Poor you, that is SHIT. At least nice pudding. I did one of those poncy 9 course tasting lunches as a present whilst experiencing MS. Was really hideous. Everything made me want to vom. Except also weirdly the pudding which no one else liked and was bright green.

Okie have consulted my father the oracle of decorating. He says if your walls are good - don't. You'll end up wanting to replace in 2-3 years and the walls get fucked from trying to get paper off.

On a similar DIY note our bedroom radiator has leaked everywhere and as a result I have just discovered the floors under carpet are a lovely stained original boards. Rip up carpet? Easier to keep clean? or cold underfoot?

Today has been a non day. So tired and even sleeping hasn't helped. Bought 2 more bras... 40H!! From a respectable 34E. Holy fuck. Another round of £80. Had a stand off with the lady in the shop who wouldn't let me buy the ones I wanted (Anita) as they fit but I will apparently grow out of those. So I have slighter bigger ones, but they're BF ones so good I guess. Ugly as hell but at least not droopy anymore.

Burgers and lamb sausages for tea. Yumola.

that's a shame, Muser. I too am managing a lot of sweet stuff (incl lots of Haribo!) but less successful with savoury.

I have just eaten nearly an entire tube of Pringles. So the finest organic steak makes me want to puke, but bloody Pringles are fine. This baby clearly has no taste.

Mine neither (see the Haribo) and I have organic lamb chops in for dinner.

Moo too late on the wall paper advice - have just purchased 4 rolls and 4 sample paint pots. Walls are acceptable but we either 1)won't be here in 2-3 yrs time 2) will just paint over, or 3) and we will pay someone else to do the work anyway so paper removal will be someone eles headache.

Interesting about the sweet tooth scenarios. I had very sweet tooth being pregnant with child #1 but this time I have wanted more savoury. Some believe there is a link between carrying boys or girls...if you believe all that old wives tales mumbo jumbo.

Moo would have the wood floors for sure. We have wooden floors in our bedroom and not too cold underfoot at all.

Still a bit behind here but I checked out the kiddie drinking fred and added my own entry (which is true - dog loves the bubbly stuff).

Things are getting better on t'other side. Thrush is being beaten into submission - as is my GP. Flipping doctors, I tell you.

Considering going to bed but does entail locking dog away (he lives outside during day and is locked into outdoor utility room overnight (heated!) but means going outside into cold and damp), putting out LC's breakfast, locking up house, hanging out next lot of washing, then getting myself ready for bed, changing Comma which will wake him, and then feeding him until he decides to go back to sleep. Whereas right now he's in his sopping wet nappy - but asleep. Usually the whole process takes about 2 hours - do I have the energy?

Has anyone found nursing bras which actually hold your norks in place? I have 4 - set of 2 from M&S and set of 2 from Mothercare. Both cheapies - £25 or so for 2 - but wouldn't mind spending a reasonable amount on a nice looking bra which actually holds me in place and would allow me to move out of a walk. Not than I'm planning on running much, but I really do need something that has a bit more anti-bounce to it.

Currently 38EE or F which is bloody stoopid as I started as a 36C before LC.

My M&S ones did. Til I grew again. So again my boobs are holding by bra on! Not too mention bust has dropped about two inches, no amount of fiddling with the straps will give any kind of liftage. So I iz shafted. Nice bra fitting lady in M&S told me that they don't go any bigger than these H cups so looks like I will be heading to BravissimoShire. Anyone know if they have a good range in stock so I can just turn up? Don't want to drive all the way there to find it's a wasted effort.

I have been to the loo about twenty billion times in the night. My allergies have kicked off this morning and I forgot to wash the makeup of me chops before hitting the hay = one sexy mama NOT.

Anyone else getting sore hips from sleeping? My left hip is v sore from supporting my tonnage lithe preggo body.

Rots here's the link to the bras I've just bought. Good shape, support and nursing as well. As you're a bit smaller you might find something nicer, but these are definitely good value on this site. I've just realised I paid £8 per bra more in the shop I went to yesterday.

silver yes I got achy hips (fine now) and I found padding myself with pillows helped.

Oh they've got underwired nursing bras. Has anyone used them? Pre-diff I'd wear nothing but underwired but aren't they supposed to block the milk ducts or something?

Report
Muser · 01/08/2010 09:04

Not if it's fitted properly rots. The Bravissimo lady who fitted me on Friday said as long as the underwire on the side isn't touching breast tissue then it's ok. The problem is with women who aren't wearing the right size bra. I get to do some good hoicking to make sure the boobs are all forward facing.

Silversky Would suggest checking the online store and then calling the shop to check their stock. They don't do a massive range of nursing bras, so worth checking in advance.

I am meant to be going to a friend's birthday lunch. I am even baking a quiche to take to it. Problem is, I feel awful. I felt awful yesterday, I feel awful today. I do not want to get in the shower, let alone leave the house. I don't want to try and be sociable with lots of people I don't know and work people who I see every day of the week. I want to stay on the sofa and try not to puke again. But I feel guilty about the idea of cancelling.

Whine, whine, whine.

Cancel. I barely saw anyone for 3 weeks. You need the rest more than you need to go out and feel worse. Particularly if no one knows. Don't beat yourself up... it won't last too much longer in the scheme of things.

I just ate nice sunday fry up (sorry muse). Washing up has knackered my back and having nice cuddle in bed with dog and laptop. Walkies, paper, movie and nap. BLISS. God I am such a lazy arse.

It will be next weekend now before I can go shopping for more bras. Hopefully this will be the last lot before D day! If my buzwams go mad post birthage what's the options? S'pose hanging loose isn't an option unless I tape the breast pads on eh ?

Stupid preggo question - I keep feeling like I have something fizzing in my lower abdomen. This is normal, yes?
