Many thanks to ILike for passing on the baton to myself and Harry . I know we are a bit previous but I am worried I will get the timing wrong .

I feel like I have only been here a wee while but it is invaluable to me .

This is a poem that has helped me in the past .

I have not turned my back on you
So there is no need to cry.

Just beyond the morning sky.

I've seen you almost fall apart
When you could barely stand.
I asked an angel to comfort you
And watched her take your hand.

She told me you are in more pain

Its Official I AM IN FULL PARTY MODE!!!
We have just been down and decorated the hall!!! I had a "willing" band of helpers as I am terrified of balloons and needed about 70 of them blown up!!! Im not having presents as i dont need anything, I have asked for donations to Winstons Wish and Wilfs school instead!!

Hope you have had a great night Lottie - I am well and truly PISSED and will be apologising in the morning - hitherto, forthwith and all that!!!!

Morning all..........Its quite staggeringly amazing you know! I dont have a hangover!! Quite why i havent i dont know.......... I had a total ball last night with my lovely friends.Just before the end they played Happy Birthday by Stevie Wonder and everyone made a huge circle with me in the middle and people took it in turns to come and dance with me! It was soooooooooo lovely. Im now off in a few minutes to tidy the hall!

Hi all, sorry I have not been around this past little bit. I have not been well, and it seems to have made its way around the house.
lottie, happy belated birthday, sounds like it was a great party last night! We were out for my best friends birthday last night, was so glad I was finally feeling better, just sad I was not able to join in the champagne toast. I had planned a surprise party for her, and it went off without a hitch which was great! So we too, are all in recovery mode today! Thank goodness for Sundays!

Hey folks

Had a bit of a busy weekend, on Friday night i went to a button party - i may have got slightly! drunk and therefore not many buttons got sorted - but i had fun! Still not heard from my sister at all, so it looks like she's not coming to the Christening after all, but, one of my oldest friends has decided to make a weekend of it with her DH and DD's, and is travelling the 250 miles to be here - i'm so so pleased, we don't get to see each other all that often, but have known each other since we were 14
