Many thanks to ILike for passing on the baton to myself and Harry . I know we are a bit previous but I am worried I will get the timing wrong .

I feel like I have only been here a wee while but it is invaluable to me .

This is a poem that has helped me in the past .

I have not turned my back on you
So there is no need to cry.
I'm watching you from heaven
Just beyond the morning sky.

I've seen you almost fall apart
When you could barely stand.
I asked an angel to comfort you
And watched her take your hand.

She told me you are in more pain
Than I could ever be.
She wiped her eyes and swallowed hard
Then gave your hand to me.

Although you may not feel my touch
Or see me by your side.
I've whispered that I love you
While I wiped each tear you cried.

So please try not to ache for me
We'll meet again one day.
Beyond the dark and stormy sky
A rainbow lights the way.

Morning all, another day of glorious sunshine here. The sun makes me feel so much better.

Yesterday I met up with another mum who has recently moved to the village and I had to have the 'Cole' talk. It then dawned on me I will have to have this conversation with each new friend I make. It feels never ending sometimes doesn't it? She was lovely though so I can see a great friendship developing.

Its a hurdle that we have to cross sooo many times, sometimes I clear it with ease.. sometimes I fall headlong over it

Of course we dont know what the other persons reaction will be either ... some reactions still take me by suprise

It's been gorgeous here today too .

Ilike I am still really rubbish at THAT conversation and I am over 7rs down the line (I can't believe it's been that long )
it is never going to be an easy conversation and I am always grateful for the people that deal with it well .

I struggle sometimes with the fact that I am sure a lot of people I know now in passing because of the other two (school gates and the like ) probably don't know about Harry .

Hi ladies. Mac and I went to visit Cole's grave today and lay some flowers down. It was two years ago today that he had his first transplant. He deserved more, he fought so bloody hard. Pah, God it's just so shit isn't it?

I went to the funeral of my late godmothers twin sister this afternoon..........was just the sort of service she would have wanted, her nieces(my gm's girls) looked very smart and took their dogs into church with them (did the same at the crematorium for my gm's) Im afraid i giggled when the vicar got the bottom of the aisle and the dog barked! God Bless Weewon! (Her name was Yvonne but none of us could say it so she was Weewon)

I am lurking. Its 3 years on Monday. I have been on a bit of a high since the weekend for some odd reason. Now I am crashing like the crashiest crashy thing in the whole of crashworld .

I concur that life is a completely shitey journey
and each time you think you are seeing light at the end of the tunnel it turns out to be a bloody train heading straight for you!!

Ilike I wish there was something I could say to help with your pain right now .. the saddest words ever are "if only " arent they ?
