Drom elsewhere on the internet I had this cot recommended for a bedside cot if you want other options: www.boots.com/en/Cosatto-Close-to-Me-Bedside-Cot_120225/

We are nearly losing fred. To avoid the last minute panic of only having 3 posts left WHO WANTS ON/OFF/UPDATING ON THE NOT LIST?

OP posts:
Scorpette · 23/09/2010 22:46

Oooh, near the end of the fred! Do I get a mention on the rota on the next one? DD: 19th May. What will my little description be (please be gentle on me!)?

PerfectDromedary · 23/09/2010 22:54

Will VaggleRock lay before end of fred? Am happy with my status and due date. Cosmo, boxy and skater all get to be graduands.

SilverSky · 23/09/2010 22:54

To confirm it's ligament pain. Gotta be.

MW appt tmw. Hopefully baby is laying correctly!

Oh and did I mention I've not got to get up for work tomorra?? ML has begun! Bring on the lie in!!!!

Scorpette · 23/09/2010 22:57

X-post! I would like adding, yes please.

Muser · 23/09/2010 23:05

I feel your statement should reference your I fear sadly now neglected baby substitutes Scorps.

Someone come up with a witty title for the next one. I have pregnancy brain and cannot.

OP posts:
organiccarrotcake · 23/09/2010 23:13

Cor you guys are chattier than on t'other side - you must have more time for some reason Wink.

mas welcome home. Angry at airline bitch. FFS. Good on you for saying something back but no, she had no right. I went out for lunch with YOB today and had a glass of wine shortly before whopping out a boobie. Just got nice smiles from the staff.

vag you can always say no to anything, if you want to.

organiccarrotcake · 23/09/2010 23:16

Oh I know what I wanted to say. I co-sleep with Comma (we have a monster bed - a normal double would be harder but then YOB and I aren't small). I didn't with LC, which was fine at the time, but he was an easier night feeder (twice then went back to sleep in his own cot in his own room after 2 weeks). Comma needs to be with us all the time - real velcro baybee - so I'd get no sleep if he wasn't in with us. I can just turn over and let him feed and go back to sleep, it's lovely.

If I only had a normal double bed I would definately buy a co-sleeping cot.

That works for us, anyway.

Scorpette · 23/09/2010 23:28

'Now having human baby after mothering squid and used sanitary towel child'? Grin

I predict a bountiful Harvest Festival of diffs with this MAD project (still don't know if I count as last of the summer differs or the first of the Autumn lot, sigh). P'raps the new title could reflect the coming of the MAD lot ('you don't have to be MAD to eat here but it helps', summat like that?)?

MrsFC · 24/09/2010 07:04

Please keep me on! I like it here, it's nice. Due 22 Jan.

SilverSky · 24/09/2010 07:06

Dumb question alert: pliz to explain MAD?

It seems the art of not waking up to pee it seems is to go to bed as late as poss.

CurlyCasper · 24/09/2010 07:25

Mass Autumn Diffment, I believe. The sequel to the Mass Summer Diffment Project Grin

i's not like you need to be up early silv! I spent ML going to bed late and getting up at about 9. Now it's 10pm to 6am ish. Just as if I was working. Mustn't grumble though, because she sleeps through. (well, I do sometimes have to insert a dummy at some point between 3.30 and 5.30)

Hope you have absolutely nothing planned for today.

rollerbaby · 24/09/2010 07:44

Just for clarity I never said co-sleeping was bad mummying!!! . I can't keep dog out of bed, so I can hardly talk!

ski hairy woof is definitely a separate creature. Although given the lack of waxing in last 8 months you might struggle to tell the difference. :)

think is time to amend my description given the exponential increase in wees during night. Something like still got an inny maybe??? It is getting flatter tho sio watch this space.

SkiHorseWonAWean · 24/09/2010 07:48

lol @ "shipping" - somehow apt VAG given the time you spent on De Nile! Grin

silver I know everyone says get as much sleep as poss, but some just don't. I don't sleep a great deal and this served me well when the baybee was born - I didn't throw all my toys out of the pram because I expected 8 hours uninterrupted!

MrsFC Can recommend Duo boots - sign up to their email - they do major sales in Jan/July. Last Jan I got boots for 60 euros which were 180.

SilverSky · 24/09/2010 08:01

hunnybunny ditto on the lady garden front. I figure au naturale is the way to go. Only cos I reckon it would be a traumatic experience to go and get it landscaped. I would probably fall off the bed or not be able to get in the right position.

