Morning all! Hope things are going ok for everyone at the moment. :)
Mindy is 2 months today too, stac.
It's scary to think she's now 1/6th of a year old.
Our LOs are growing up so quickly. We're keeping a record of Mindy's weight and height each month, so it's the 'ceremonial' weigh and measure tonight.
We've taken a bit of a step backwards here with sleeping... Not had a full night since the first set of vaccinations at the end of last week.
Currently we've reverted back to 10pm-3:30am-7am. Which admittedly isn't disastrous, but I was getting used to a nice 10pm-6am stretch!! Oh well... Hopefully she'll start dropping the 3:30am feed again soon.
I'm still (almost) exclusively BFing and have broken out in spots too, thesecondcoming! So you're not alone there. I was hoping assuming it was something to do with after birth hormones, so BFing hormones works with my theory. Hopefully it'll go away when I stop! I'm getting sick of having more spots than the average teenager.
I've resolved to keep going with BFing until Mindy reaches the 12 week mark and has her next set of vaccinations. I'll reassess at that point and might start to migrate to formula then, depending on how things are going. I figure she'll have had the best of what I can offer by then, and her own immune system should be getting up to speed. :)
The constant cluster feeding every afternoon/evening is starting to get grating now, as I'm essentially trapped on the sofa and can't go anywhere or do anything! I'm also getting annoyed with the thrush in my breasts which just will not go away, and going to see the doctor every week or two about it is getting increasingly annoying.
Getting an appointment at my surgery is like getting blood out of a stone, they said they had nothing for three weeks last time I was there!
Fortunately the nurse doing Mindy's vaccinations smuggled me in to a reserved doctor appointment the following day. Also, the last two times I've been to the surgery they've been running an hour late! Not great, sat for that amount of time in a hot waiting room full of sick people, trying to stop a perpetually hungry baby from bawling the place down.
