Temp sounds good Diege, and a nice long LP too :)

Hope you're ok GYo, and I'm still very Envy of your kitchenaid!

Can't, hope the pukiness is passing and I think your feelings sound absolutely normal, though it must be hard to get your head round, especially as what you're doing is so different to a 'normal' pregnancy experience that you're not being told what to expect and how to feel iyswim? Is there a group or something that you can get supprt from?

Gruff, hope your sickness is passing too, any more news on the flat?

Nat, sorry I didn't reply after asking about DS2, hope things are settling down for you and he's enjoying the nursery.

DD3 is doing well, she's finally learned to crawl properly and pulls herself up all the time but no letting go or walking yet, though she can now climb so we've had to get the stair gates out. The house is still very unfinished and we've had to buy a new washing machine as the old one died (Diege, it's a Hotpoint and is 4.5 years old which fits with what you said before Hmm), we've gone for a Miele this time which we can't really afford but hopefully it will last a bit better - it's coming on friday and I can't wait, is that a bit sad? :o

cantmummyhaveabreak · 02/11/2010 11:21

Moosy- not sad to get excited for washing machine!! I get excited for much worse than that!!

Hoping to get to sainsbury's this evening, they have toys at 1/2 price, which would be fab for finishing the kids xmas presents!!

Still pukey, but i do feel it's wearing off slowly but surely. :) (hopeful smiley)

GruffaloSoldier · 02/11/2010 20:31

Evening all,

Sorry Ive not been on. Half term last week with DH home so did lots of family stuff. Zoo, birdworld, watercress line (steam train) parks etc. It was lovely!

Unfortunately since Sunday me and GC have been ill. He seems better but I am feeling terrible. Did not make it out the house today. I am so worried as have work tomorrow, only 3 hours but I am feeling awful. If I don't go I miss out on earnings but still have to pay childcare so feeling a bit Confused I may just have to go and suffer :( :(

Hi Moosy not sad at all re wash machine! I get excited about anything I buy new! Thanks for asking re sickness and flat. Sickness is still with me, worse in morning and evening now instead of all day, as long as I don't let myself go hungry. Flat : we have another buyer, we are just waiting to hear that he has sorted his mortgage out.

Diege - Another Les Mis fan here. Have seen it a few times. I certainly wouldn't want to see it with Gareth Gates though, hardly Michael Ball is he?? (IMO the best Maurius there ever was!!) Haha maybe I shouldn't be so judgey. (sp?)

Gyo - sorry to hear you are having issues! I hope you are feeling better now.

MMM - good to see you on here, DS sounds so cute as a spider!:)

Rugby - Weekend sounds great, and weekend sounds good. FWIW I think if you teach at sixth form level you are likely to have a much better time as the students are there because they want to be etc. I certainly had a ball at college and have often thought about teaching A level Psychology. You would be in good position too as they prefer background in research at A level.

Hey CANT good going on xmas pressies. We dont spend much on xmas here so I am nearly done. :) Hurrah! Just have to get GC his main present which will be off ebay! My mum has bought him a balance bike. It is sooo nice!

Hey Tink, great about new car!

Right I really need a rest after that! Hi to anyone I missed!

GruffaloSoldier · 02/11/2010 20:33

grr that was meant to say "weekend sounds great and teaching sounds good!" doh!

essenceofSES · 03/11/2010 09:32

Morning tink :) Quiet day sounds good.

Cant - oh yes, do fill us in on your toy shopping!

Gruff - Hope you feel better today.

Moosy - hi! Good to hear from you. I agree, not sad about washing machine! DD3 sounds like she's still as cute as ever :)

MMM - I'm in constant envy amazement at the amount your DS sleeps and the wonderful lie ins you get!

Diege - bless J and his sweet envy!

Rugby - hope you feel a bit rested now but aerobics??! What's that??!! (I must try and do some exercise...!)

Giraffe - thinking of you

Sorry to anyone I've missed!

I'm feeling a bit :( this morning as I was secretly hoping this month would get me a BFP as I was starting to get some promising symptoms - waking in the night, weeing more, sore boobs and a raised temp with a dip on Monday (5dpo) which then sprang banck up yesterday. This morning temp has gone right down again though so I think I'm out this month. Any temping experts, my last 5 days has been 36.72, 36.93, 36.32, 36.92 and then 36.35 today. I'm sure there's not much chance now :(

maxxymoosmummy · 03/11/2010 16:58

SES sometimes he doesnt sleep in, the other morning he decided he waned to get up at 6.30 but i cant complain as it is a rare occasion he feels the need to get up early.
discovered a new tooth today aswel which i hadnt been aware was cutting through with the amount hes been sleepin haha.

took him to 'little angels' today where he didnt want to leave the baby and pram, so had a tantrum there Sad first tantrum in public. which didnt feel so good. so took him home early. then hes been to play with my cousins little boy ( maxs best friend ) this afternoon.

also SES forgot fingers crossed for you, it still could be?
TINK hope you had a nice quiet day like you had planned Smile

NatalieJane · 03/11/2010 17:59

Evening guys :)

Just a quick stop by to check in :)

Hope everyone is well?

