Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
essenceofSES · 19/01/2011 20:52

Diege - hello!!!! Great to hear from you :) Hope all is well (other than usual business!)?

We are cycle buddies - I'm CD12 and had my first high on CBFM today. DH is away tonight but is booked for tomorrow night!

Heaven was...well heaven :)
Treatment rooms are separate upstairs with a playroom for mums and little ones together or you pay extra for the creche area if you're having a treatment.
They do a pilates class too on a Wednesday morning which I could possibly fit in before Jo Jingles. AIBU thought to put O into a creche for an hour on our day off together whilst I get to do pilates?

Kayzr · 19/01/2011 20:52

Slowly creeps in.

Hello, hope everyone is well.

Sorry its been so long but it has been hectic here recently. We got a puppy in December, Dylan turned 2 oh and Xmas. I stopped working in November and we are moving in with my DP in Feburary.

Just looking for some advice and support really. I had a miscarriage last week which was a huge shock to me. Just woke up friday morning in loads of pain and bleeding loads, It wasn't a planned pregnancy and I had no idea I was pregnant.

I am totally unsure how I feel about it. We wouldn't have chosen to have a baby now but we are feeling quite sad about it.

Just confused now as it has made me really broody Confused

creeps out again

essenceofSES · 19/01/2011 20:54

Kayz - first of all, welcome back! You've been missed!
So sad to hear of your mc though. What a shock that must have been :(
Is your DP around at the moment or away with work?

Kayzr · 19/01/2011 20:57

He is away with work. I had to send him a message on facebook to let him know as he was at sea so had no phone signal.

essenceofSES · 19/01/2011 21:02

Oh no, how awful for you to have to communicate about it like that. Have you managed to speak now or does he never have signal?

Meant to say, I can understand the confusion it has caused. Does he have any DC from a previous relationship or have you spoken about having any in the future before this?

Kayzr · 19/01/2011 21:13

We've spoken about it now as he is in port at the minute.

He doesn't have any so this was his first baby. We said we will have one in a couple of years. But in all honestly I'd have one now if he wanted too.

essenceofSES · 19/01/2011 21:24

When is he next home? Must be so frustrating and difficult. Sometimes you really do want to and need to be able to talk face to face.

On a lighter note, how is your puppy settling in?
When you move in with DP, is it far from where you are now?

Kayzr · 19/01/2011 21:28

He is due back on the 11th Feburary.

His house is about 5 minutes walk from mine. Unless Freddie is on a go slow.Grin

Puppy is settling in well. It was a bit difficult when DP went away and I had to get used to doing it on my own. He seems to be housetrained. Not had an accident since Saturday so fingers crossed.

How are you Ses?

essenceofSES · 19/01/2011 21:33

Doing ok thanks - still on the ttc rollercoaster :)

Tough few weeks after Christmas as DH's cousin was killed in a car crash, then a cousin of the cousin (IYKWIM) committed suicide and then DH's uncle died. January has been a bit gloomy so I'm hoping February arrives quickly (as are you I guess!)

Only highlight was a brief trip up to see my friends in York last week which was lovely.

DS is being a star at the moment and such fun to be with :)

How was DS2's birthday? I still struggle to believe the are now turning 2!!

Kayzr · 19/01/2011 21:39

Gosh that is a really hard few weeks for you and DH.

DS2 had a good birthday. We had a little party for him. He has certainly started the terrible 2's though. He is just being such a pain at the minute. DS1 is being really good in comparsion. He started nursery that is at the infant school last september. He is almost 4 nowShock

essenceofSES · 19/01/2011 21:44

4???!!!! Wow! My goddaughter (that you briefly met in York that time) started in reception in September and she seems so grown up now!

O is going up to the next room in nursery in a few weeks but they've given him a few trials in there for a couple of hours and he seems to love it so he's obviously ready. Just makes me realise even more how he's growing up and needs a sibling Grin

Kayzr · 19/01/2011 21:55

I can't believe how quick the time has gone. I saw the midwife I had with DS2 the other day and she couldn't believe how big he is now.

I think that'll be the wierdest thing about leaving this house. DS2 was born here rather than at hospital, wonder if I can take the carpet Hmm

essenceofSES · 19/01/2011 22:08

LOL at taking the carpet!!

Right I think I'll head off to bed in a minute. DH away tonight with work in Scotland so at least I'll have all the duvet to myself!

Kayzr · 20/01/2011 07:52

It's amazing how quickly I've become addicted again. I've just spent ages reading through this thread but can't really remember what I have read now.

GingerbreadGiraffe · 20/01/2011 09:18

Hi everyone

Sorry to hear your news Kayz, I hope you're ok. Lovely to have you back on the wagon though! Although manage to keep track of what you're up to via FB (that makes me sound a bit stalkerish!LOL Grin )

Not too good here. we are just facing problem after problem with move and I am so stressed, I feel like I am close to a breakdown (possibly a bit overdramatic). Getting cramps and twinges too so really need to calm down. Wont go into it now as its long and boring! Just hoping things will look up soon!

Tink - glad dd2 had a good birthday!

Ses - heaven place sounds great! glad you enjoyed it!

Gyo/Diege good to see you back, albeit brief! hope to see you back very soon!:)

Kayzr · 20/01/2011 22:54

tinksbabyis2 · 21/01/2011 13:04

Ses so sorry 2 hear about cousins!!
Kay hope u got some sleep
Dd2 driving us nuts @ month!
Keeps crying when we put her down 2 bed
Gruff sorry 2 hear of all of your stresses

Kayzr · 22/01/2011 16:55

This year sucks already! My grandad died this morning. It was expected as he's had cancer and has been ill for quite a long time. Sad

GruffaloSoldier · 22/01/2011 21:35

Im so sorry Kayz, that is awful news. What cancer did he have? My mum is currently ill with cancer its so awful to watch someone you love suffer that way. At least he is no longer in pain - not that that makes your pain any better. Take your time and grieve. Everyday will get a tiny bit easier. I really hope you're ok.

Sod it (((((huge wagon hug)))))

Kayzr · 22/01/2011 22:13

He had pancreatic(sp) cancer and it had spread to his liver as well. He was 82 though so he had a long life.

GruffaloSoldier · 22/01/2011 23:17

Yeah that is good that he had a long life.

My mum has pancreatic cancer. Had it about 15 months and in October we were told she has a small amount of secondary cancer in her liver. She is currently on her 3rd lot of chemo. She is only 63. We are just trying to stay positive, its all we can do.

When is your other half back? I hope he is back to give you support soon. Hope you have people around you. Though I am sure your boys will keep you strong!

Try and get a good night sleep if you can. (easy for me to say I know!)

Kayzr · 23/01/2011 08:29

Other half is back on the 11th Feb. The boys are with their dad this weekend and I get them back about half 3 this afternoon. So hopefully they will just stop me from moping about a bit.

tinksbabyis2 · 23/01/2011 21:15

Hi kay - so sad u hv a hard time!
Not 2 long till partner back
