Many thanks to ILike for passing on the baton to myself and Harry . I know we are a bit previous but I am worried I will get the timing wrong .

I feel like I have only been here a wee while but it is invaluable to me .

This is a poem that has helped me in the past .

I have not turned my back on you
So there is no need to cry.
I'm watching you from heaven
Just beyond the morning sky.

I've seen you almost fall apart
When you could barely stand.
I asked an angel to comfort you
And watched her take your hand.

She told me you are in more pain
Than I could ever be.
She wiped her eyes and swallowed hard
Then gave your hand to me.

Although you may not feel my touch
Or see me by your side.
I've whispered that I love you
While I wiped each tear you cried.

So please try not to ache for me
We'll meet again one day.
Beyond the dark and stormy sky
A rainbow lights the way.

I'm ok thanks TW. My grief seemed to turn into frustration yesterday, which is harder to deal with than tears tbh.

But, today is another day and the sun is shining. Onwards and upwards

travellingwilbury · 24/04/2009 08:18

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better oday Ilike . Like you say onwards and upwards x

Hi Dee , any news with the stone mason ?

OP posts:
Deemented · 24/04/2009 09:06

Grrr... stone mason is going to apparently put completed headstone back up next Thursday. Turns out he's only registered with BRAMM and not NAMM, so i can't make a formal complaint against them specificaly, only if the headstone itself is faulty. Not a happy bunny.

travellingwilbury · 24/04/2009 09:14

I am not surprised you are peed off . You really would think someone in that line of work would have a bit more empathy and understanding .

Hi all.......Im now feeling very guilty! I have just had an email from Wilf (whos staying at school cos of the party) "I miss you Mummy, I have been crying I want to see you Mummy....." My sister says hes deliberatley making me feel guilty. I burst out crying when I read it though! She has said very firmly that he IS NOT going to spoil my weekend!!

shabster · 24/04/2009 18:08

Bearing in mind my previous panic about the party and previous parties being cancelled I did panic when i heard an ambulance nearby this afternoon but as far as I know as is well!!!

travellingwilbury · 24/04/2009 18:19

I hope you have a fab time Lottie and yes I agree Wilf will be fine and he is just trying it on .

By the way I have joined the 21st century and have facebook now but I don't really want to put up my e mail as it is basically my rl name . So has anybody got a less obvious name and I can come and play