Ta for the MAD explanation !!

ChoChoSan · 24/09/2010 08:09

Scorps I have you down as the last of the Summer Differs (unless of course, Laurie can make us all happy). Glad to hear you are having a pain free hippo birth like me and Honeymonster...dont know why people bother with the hurty kind. I've bought some books, but still go to bed to early to be arsed reading them, so searching for podcasts now.

Cunty, I am having a winter baybee, and would love to procure baybee items without having to actually go into a shop and buy them from a stranger . If you have not had any other requests then perhaps we can msg elsewhere?

Gin I was happy to get into maternity stuff asap, to prove I was diffed, but then started getting annoying when I realised how much it was costing (separate wardrobe for work). In fact, when I flew to NY at 5 weeks I wore maternity jeans on the flight, as previous ickleangelbabybees had me very worried about clotting/DVT/bloodflow ishoos, and my usual skinnies would have been too tight.

I am v little afflicted by pregnancy, but had a little tragic hormonal moments yesterday at work - I commented to a colleague that I had to force myself to get some lunch, (as I'd been to busy to go out at lunch time) or my baby would cry...and the thought of my ickle in utero babybee crying almost brought tears to my eyes Grin. Am I turning into a ment?

rollerbaby · 24/09/2010 08:10

Scorps I meant you above. Soz. Early doors.

silver WTF are you doing out of bed nutter????? Or are you languishing with laptop?

Boots? Who's talking about boots? I've just put my gorgeous belstaff mini heel boots on for first time in 8 months (have v exciting & glamorous day ahead aktuerlly) and can't zip the fuckers up. Under jeans though no one knows.... No doubt my back will be fucked by 6 o'clock.

maswera · 24/09/2010 08:38

Yes pliz to keep me on the notlist. Although there ain't much jungle round these parts, so hows about - Maswera, she dared to drink wine Shock, due December 11

SilverSky · 24/09/2010 08:54

honey yep outta bed. Tis a bleeding curse I tell thee.

MrsFC · 24/09/2010 09:21

ski, you are the second person to recommend Duo Boots, headbanger also says they are the bees knees. I shall investigate.

silver get back to bed. Only get up to answer the door for pizza delivery.

PerfectDromedary · 24/09/2010 09:29

Thirded for Duo, MrsFC, but they are quite lacking in the flat boots this season - have already investigated.

My boss has just bought these: www.marksandspencer.com/Footglove-Wide-Fit-Suede-Boots/dp/B003PYD0AK?_encoding=UTF8&categoryNodeID=42967030&node=432769031&mnSBrand=core&ref=sr_1_2&qid=1285316863&sr=1-2&rh=n%3A432769031%2Cp_4%3AFootglove&page= She has the same fat calf issues. I think I need them as well.

Cho I feel like I summoned you! I was only talking about you last night and lo! you have appeared. How you doin'?

ChoChoSan · 24/09/2010 09:39

I'm doing fab LadyLumps, work is really busy at the moment, so not as much posting.

I'm nearly twenty two weeks, and baybee is wriggling away now...I have my anomoly scan on Monday, and I think the next few months will fly by, as I have so much to do at work before going off on ML. Really happy that it looks like I will finally have a baybee pop out in the new year, almost FIVE years afters starting ttc!

Hope you are doing well and over the worst of sickness etc. Is your other half accepting the reality of this situation yet, or is that the real reason you have been wearing Baby on Board badge? Smile Love your cot - I am aiming to get a bedside cot, but haven't chosen one yet.

PerfectDromedary · 24/09/2010 09:59

Yah, HB and I assumed that given the timing you would be super-busy at the moment.

Wrigglingbaba! Is it my hormones that have made me feel all weepy about that? I am over-the-fucking-moon at this one.

Sickness gone, exhaustion still very firmly in place. TNB is definitely much less ostrich about the existence of baby, but neither of us will be entirely convinced until the next scan, or until the lazy little blighter starts moving.

ChoChoSan · 24/09/2010 10:11

I'm beginning to fall in love with this babster since movement started - you can't be far behind. Really glad that your sickness has passed...I am still pretty early to bad these days, but I'd rather that than sickness etc.

Would love to catch up wiv you and bangers for a quick drink if you fancy it...let me know elsewhere.

I'm off out to meet a friend for cake now....mmmm cake - a fine substitute for healthy breakfast - parasite in utero will have to live off multivitamins for today Grin
