Many thanks to ILike for passing on the baton to myself and Harry . I know we are a bit previous but I am worried I will get the timing wrong .

I feel like I have only been here a wee while but it is invaluable to me .

This is a poem that has helped me in the past .

Im having my hair cut short tomorrow Had it short for 30 years and then about 4 years ago decided to grow it long (mid life crisis?) I cant wait!!

Shabs I had my hair short for years a years. I had a Annie Lennox bleached crop. I loved it and the feeling whenever I got a really short haircut - freedom!

Now I have ever such long hair. I dont know how it got to this length. I get tempted every so often to go for the chop again. I keep chickening out tho . Let us know how it goes.

Dont know if you watch Hollyoaks but there is a young pregnant girl on there and I love her hairdo!! Apart from the fact that she is tall, slim, pregnant and very young we are just the same!!!

ROFL LOL LMAO - she is only a few years older than our Tom - who the hell am I kidding? My hair is naturally auburn but I have so many grey hairs its frightening. I colour my hair mid brown but I think I will go more red once I get used to having no hair

Dont tell anyone..... BUT I found a grey hair on my ladies front bum!!!! Ewwwwwwwwwwwww too much information I hear you all scream....and a couple of verrrrrrrrrrrry long grey hairs growing out of my chin!! I have never been one of lifes beauties but OMG this is too much xxx

I dont watch Hollyoaks. Its a 'Billie' programme. She used to make me watch it - she loved it. Havnt been able to watch it since. Mind you I never liked it anyway .

Awwwwwwww. Hope you dont mind but I will watch it in honour of Billie - I will report back to you IF I ever sort out who is who and who are the goodies and the baddies Give me Norris and Rita and Coronation Street any day

There used to be twins and one of them drank. They annoyed me a great deal LOL.

My girl loved it though. Every flippen evening I would be forced to watch it when we were in hospital. Still I got my own back.She had to watch Mrs Marple

LOL at Miss Marple v Hollyoaks.....I get really involved with Hollyoaks but never know who belongs to who or WHY!!!! I know what you mean about them being so thin. I am overweight but who gives a dam. More important things in life I reckon. Its good to chat Chegirl - so good - have missed you!

Chegirl this song is haunting me. It is Everlong and her lovely son Oli's song but I, quite simply, cant get it out of my head. I love the words....I love how Adele sings it - its just beautiful.

Awww you are sweet to me - always. Its a little haven here. Things seem to be getting a little umm, eer, snitty on the main boards.

There is a song by Corrine Baily Rae that reminds me of my Billie. Its called Butterfly. Poor Corrine lost her OH through suicide. I wanted to contact her and tell her how much her music had helped me after I lost Billie.

There is another one of hers called Star (I think I have got the names right). She has such a lovely voice and a haunting way about her.

The thin thing - I was always so careful with my Billie. I never wanted her to worry about her weight. I didnt have scales in the house and I never talked about diets etc. I used to discuss body image with her. Horribly ironic that she developed an eating disorder because we had to concentrate so much on her weight and calorie intake when she was ill .

Think thats one of the reasons I cant watch Hollyoaks.

I know Im cheeky - I know that I have put this song on here before BUT this song was sung by Matts Primary school friends at his funeral - and they sung it with even more enthusiasm than the lovely kids on this video sing it!!!!

Just imagine about 150 pupils, in full uniform, singing this song with gusto - it was wonderful

G'morning folks

Busy day here today - take boyo for therapy (the one i pay for) then up to my dads so he can drop me in town and then he's taking boyo to school, while i nip into my slimming world class in town. Fingers crossed i've lost again this week - i've lost 12 and a half lbs so far, and this will be my 3rd week.

Hi all
hope you are all well, been having a few issues so sorry for not being around for a while. (DDs violent and aggressive behaviour - according to nursery ) I have been dipping in and lighting candles on remember days but not had chance to post much of late.

Just found out yesterday as well that there is a bun in the oven . Had a GP apt last night and left a sample and have an early scan booked for the 24th of this month. Just for reassurance really.

Just think this going to be some rollercoaster ride over the next few months.

Will try to get on a bit more and keep up with you guys. Sorry for anyone having a rough time and hello to all you new girls, sorry we have to meet like this. I have identical twin boys one of whom died 9 hours after birth as he was missing a trachea. I also had an early miscarriage in January of this year. G will be 2 tomorrow and we are off to the safari park for the day.

The ladies on here are lovely and always know what to say when you feel crap.
