Hello all,

I just realised I put the 1000'th message on our last thread (uh oh, I think that's the limit), so in my Blush at not realising I'd reached the limit, thought I'd better start a new thread if anyone finds it.

OP posts:

ProfessorLaytonIsMyLoveSlave · 15/09/2010 10:12

Yes, you will be too uncomfortable to sleep on your back long before it gets dangerous, so if you're naturally getting into that position in your sleep don't worry about it.

knittakid · 15/09/2010 11:20

Morning! been laughing so much at so many things on this thread... squeaky prams, shaving tummies and poo! it's just like 18th century Germany. Love the idea of your ds contributing to birth by fishing out poo, do you think I could train my cats to do that?
It was also my birthday yesterday (who elses'? wandering?).
I still don't know the results of the bloods for down risk, etc. the mw gave me a number but it is always on an answering machine...
Have had lots of sexy dreams lately, but guess with whom? not any TT (thank goodness, hate boybands [sorry, I am a music teacher]) or george clooney (that i would enjoy) but DH! is that just lack of imagination on my part, or true love?
I will probably fart during labor, in the pool (hopefully), so everybody will not only hear it, but see it and then smell it Blush

Tarlia · 15/09/2010 12:05

True love, knitta!

Good idea, W.Sheep but I have the new Phil and Teds on order and they don't come with a change bag sadly. Glad you got some sleep afteral.

I was reading up about people sleeping on their tummies in pregnancy, as this is where I usually sleep and often wake. Well, apparently it's fine, but will get difficult, so I will naturally stop.

I'm on such a short fuse today, either on the verge of tears or considering a full out toddler tantrum on the floor. Heh

Tarlia · 15/09/2010 12:07

So sorry, I also meant to say, HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY, knitta x

Lulabel27 · 15/09/2010 12:09

Congratulation Moonminmama, that's great news :) Love the name Izzy, I really want it on my short list but DH's daughter is called Alicia which is shorted to Lissy. So Izzy and Lissy is out of the question! (Oh and my Mum is Lizzy!) haha

Yes for the bump I definitely had a spare tyre at that stage which was soft. With good hold them-in knickers I just looked quite normal. Now its just a bigger spare tyre but getting a bit harder. There was a woman at the hospital yesterday in black leggings, knee high boots and black vest top with the most perfect tiny bump - you could only see it from the side. I was very Envy

wigglesrock · 15/09/2010 12:13

Pooed during labour with dd1 but not dd2!! Small, non-smelly, ladylike poo as all mine are Grin

Also getting really bad heartburn, indigestion at the minute, really sore so off to get Gaviscon. Had to use Gaviscon as a child for stomach problem so it always brings back icky memories!!

Right off to pretend to tidy my dirty house before I'm outed as really being Penelope Cruz mind you if I was married to Javier Bardem, don't think I'd ever get out of bed Wink

angels1 · 15/09/2010 12:22

Just watched the cherry program on iplayer and was in tears watching the births (in a good 'it's a miracle' type way). First program that hasn't made me flinch and freak out madly about birth.

Happy Birthday to knitta and funnily enough this morning I had a sexy dream involving DH (which was nice) but it for some reason was set in the toilets of a garden centre (which wasn't very nice!). Not quite sure what that says about me....maybe it's all the poo talk!

Hope ledkr made it out alive from the dirty house she had to visit for work. Must be horrible to have to go somewhere that's really smelly or dirty.

Wanderingsheep · 15/09/2010 12:22

Ah, Tarlia, I remember now about you ordering the P&T! That's a shame, pushchairs are expensive! You'd think they'd chuck a blimmin' bag in wouldn't you? Grin

Knittakid, hope you had a good day yesterday! Yes, you were right it was mine too. Had quite a chilled out day - friend round in the morning and then DD at preschool yesterday afternoon so it was nice and quiet!

ProfessorLaytonIsMyLoveSlave · 15/09/2010 12:25

I had a dream when pregnant with DS (at around this point, I think) that he was a girl named Izzy (also had all teeth and was talking within a few days of birth -- in the dream I was sure this wasn't normal but everyone kept telling me that I should just be grateful that my baby was hitting milestones early. But I digress)

He isn't a girl so decided not to call him Izzy (could have gone for Isadore, I suppose). Also didn't have all teeth and learned to talk in the usual timeframe.

wigglesrock -- well, I notice that knittakid is having X-rated dreams about her DH...

Wanderingsheep · 15/09/2010 12:25

Angels, you are having some funny dreams! Lol at toilets in the garden centre!

