Many thanks to ILike for passing on the baton to myself and Harry . I know we are a bit previous but I am worried I will get the timing wrong .

I feel like I have only been here a wee while but it is invaluable to me .

This is a poem that has helped me in the past .

I have not turned my back on you
So there is no need to cry.
I'm watching you from heaven
Just beyond the morning sky.

I've seen you almost fall apart
When you could barely stand.
I asked an angel to comfort you
And watched her take your hand.

She told me you are in more pain
Than I could ever be.
She wiped her eyes and swallowed hard
Then gave your hand to me.

Although you may not feel my touch
Or see me by your side.
I've whispered that I love you
While I wiped each tear you cried.

So please try not to ache for me
We'll meet again one day.
Beyond the dark and stormy sky
A rainbow lights the way.

Hi Olissa

glad you made your way across to join us ..

It wasnt your words that were wrong just some people didnt have their listening ears on!!!

On here we cry, laugh, smile, rant, talk rubbish together.. welcome aboard

shabster · 10/03/2009 19:20

.........and drink too much and occasionally 'eff and jeff'

travellingwilbury · 10/03/2009 19:28

My ears were burning

Was someone talking about drinking too much and talking rubbish ?

Hello all , how we doing this evening ?

You are right TW - I just wish there was something that we could all do that would actually help? BUT then I remember that nothing anybody does helps at all in the early stages does it? I got some beautiful tiny scented candles today. They are pale blue and pale pink. Couldnt resist them. Think I will light all of them tomorrow for Eris and FMN. her whole world sounds like it is collapsing around her ears. I know that sounds very dramatic but its just how it feels isin't it? This is a shitty pissing fecking crappy path that we are all walking. Come to think of it 'the light at the end of the tunnel' must need the bulb changing I havent done it for ages. xxxx

travellingwilbury · 10/03/2009 19:43

I will go and give the bulb a good kick that sometimes helps .

I get it now how hopeless other people felt around me now .

OP posts:
travellingwilbury · 10/03/2009 19:45

And you are right about everything collapsing around your ears . It does and the toughest thing at the time is to give a shite that it is .

How are you doing Shabs ? Have you had that gorgeous boy to look after today ?

The only thing we can do for fmn is be there....

hopefully she knows we are here for her

I am feeling quite good tonight because I passed the second of 2 microsoft exams today and I am now officially certified (have been certified for years but now its official)

and then my mum got out of hospital today

so life for tonight is good.. the only cloud on the horizon is that there might not be enough wine to celebrate with

travellingwilbury · 10/03/2009 19:51

Congratulations FM

I hope you are very proud of yourself . Glad to hear your mum is better .

I have no wine

I am drinking a vodka with orange squash

It is very tasty though

Welcome olissa

You certainly do make gorgeous babies. Sorry you had to meet us through losing Caitlin, but I like to think we're a good bunch and we can say whatever is on our mind and find an understanding ear who will listen.
