Just popping back because I had to tell someone the news - I have been de-friended by a member of my own family on FB! Is it because he is a Lush manager and I am a member of 'Boycott Lush for life' group, d'ya think?

ginhag · 29/07/2010 09:30

stewie got a + !!!

Cosmosis · 29/07/2010 10:10

ski bag (mostly) packed, we has milkman so no need for milk in freezer. Plenty bread in freezer, stocks of dishwasher tablets, toilet roll and cat food. Cat feeding friend lined up. Bedding washed, moses basket all made up and ready for occupation. Looks so cute, keep looking at it in wonder

Vagee - hmmm, two small girls with family near maidenhead... noone springs to mind... can you give me names on t'uvver place?

Choochee - I feels yer on the continued worry.... We told family at 12 weeks, and I was sure it was going to drop out immediately... Then we told more people at 13 weeks, and I was praying it would last a few more days so I wouldn't look like a twat and have to say 'err, no, ignore that, I'm not actually pregnant after all'. Then we went completely public a few weeks later and I still wasn't convinced it was gonna stick... It is only literally in the last couple of weeks that I have started to believe it is staying around - and that's only because it's too big by now to just fall out...

And, err, so are you gonna tell us the sex then

ChoChoSan · 29/07/2010 11:25

Might do mas...

...depends - we haven't actually discussed whether we are telling anyone else or not, so I will see what the Boyf does first!

PerfectDromedary · 29/07/2010 11:37

Am liking the increasing acceptance of diffedness here. Obviously I am still completely convinced that Berwhale is a figment of my imagination - equally can't wait for and dreading scan. Which is booked for the morning of the day we're supposed to fly out on hollibobs. Gah.

Um - BESH quadruplets in the MSDP, shurely? Meds got her go sign a few days after the ridiculous triple whammy...

Anyone know if I can take soluble fibre-y things while diffed? Like Cos, my colon is gradually impacting.

PollyPoo · 29/07/2010 12:00

Hello fred and PESHes. I am 19 weeks today. I think I am in shock. How did I get to be nearly half way through already?

Yay for OnePot!!

CluckyKate · 29/07/2010 12:05

Mine too Drom although 6-7 prunes a days seems to ease the passage so to speak.

Curly - is not all doom & gloom....my first didn't settle into proper nights i.e. waking twice a night for feeds & going back to sleep until about 12 weeks so is still early days for you. The light at the end of the tunnel for me was once she was on solids - 3 meals a day + milk got her sorted & she was sleeping 7-7 from then (& still is ).

rollerbaby · 29/07/2010 12:31

Clucky what happened for the first 12 weeks? I find this bit very scary. I am not a nice person without sleep.

FannyPriceless · 29/07/2010 12:45

camel Fybogel is OK to take. I had to take it a lot when I was sat on my arse for many weeks. Kinda stops your system, that.

SilverSky · 29/07/2010 13:11

Happy new fred. Tis the weekend for me as off work now til Monday. Happy days! Loving new title fo' sho'.

Got a MW appt in a few mins so just using the opp to catch up with you gals.

Scary how quickly the updiffed birds are switching to the laid a baybee list. I have 12 weeks go. Mamma Mia!

masser so iz you local to Berks?? < curious emoticon >

SkaterGrrrrl · 29/07/2010 13:18

Nice new digs, PESHies.

For gods sake honeymoon, 23:34 is far too late for a pregnant person to be working! Complain to your union!

@ fanny for getting laid.. since I am going to bed 3 hours before SkaterBoy every night there is not much action round ours.

Hope the funeral goes okay, VAG.

Me me me: Went for scan this morning and baby is ?Occiput Posterior? (face towards my front). MN full of ?My baby was OP and I was in labour for 43 miserable hours" stories. Help!

OkieCokie · 29/07/2010 13:21

Nice one stewpot! Well done!! Can I have a clap too as I have done 2 poos today which is very rare for me!

OkieCokie · 29/07/2010 13:24

Skates get down on your hands and knees and start scrubbing floors.

Backinthebox · 29/07/2010 13:27

Skater read www.spinningbabies.com

SkaterGrrrrl · 29/07/2010 13:31

Yes Okie apparently no more putting my feet up - and lots of swaying hips on hands and knees with butt in the air.

The latter is likely to trigger some jack russelling.

rollerbaby · 29/07/2010 13:46

Was also at desk at fricking 0730. Don't worry skates have just left work and waiting for hubby in local pub with oj and pork scrstchings. Burger awaits followed by afternoon of sleep. Joy.

