! Grin Just want to get ds's birthday out of the way then this one can come! (Would like it to arrive in October, thoug, then it'll feel that they are a month apart!

Thinking of Jennimoo !!

Tyson86 · 26/09/2010 22:50

Awww Meanbeans she is lovely :)

ILGH Thanks for helping us see the pic :)

I want to be next, im currently having a really bad evening with indigestion, its making me struggle to breathe. Cant wait till tomorrow when it will be gone

Vikks · 26/09/2010 23:18

Meanbeans Beautiful picture.x

Thinking of Jennimoo too.........

SeaShells I've been on the pineapple today and bouncing on my ball Grin! I think I might try the tea......

lilmissmummy · 26/09/2010 23:24

Congratulations Floozie, and baby Zazie. Pretty name, looking forward to seeing pictures when you get her home! Hopefully it wont be too long.

Meansbeans, Sophia is beautiful!

shieldbug · 26/09/2010 23:39

Oh my word! I miss a dat's worth of posts and in that time we have 2 babies!

meanbeans congratulations on your beautiful daughter. What lovely names too. Glad all went well.

floozie congratulations! Sorry to hear you had such a painful and traumatic experience though. I know SCBU is the last thing you wanted, but hopefully she will be out soon. What a fabulous name!

jennimoo good luck!

37+1 and nothing exciting going on here! We did get a cot yesterday though so we're ready to go.

lilmissmummy · 27/09/2010 04:55

Aagggggghhhhh pregnancy insomnia combined with continual sneezing... What is that all about? :)

jennimoo · 27/09/2010 08:22

Ella born last night, in pool at hospital as no midwives available! would have had to come in anyway for some 'mending' and they were great here. Hopefully will get to go home today: it's do noisy here I didn't sleep much, despite Ella sleeping soundly after her busy day! So she was born at 38+5 and weighs 6lbs 10ozs. There were this week a few long walks round the shops, two pineapples, lots of bouncing, and raspberry leaf tea / capsules from 36 weeks.

SilverSky · 27/09/2010 08:30

Whoop whoop another baby!

Don't these little people realise they are sposed to be October babies!! ;-)

FingonTheValiant · 27/09/2010 08:36

YAY - Congratulations jennimoo and welcome Ella :o It's been an absolute baby race this weekend!! Thrilled for you Jennimoo, hopefully you'll be out of hospital asap, and back home to get some well deserved sleep!

I can't wait to see photos of our two newest arrivals. Sophia is gorgeous meanbeans (Thanks ILGH for the photo tip!)

I can't believe we have three already.

I'm on the max dose of raspberry leaf capsules, doing lots of ball bouncing, and I'm going to drag dh off for a go on a trampoline walk later today - but I think the baby is actually just teasing me and will be a couple of weeks yet.

38 weeks today and Envy