Wanderingsheep · 15/09/2010 12:27

I'm not Penelope Cruz but I look exactly like her! Seriously...we could have been separated at birth... Hmm

wigglesrock · 15/09/2010 12:56

By the way, have completely lost control of all emotions. Watching BBC News 24 today re Chilean miner's baby being born and him asking for little girl to be called Esperanza (Hope), have seen story about three times already and am crying more each time!!

knittakid · 15/09/2010 13:42

Well, if I was P. Cruz then it would not be a surprise if I was dreaming about my DH, Javier Bardem! yum!
Glad you had a nice day wandering, and thanks for the wishes.
Just popped in to boast, just got the results and they are 1 in 5000, so very happy about that.
Yes, sex in public toilets is just not sexy, and why a garden centre?...

angels1 · 15/09/2010 14:10

knittakid I don't question the logic in my dreams - they are always bizarre Wink. SO glad you only have 1 in 5000 - great news :)

americanexpat · 15/09/2010 14:47

Just had a google for Javier Bardem and now wishing that I was Penelope Cruz...

EauRouge · 15/09/2010 14:57

I must have the oddest taste in men, fancying Howard from TT and not fancying Javier Bardem in the slightest Grin

Congrats to moominmama and happy birthday to knitta :)

angels1 · 15/09/2010 15:04

I've just looked up Javier too and admiting I side with eaurouge - not sure what the fuss is about. I am, howvever, now watching 'lost' and enjoying watching the rather tasty (in my opinion) Sawyer Grin

OP posts:
ProfessorLaytonIsMyLoveSlave · 15/09/2010 15:08

Could take or leave Javier myself, actually, but doubtless he'd say much the same for me... Grin

EauRouge · 15/09/2010 15:12

Sawyer from Lost, now you're talking! Grin I don't feel so odd now. I quite like Ryan Reynolds as well, even though he's been in some rubbish films.

wigglesrock · 15/09/2010 15:49

But just look at Javier and he has a Spanish accent, seriously need I say more!!!

Have a bit of soft spot for Ryan Reynolds too, but the fact that he's married to Scarlett Johanson puts me off - not that I don't think I could take her but she's so annoying, makes me think slightly less of him!!

hubbard86 · 15/09/2010 16:42

found the new thread ( well not so new now ) been so busy tryin to sort everything out for our move on monday that i have to stop and remember i'm pregnant as if i overdue it i end up exhausted and in a lot of pain from the spd.
Talkin of snotty midwifes i have seen 2 different midwifes on seperate occasions neither of which are the midwife i'm supposed to have. Went to see one of the "impostor" midwives as am havin lots of pelvic pain and asked to be referred to physio but got told no as its to early and the pain was in my head and my weight was the reason if i am having any pain. Not at all impressed. (angry) Got my combined results back and my risk levels are very low 1 in 100000 well chuffed. My scan isn't till 19th oct either prof feels like forever away.
Sorry for the long rant
Glad everyone is feeling better

tadjennyp · 15/09/2010 16:53

Speaking of Lost, I had a naughty dream about Saeed last night. Blush I've also bought the little one's going home outfit and first teddy, not that we've thought of any names for him yet!

wigglesrock · 15/09/2010 16:55

Pooh re physio referral hubbard, I've already had offer re physio, I had a nasty car accident two years ago, hurt my back and was told that my body wasn't back to full strength after pregnancy (dd2 was 7 months) so to be aware that if I had another pregnancy, my back might bear the brunt of any pain. Had 16 week midwife appt 2 weeks ago, mentioned that back felt a bit sore, was offered physio referral. Ask your GP for a referral if you get nowhere with m/wives. Angry!! I'd be feckin' raging!!

knittakid · 15/09/2010 16:57

Ooooooh just watched the Cherry film, I want that water birth! how did that girl do it?!! It made me cry and cry and cry...
I accept that Bardem is not the standard hunk, but he is very, very sexy.

moonminmama · 15/09/2010 18:49

Thank you for good wishes... Inaleays said I would t go pink mad as am not really a girly girl myself, though have a feeling I probably will Smile

As for bumps and movements, my bump is quite big. Squashy at the top but firm at the bottom. I have felt loads of movement. It's unmistakeable now, especially when I've just eaten! She (it feels weird referring to it is a she ...but very good :) certainly let's Memphis what she does and doesn't like. Especially if I'm sitting in a position that isn't comfy for her

I wouldn't worry though about sizes of bumps and movements etc. Everyone is different. I wasn't anywhere near as big as this with ds. But had put on lots more weight if that makes sense?