Have you tried handstands underwater?

SilverSky · 29/07/2010 13:50

I iz narked. Why oh why oh why do drs surgeries never run on bloody time! I asked for the first appt cos I need to get away and quelle surprise I have been sat here nearly twenty shitting minutes already. < sodding furious emoticon >. It's beyonD a bloody joke. Not to mention that the only MW appts are between 130 and 330 anyway which is hardly helpful anyway! We are never going to get where we need to be at this bloody rate!!!! Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

CluckyKate · 29/07/2010 13:59

Me either Honey - I have to have my 8 hours or someone gets it (usually DH). I usually managed to get a 5-6 hour block of sleep by making MrC do the late feed (about 11ish) and was surprised at how well I coped with that plus a couple of hours between 3-6am. I also followed the no talking/no cuddling/no eye contact rule during the night [mean mummy] which worked for me.
Evenings pretty hellish too until we finally twigged that the crying was because she was tired & couldn't sleep with the TV blaring in the corner of the room....so we started the 7o'clock bedtime routine around 12 weeks & it's stuck ever since.

You'll also be amazed at how patient & tolerant you can be....never thought I had it in me TBH until the little chick arrived .

CluckyKate · 29/07/2010 14:32

Sorry Box - hope I didn't put you off your cornflakes.....adds another dimension to our friendship no?

SkiHorseWonAWean · 29/07/2010 16:17

Gah! plz to explain why PESH deli always talking about poo?

boxer I'd imagine your cousin hates you anyway for your lifestyle... never mind your hatred of reasonably priced smelly goods and exceptionally good facial scrubs!

cossie Good luck with your last day at work tomorrow and well done for getting organised at home. Are you planning on crying tomorrow at your leaving do?

I have my mother over who has mostly been driving me crazy and stressing me out. E.g., out at restaurant last night and it was v hot - our meals were taking ages to arrive and somehow I end up feeling personally responsible. Thankfully food wonderful and in fact best pasta dish I've ever eaten out! Anyway, just taken her up to the stables for a few hours and she is the SECOND best person on the hoss's back this year (me best obv.) - so for next baybee it's pretty much decided hoss will be shipped to Wales.

organiccarrotcake · 29/07/2010 19:09

Hi everyone. Just popped in to check out new fred title following cos's apology about it on t'other place. I thought it was rather amusing aktulee. Anyways, stuff going on in here which is interesting.

  1. Comma's BD was 5th July for the not list, if I'm still allowed on it
  2. box why you boycott Lush? (innocent look)
  3. fanny you had the SEX? You never mentioned this (stern look). Am I now the only one??? Aren't you worried about (aagghh) getting PREGNANT???
  4. Lots of people here - so glad the deli has some fine new customers.

My boobs are tingling. Need to wake the curved person to do some drinking from same.

CurlyCasperBaggedABairn · 29/07/2010 20:22

Thanks for the two sides of the sleeping coin okie and boxy. After a wakey day, and some spectacular poo-ing following a poo-free 24 hours, she has already conked out tonight. I am actually praying for my child to wake up! (so wrong!)

Am very at the fanny secks. ski did it too, so I guess there are some advantages to having a section...

Off to try and have some adult time. And that does not involve The Secks.

Backinthebox · 29/07/2010 21:08

Rots I used to love Lush stuff - especially the solid shampoo bars, no more leaky bottles in my suitcase. Then they decided to offer very large amounts of financial support to organisations that used guerilla tactics to make their point. As you can imagine, I was not happy filling the coffers of a company that support the Hunt Saboteurs Association - a particularly unfriendly bunch of balaclava-clad potty-mouths with a nice line in targetting children on ponies to intimidate to get to the adults. But the cherry on the cake was the realisation that Lush also gives lots of money to Plane Stupid - a group of people who seek to curtail aviation by maxing out security at airports by their idiotic actions, such as sitting on the runway in front of aircraft trying to take off. I like thier shampoo, but I like my freedom to carry out my hobby and my work unharrassed more!

SkiHorseWonAWean · 29/07/2010 21:09

curly I did more of the Secks today! Up the c-sections. We are armed with condoms though as I'm not allowed to get diffed yet (ha!) and I've also decided not to take the Cerazatte they prescribed... took me long enough to get diffed last time so don't want to fuck with my hormones.

Yes, it's great to see more PESH residents - even if they are all in De Nile still. ChoCho needs on the list too does she not?