Sounds like the next few days could be honktastic (bit twee for the wagoners?!) exciting (much better!) will be keeping my eye on you two! Wink

Ah, DH has just pulled up, will catch up more tomorrow x

Diege · 03/11/2010 18:46

Honk!!!!!!

essenceofSES · 03/11/2010 19:03
Grin

Diege - that's fantastic news :) Congratulations :)
I knew you'd test before Thurs with temps like that :)

Grin
Diege · 03/11/2010 20:13

Thanks SES Grin. I couldn't face the anxiety of waking up on and off throughout the night, waiting to test. On impulse I bought a digital test (Boots-own, so preg/no preg, none of the nasty 1-2 wks etc business)
It is very early days, and I know at my age the mc rate is 50% apparently, so certanly not counting my chickens!
Best of luck to you SES; if you remember I had very zig-zaggy temps and it has only really been in the last 3 days or so that my temops have got properly high (coinciding with mild symptoms).
Dh has just come in with chocs, flowers and champagne - a relief as he was a bit Shock when I showed him the test Grin

essenceofSES · 03/11/2010 20:44

Diege - Grin Grin Grin still!

How wonderful of your DH to bring home lovely suprises - enjoy!

Fingers crossed it's a sticky little bean for you :)

I really don't feel like I have any symptoms now other than the usual pre-AF cramping. I'll check my temp again in the morning and I'm expecting it to stay low.

I'm having a nice chill evening alone - O is asleep upstairs and DH is away until Sunday. It feels like a long 4 days already.

Diege · 03/11/2010 20:55

Enjoy the peace SES! Will you be watching The Apprentice? (wed night highlight!).
I am determined to chill about this pregnancy - there's nothing I can do if things turn pearshaped, so will try and relax!

maxxymoosmummy · 03/11/2010 21:02

wow congrats DIEGE yay ... sooo happy for you Grin Grin Grin
i too hope its a sticky bean.

SES hope u have a nice quiet night.

essenceofSES · 03/11/2010 21:04

Hello MMM :)

Diege - oh yes - apprentice just starting :)

Rugbylovingmum · 03/11/2010 21:33

Hurray Diege GrinGrinGrinGrin. I hope that little bean is settling in and making him/herself at home.

Ses - I still have my fingers crossed for you!

MMM - I am so Envy! I count 6.30 as a lie in these days. DD is still usually up by 5.30 although it was 6.10 this morning.

Hi NJ, gruff, Gyo, Tink, Moosy, any lurkers...

maxxymoosmummy · 03/11/2010 21:42

ive always been very lucky from day 1 with DS and his sleeping. so i really really cannot complain. off for an early night now. feeling tired, and drained with this dreaded cold. will hopefully get on in the morning at somepoint.

Moosy · 04/11/2010 07:09

Hooray! :o congratulations Diege :o

GiraffeYoga · 04/11/2010 07:54

Congratulations Diege

Hoooooraaayyy! that's made my morning!

Ses- thinking of you now, I've got everything crossed for you.

Hi lurkers and everyone else (I love how a BFP brings a few people out of the closet!)

Back later.

OP posts:
maxxymoosmummy · 04/11/2010 08:22

morning all,
god DS up watching peppa pig, waiting for thomas and fireman sam haha. ( both of which are his favourite.

think were having a day in today, staying at my mus tonight.

hi GYo, SES, DIEGE, MOOSY, RUGBY, TINK, CANT, NJ and any one elso ive missed or who is lurking.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 04/11/2010 08:53

DIEGE- what did i say??? I never got my BFP till later on even after early implantation bleed- i knew this was your month!!!! :) so happy for you!! Hope it's a sticky one- and if mild symptoms starting then thats a good sign- you know that well enough. Have everything crossed that all goes well :)

Shopping for toys in sainsbury's- very big let-down... the store close to us is fairly small but last year i'd managed to get tons for the DC's for xmas... came out with just a peppa pig music set that DS has got for DD2 for xmas.... everything else was either too baby-ish for the other 2 or sold out!! :(

Oh well it did save some pennies i suppose!!

GiraffeYoga · 04/11/2010 08:54

Morning MMM :)

Forgot to add some of these for Diege Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

DD loves Fireman Sam too. Personally I find the never ending moral tales somewhat nauseating - having said that I found myself continueing to watch it when she went out side last weekend Hmm

OP posts:
tinkortreat · 04/11/2010 09:19

wow diege - greaqt news Grin Grin Grin Grin

how many weeks would u be ?

cant - shame about shopping our sainsburys seems to have sold most of the toys

Diege · 04/11/2010 09:54

Thanks everyone Grin. CANT, your story about early spotting and late-ish bfp is very reassuring. The test yesterday came up 'pregnant' within a minute and that wasn't an early test, so I'd imagine if it was a failing pregnancy things would have declined by now..anyway, what will be will be!
Will be 5 weeks on sat, so very early days!

Moosy · 04/11/2010 09:55

Heehee, DH says that although he looks like Diege's DH, he's glad he's not actually him, his face was like this --> Shock when I told him number 5's on its way, he struggles with 3!
